DH took 3 of the boys (Jordan didn't feel well) to Skate World. Julian's school had Family Day there, and they get to skate for free.

Pam, I did manage to grab a quick catnap this morning. Fell asleep on the couch while the boys and the boy I watch watched Nemo.

A happy belated anniversary wish to Rose Mary and DH!

My bathroom/same *Oops... I mean* different sex, etc.... 2c.... my son is 14 and it's STILL hard to let him go in the men's rest room! I do, but it makes me nervous. Actually, what makes me REALLY nervous, is leaving him out in a public place when I have to go in. First time I did that, was last December when the two of us went to WDW together. Sigh.

Sherry's got such exotic tastes! But sometimes she likes the simpler things...instead of nachos and chees she might go for ...oh, let's say...eggs and BAAAAAACON.

Oh and I don't want to gloss over this protective parents topic...I don't have children but it did strike me how very different the world is now than when I was young...was it that long ago when kids could just go off outside and play with their friends and go to the corner store and the movies without parental supervision? Well my 2 oldest wont go in the womens bathroom anymore. They are 16 and 13 and my oldest is over 6ft tall and has a pretty stocky build. He was a lineman when he played football. Ds #2 is about 5'4 so far--also pretty stocky build. But I still make them go in together and stay together. I just dont think you can ever be to careful--just to many perverts and sicko's around

Well, Jarrod has moved on to the sick to the tummy stage. He hasn't eaten enough to really be sick, but it is not good. And yes, Pam, it has been difficult!!! I called his dr. and they said it was a good sign that he was vomiting because that means its a virus and not the flu. I looked in his throat and looks like road rash in there, nothing to indicate strep if you know what I mean (don't wanna gross anyone out). The dr. office said to keep an eye on him and if anything changes significantly to call them.

I called the other job and let them know I'm not coming in this evening (I was on call so I didn't even know yet if I had to work or not). I don't think they were too happy about it, but hey, I have a sick baby and I'm going to take care of him. I think this is the first day i've called out since the summer time. Oh well, and if he doesn't feel better tomorrow then i will skip the wedding.

Okay, gotta run and do somethings before he gets up from his nap.

Suzanne--We didn't get married yesterday, it was just 10 years ago that I proposed to DW...I am good at remembering numbers, bad at names..We got married on April 22nd...Our first date was April 23rd...I think I got that right...
