Good morning.
What can I blame my typos on? The cats...that's it. They take turns jumping on the keyboard
Hope everyone is being successful in fighting off those flu bugs.
Liz....hope your recovery is going well.
I'm a non controversy person....but I like to read.
I depend on you all to send me to the right places though, I only read 2 or 3 boards since I'm not planning a WDW trip anytime soon

Whoa, everyone has been MOTHY!!!!!! I've got 20 pages of ketchup to do, aackkk...this is how I got lost last time.
We had a nice, quiet new years here. Had Bellinis and watched VH1 until about 20 minutes before midnight (the one hit wonders marathon, lol) and then Dick Clark. The shocker was that no one in our families called us, Ed ended up calling his family.
Had a lazy morning, then went into DC for the Auto Show. It's more fun going to the show and looking when you know you're getting another car this year
. Once this house is sold, we're not going to hurry into buying one in Florida, and I'm going to get something newer (probably not brand new, though). Then we went to Hooters for dinner, yum. Daddy and younger son were enjoying the, um, er, DECORATIONS, and I enjoyed the food. older DS just wanted to sleep at the table.

Donna, I'm with you. DH wanted to get a huge ring (because ex didn't get me a ring until after we were married) and I kept insisting on a small ring. I think I tried on 1 and 1.5's for him and kept telling him I wanted a .5, plus I like the most expensive cut (emerald). In the end, I got what I asked for
although he knows I'd like an anniversary band for our 10th.
Where's that nose vacuum someone mentioned? I've been looking for it for months!
Deena, I have the laptop DH got me off ebay. The new hard drive in our regular pc fried the modem, so we've been doing everything off my laptop for a while now. I just like the laptop so much, I'm getting a newer one with maybe a DVD player so that I can watch my movies without worrying about what the kids want! I have one of those ex's that are still a *****!
Yay, I got the recycling out in time...they're taking 3 weeks worth because they come too early!
Rosemary-Glad your DH is home. It's kinda hard getting to sleep when the other half isn't there. Hope he's on the mend. Happy Anniversary!
Liz, sorry your tub experience wore you out instead of relaxing you. I had several surgeries on my wrists and the tub was always a challenge. I think the dumbest thing I ever did was when I broke my wrist and still went to the poconos with the ex. I was told I could get the cast wet, and did, but man, it was so itchy while drying!

Nancy, I ordered my dishes from disneystore.com. I got the mickey ones. Get this---they were my birthday present from July. DH couldn't figure out that I could use a gift card, so I had to tell him the other day. I couldn't use the Bonus25, but they still are a good deal.
Alaska, sounds good! DH asked me last night where we'll vacation once we move to FL and WDW isn't the trip. I came up with Nawlins, Key West, California (for DL, of course!) Hawaii, Alaska, Ireland....we spend about as much on a WDW trip as we would for a week in any of those places!
Deena, your falling out of a tree sounds like my breaking my wrist story. I broke it breaking down boxes for recycling at work!!

OMG, I am caught up. Thanks for reading the novel. I just about have time to hop in the shower, get the kids some lunch and get to work. I will be cleaning up big time tomorrow. I invited neighbors over for dinner and I need to clean and make a big batch of marinara sauce...the house will smell good, though!

I wasn't demanding, per se - just loudly insisting.... there is a difference, ya know.... Awwwww.... Todd is a GOOD cookie! He's the little brother I never had - although I do have two older ones - and one drives me straight up the wall.....
Tina - forgot to say that it's great your Mom found some of those snowglobes for your DD. Wow - sounds like she got bit by the old globe bug pretty good!!
Nancy - DD also loves Monk - but she didn't get out of bed early enough yesterday to watch any before she went over to nurse BF.....

Morning, Tina and Nancy!! Yes, it is a good day to get the new printer set up. Then it is a good day to buzz over to Office Depot to pick up a package of iron-on transfer paper (house brand is fine) then to Michaels and pick up a few t-shirts to play around with. Have a good time!!!

I have some iron on transfers. But no tees. Michael's is 35 miles, there is snow on the ground and looks like more coming, so I'm not going out anywhere today.

Beth - actually I wearing a variation of those jammies right now - flannel - Tinkerbell top - and plaid bottoms that have Donald and Daisy on the legs - long story - didn't know that Donald and Daisy were on the pants until afterwards.....
Nancy - yum, yum yum....... I do believe that I will have to do some taste-testing on the lower right hand shot....

Geez, i leave for less than 12 hours and come back to 3 pages.
First it was Kristy taunting us with her husband being in bed and now Von wants to tell us all about making out....geez, I can't even find a date and these guys are bragging!!!
Suzanne...good ketchup but I think Liz fell out of the tree!! Good luck at work today. I'm on call this evening but if Jarrod is still sick I may not go in.
BTW...he woke up this morning with temp at 99 and said that his throat was fine and he felt good. So a little bit ago he starts crying that his throat hurts and that he wants his medicine. He did wake up really stuffed up this morning so i'm going to watch him today and see if it is just a head cold. He's never had strep, but when he wakes up i'm gonna look at his throat to see if it looks funky! I really want to avoid the dr. at all costs right now. Mom has stuff to do today and I don't want to bug her about it. I know she will take him if I ask her, I just hate to do so when she has so much to do.
Jammies...sweat pants and sweatshirt I wore out last night to get dinner from chilis. I was so tired by the time I went to bed, I removed the constricting upper portion of my attire and fell into bed the way i was. That's the nice thing about sleeping alone....I don't need to impress no one!!!
Cookies...I would send you cookies Pam, but then you would require a dental practice to fix your teeth from the damage caused by them. That's why I chose to partake of the majority of my meals from establishments with good food and service. I always say that if I didn't eat out so much I would be a rich woman...alas, I'm such a lousy cook even Jarrod's school knows I can burn a grill cheese sandwhich!! lol!
Okay, gotta look around the spa. I think I need my neck rubbed. I'll be back later.

Awww Tara your in good company, I am not the greatest cook either, lol. I know its hard to believe that, me being such the domestic goddess and all I make 2, maybe 3 dishes my family really gets excited about that., Other than that they start drwing numbers before the meal to see who gets the bathroom first after they eat

My DSIL's mom told us at Thanksgiving that in her house they always end the prayer (when mom has cooked that is) with "And Lord let this food be fit to eat!" Now that's not a good sign!!

Just jumping in to say hello to everyone. Things here have been a little hectic since before Christmas. My brother was the hospital and has had gall bladder surgery but not without having some heart problems. He is home now and doing fine. He lives in Houston.
DH's dad is scheduled for triple by-pass surgery next Wednesday and that has been a great shock to the family.
DS is getting packed to head back to college and DD is wondering where the winter break went. She goes back next Monday and then the next week they have finals. That sucks....
I am only going to try to catch up on this page so please forgive me.

I think I am going to wait for Greg to get home though...just in case. I refuse to have the fire department hoist my nekee self out of the tub........Not a pretty picture..sorry for the visual you all have now. Well, not much new here. Same old stuff, differant day!! Oh Deena, there is no winning with her!!! She is ALWAYS right. I asked the stupid question about FOTL being an option at WDW and you can only imagine the responce I got. Not pretty!! I did drop a little PM and got a nasty gram as well!! So, I have decided to notpartake in her conversations.....IGNORE is the word I choose to use with her now.
