Done vacuuming the study....papasan has been setup. Cleaning the bedroom now of all the Christmas gifts(putting them where they belong). Also ordered a large pizza from Pizza Hut: half pepperoni & sausage.. half pepperoni. Should be here in 45 minutes. Derek's in the mood for a video so we're gonna eat and watch Lion King

Tara hugs and pd for Jarrod. I feel for the little guy. Having to be held down isn't fun. Has he had them often?? Might be time to remove those tonsils.

Evening!
I'm about to call it a nite but decided to pop in one last time before I snooze.
Kristy...this is the first case of strep he has ever had. I had my first on my first birthday, my second on my second birthday and almost every year until they took them out!! Anyway, he had his adenoids out in June but i don't know if that had anythign to do with it. I guess since we got the tubes and he hasn't had an ear infection all fall then it had to be something else. The poor baby just feels miserable and I hate that there is not much I can do for him!

I think Deena needs to change her tag to Troublemaker and Pot stirrer!!! hehehe you're killing me Deena!!

Okay, gotta run and get some sleep before I get hungry again. This kid has been hungry all day!!

Why does 3rd shift have to come in to work pissed off every night?? How can people live like that? Always in what seems to be a bad mood...sheesh.. ..okay vent over..

Tara....glad to hear he hasn't had them often. I remember when I was kid probably 6 or 7...doctor told me if I had one more sore throat...tonsils were coming out. Didn't have another one till I was a teenager Then I had to have my tonsils removed when I was 23. THAT HURT! you're a great mommy caring 'bout your munchkin

Hi, all...lousy day at work here. Got treated like garbage by four guests in the first hour...the fourth was so bad that Poohzanne threw her keys on the counter and grabbed jacket and bag, walked out and had a cry! It takes an AWFUL LOT to get me mad, but these people were so mean for no reason...I mean, they were acting as if I ruined their christmas because I didn't grab the right doll for this woman when helping her out!

All is better now, had a nice daquiri while doing ketchup. NO, I am not writing another novel. One in 24 hours is quite enough, but everyone has been so MOTHY!

Shep, good memory on those dates...DH forgot our anniversary this year--OOOPS! He said it's cuz he feels the wedding anniversary isn't as important as the day we officially became a couple!

At least I've got the weekend off. It will be a busy one. I have to clean house for dinner guests in the evening and we're off to brunch on Sunday with good friends, then to Ikea for another DVD case...bought one last month and there's about 30 or so DVD's left out in the cold

Got the local help u sell realty flyer today in the mail, and wow, the houses on my block have been going for almost double what we paid 5 years ago. Nice thing is that we got redistricted out into a better elementary, so these townhouses are in demand. Yay for when we sell!!! Woohoo!

Sorry everyone had such a bad day yesterday. Even poor Greg was uner the weather and went to bed early. so that explains the DQ thing. But he promised he would go today!!!!

No flames please...but I have never seen Lion King....at least not the movie....( a bit of lizdotcom99 trivia here....I have seen very few Disney movies.....so few that my friends tell me I have no right to be the Disney fan that claim to be ) I did see the Broadway show The Lion King...and it was very good! and for those wondering....here is the list of movies I have seen:
Finding Nemo, Toy Story 1 & 2, Beauty and the Beast. Merry Poppins, Mulan, Freaky Friday..the new one...Little Mermaid, Princess Diaries and I think that covers it!!! NO FLAMNG ALLOWED!! If you would care to send your video library to me for the next two weeks for the purpose of eduction, Iwill gladly pay postage and return all films to the rightful owners!!!!!! And you guys were worried that I have just not seen POtC.... hmmmmm....mabe I need to rent a few movies huh? Like maybe Snow White, Cinderella, the Jungle book, Peter Pan...the list goes on and on.......OK flame me now....

Now back to this post...where was I? Oh yeah, I did manage to watch My Best Friends Wedding!! I love that movie. OK, now I am really bummed about the movie thing and am thinking I really need to see some Disney movies...any good one that I MUST see? Maybe I will have Greg do a video run for me later if he is feeling better!!! I know you can all help make my list!!!!

Liz, I must say too that I am mostly movie deprived. (DH is more the Disnatic in our home.) We don't usually take much time to watch movies. Now in our aging years, we have discovered that we have so very different tastes in movies. Sigh.
