They have these restrooms at the mall...

But one time comes to mind was when we were in Cades Cove..Smokey Mountains and we were waiting for a stall and all these guys were there doing their thing....Amanda wasn't there cause she had to stay home with Cassie and I wasn't gonna ask grandma to take her since i had to run her to the potty...waits til last minute.. ...Of course the dude that was in the stall just did a #2 so it was really pleasant in there... ...
okay..i know...TMI...But with 2 girls having to go it can get pretty tough..and when I have to go its even worse... ....

Gack, getting sleepy here, but seriously this bathroom talk is interesting. I am glad that you take your girls with you, Todd... not all dads would do that!

Never been in one of those family restrooms... although truthfully if all the bathrooms had stalls, I am not sure what the big deal with kids being in the "other" bathroom would be.

Egads, left for just a couple of hours and had to kechup for ever! Tired now and have to go to work tomorrow to pay for my vacation. (would rather sleep in--oh well)

I have no problem with the other gender taking their children into the restrooms. As I see it, it's better to be safe than sorry. Jarrod already wants to go by himself in the men's room. I tell him when he's with daddy that's fine, but with mommy he goes in the girl's restroom. I am so afraid of what can happen to either gender child without a parent or protective guardian that i don't know when I will let him go by himself. Hopefully by the time he reaches college age!!!

A story...When I was 17 I went to Spain with my spanish class for two weeks. We were there with a huge group of students from all over the US and we were heavily loaded with the females. The poor guys were very outnumbered...although for some it worked out okay..but that's another story. Anyway, one day we were in this mountain town having dinner (all 100 of us, probably 75 females). The restaurant had a dinner portion up stairs and a tapas room downstairs and the bathroom was off of the bar area. I got down to the bathroom and there were a ton of girls waiting to use the rr (it was a 2 seater), so another girl and I decided that we would take over the men's room. So there I stood guarding the door. On poor old man came down to go and in my very best (read worst) Spanish I said, "la chica en el bano" He tried to get past me and then he realized what I said and he looked around and just burst out laughing. so when I finally got done, in the men's room, I walked back through the bar, the old fart pointed me out and and said something, the whole bar burst out laughing and watched me walk back to the restaurant. However, I held my head high. If they had wanted to join me in there to do their business I would have let them!!!

Okay, back to theme park to see what they are talking about. More later,

Thanks for backin up a sistah! I dont go looking for fights on the boards but when I see something that is sooooo stupid I just had to say something. I have been irritated by her more than once but I usually just hit the back button. Just couldnt do it this time.
I did send her a lovely reply back but she hasnt read it. Might have put me on ignore--she doesnt like to hear anything but her side.
Now I have to go pick up my oldest ds, he was spending the night at my grandmothers but called he feels bad and has a SORE THROAT. Dang flu found my house anyway. We were doing pretty good hiding from it.
As for the TP board I need to put in an order--we never have enough around here

How can parents be over protective? What I really want to say and it would be mean and I know it (that's why I'm saying it here) is maybe if she were a little more over protective then....well you know what I mean.

I teach people with disabilities and it really irks the snot out of me when ones start crying foul!!!! Whenever my kids start to think that rules should be different for them I set them straight in a heart beat. oooooohh that just makes my blood boil!! If I want to take my kid into the ladies room until he's 30 I will. He maybe kicking and screaming but who cares!!!!

Okay, just got an im, gotta go look at it. More later! Thanks for letting me post my 2 cents worth.

Quick Pam hose her down with Lysol and lock her in her room I gave mine oj and advil and told him to not touch his brothers, breathe on them or come in any kind of contact. We havent been around any sickies so I dont know how it found us but it did

Hey Pam I'm fine. I have slept more in the past 3 days than I have in the entire 3 months I've been pregnant. I think I'm catching up on all those days of working too manyhours!! I just really don't want Jarrod to get sick or have to take him to the dr. I know I'll get sick if I go. I might get my mom to take him tomorrow if he needs to go!!!
