Shep, I was passed out because I am a tired old lady and I get really cranky without my sleep. And the only thing I drank last night was Fresca and Minute Maid Orange I still can't believe we went to a party and didn't have a single alcoholic drink! I AM getting old........

Pain meds are working OK....but I am eager to be healed....oh the joys of time. Sounds like there was a lively bunch here last night. Fresca and OJ, that is quite a mix. I think we need to have that POTC jammie party. I'm game. Maybe I will ahve Greg go rent some movies since he is going back to work tomorrow....hmmmmm....pain meds and drool material...sounds like a great day!! That's all for now from here. In answer to your NYE's question - sometimes we women confuse ourselves --- I went to the BR and read a book through midnight because DH put on a DVD of the Three Stooges - and I can't handle but about 2 minutes of them.... (and yes, I did buy him the DVD set..... )

Tara - you don't snore - you just have delicate breathing problems.....

Lily - Did you like League of Gentlemen?? DS, a couple of his friends and I went to see it at the Drive-In and I was really confused by it - but DS liked it, his friends fell asleep.....

Deena - I had the same problem with the cat sleeping on my side of the bed - fully stretched out, then she wanted a fresh can of food in the middle of the night, then she wanted to "talk", then she wanted in DD's room and the door was closed..... sheesh.....

Elaine - the party went well, yay!! Were you the Disco Queen???

Beth - I was worried about you!! Yeah - you should have come to my NYE party - it rocked! I sat in bed with a book and lots of snackie food!! It was nice not having any kids home and being able to wear your jammies at 9:00 pm without worrying about being seen in your Porky Pig jammies by 3 15 yr. old boys!

DS DID get a deer yesterday afternoon with his muzzleloader - I guess he and DH had a heck of a hike to get it out of the woods. DS was then over 2 hours late getting to his sleepover/party as they had to skin the deer, etc.

No exciting NYE stories from this house.
I sat and watched Law and Order marathon while drinking diet coke and cross stitching. DH was out in the shop
But I'm not a partier and I really enjoyed it.......didn't stay up until midnight though. Too tired from cleaning.

Today? Well, I didn't entirely finish yesterday...so I will be washing windows And watching more TV...NOT football.

Nope, didn't sleep much at all Todd. The sunshine made me stay up when I normally would have kept on sleeping. No big though. And yeah, I love dancing so I did! First time I've done that since PT though

Bethie, did you have a good time last night? Details of the party? Well... got there at about 8:30 or so... went to my dad's before then for Chinese and other such food. Arrived there, cracked open my wine (White Merlot) had a glass. We played foosball, did some karaoke, and I can't beleive it that is more or less all we did until the ball dropped. Probably tons of chatting and laughing in there too!! There was this girl there from college that I had to "fight" with over Luis (not really, loooooooong story there, but she wouldn't "let go of him" in college) and in my pure charm, I just smiled chatted when appropriate and more or less didn't let her get to me. The ball dropped, drank some non-alcoholic champagne, kissed and then danced almost nonstop for 2.5 hours!!! So that was the party in a nutshell

Liz, I hope the time flies between now and the 12th!! And I am soooo game for a Pirates Jammie party!!! Can we convince the cast to come too?

Pam, congrats on the deer!!! I hope that your DS enjoyed doing all that as much as he would have at the party! And yep, Dancin' Queen here

Nancy, sounds like an enjoyable night! I am just a night owl and never seem to have much trouble staying up for the ball drop Skip washing windows though... relaxing is more fun

Well, DH is up, so time to cook some breakfast and start those windows......I only have a few to do, Elaine. It won't take too long.....just the ones that had all those window clings on

Awww, geeeez.....thanks for the anniversary wishes!! Dh has to work today so we;re not celebrating till the end of the month when we're gonna do a quick little romantic getaway to WDW.

And Deena, Apolo is going to get mighty cramped--Kim's actual birthday was not too long ago. Better let him be the New Year's Baby and come on out of that cake!! LOL!!

I'll have some of that deer stew!! I love it with mushrooms!!

Glad to hear that splint only has to be on for 12 days, Liz. We'll just keep chatting and throwing parties and the time will just fly for ya!
