Good Morning one and all! Thank you all for the birthday wishes yesterday for Cameron. I wound up getting him a PS2 game, a musice CD and movie. We had a great dinner and then home to see Survivor. Kristy-I ate plenty of pasta for both of us .

Yep, Nancy the spoilers are holding true so far. And it does seem a little boring with the same challenges and all. Do you think it could also be because they are all people from before and we already know there personalities?

Elaine-Drop one of those brownies by on your way to work, ok?

Must hit the shower and get on the road. Leaving from work to go visit my Sis in Winterhaven. We might be hitting Animal Kingdom tomorrow

Survivor is a little boring this time around.... I think we saw the Survivors personalities evolve the first time around and were expecting fireworks - but we know what they are like - the other Survivors know what each other are like - and it's just a weak fizz.......

I am glad Tammy is gone from The Apprentice, too! I never liked her! Omarosa should be next.... lazy and nasty.

Hi Kristy & Sherry! So what did I miss on Survivor?

Nancy, you'd think that with LA being over double the distance than it is going to Orlando, that I'd be paying *more* I think my air to MCO was $241 last time and this being $229 I couldn't pass it up. Plus if it does go down, I'll bug Delta and get a credit... they are always the ones we seem to use to fly (except to Chicago, others are cheaper there).

I'll be doing Chicago tomorrow as well. Need to spread some things out in my brain a little I think. Plus I need to look at the hotel thing again and I want to book those at the same time.

Awww Rose Mary, if I had been able to see your post before I left for work I would have dropped some brownies off for you! You can always come here and get some!! Glad that Cameron had a good birthday

Good morning, Ya Yas!!! Got my 20 laps in at the pool this morning and now I'm ready to go back to bed!!! Whew, I'm tired!!!

Yay, Lainey is booked for DL!!! Like Nancy, we are holding off hoping prices will go down. We've seen it as low as $198 round trip from DC, but right now, it's about $300. So we are trying to be patient!

Nancy, I'm so sorry to hear your air to Chicago went UP!!! So unusual this far out!! Maybe you'll get lucky and it will be back down this weekend?! I'll keep hoping, anyway. How's DH? I don't suppose you've heard from the doc yet. Still keeping that in my prayers, never fear.

Rose Mary, sounds like you did fine for DS' birthday! Bet he's quite happy with those gifts! Pretty soon he's going to be wanting his own DVD player and TV etc

Morning, Pam!! Check out the great "sausage" rolls we have this morning!! Those raccoons you brought in last night were put to good use!!! I think we have a pot of soup simmering on the back burner, too. How you holding up with deadline and all? Get your article written? Sure hope you can find the time to write a few little stories for us again here--I for one simply loved them!!!

Sherry, we have matching weather!!! Isn't it wonderful?! And it's supposed to last all weekend, too. Just can't believe it! Hope you all get a chance to enjoy it!

Kristy, glad you didn't get much snow. Are you getting this warming trend, too? Makes me wish I had a garden--I'm in the mood for flowers! Might have to check on the cost of window boxes for our balcony and some "guaranteed-to-live" stuff. I can root cuttings really well, but all I have to do is put 'em in dirt and that's it. Dead. Brown thumbs, I think!

Jeannie, good luck with the Filene's thing!! I saw a show about that once and couldn't believe the chaos and cat fights!!!

Well, I don't know the Survivors' personalities I've only watched the last couple "seasons"....so I don't know anything about most of the people. Still think it is kind of boring. No fighting or such....yet

A good thing about air going up for Chicago is that now I can fly into O'Hare like everyone else
I think LAX might not get good for me....too many business trips from here. I'm looking at almost as much as Elaine is paying $220.
But....a couple months ago it was over $400!! So getting better.
And that is about what we pay to go to Orlando too

Liz......this weekend? DH leaves tomorrow for 9 days.
Hmmm...maybe a movie. Don't know which one yet.

No news on DH's test yet. I think he will call and check otherwise....LONG wait!!

Todd, Luis made no mention of wanting to go to Chicago so I doubt he'll be going. I've brought it up to him twice and nothing. That's okay, I don't mind doing this alone

Okay after all this hyper talk of a bonus, I'll probably wind up with a pathetic one. I have no idea how much it could be. I used to get quartly bonuses that would add about $5K to my salary a year after taxes, but no idea what this will be.

Nancy, I hope you find decent air to LA and Ohare!!! Silly how much air varies for places isn't it? I hope that Dave hears soon about his tests... I would hate to wait any longer!
