My teens love cash or gift cards! Can you give him cash and hopefully he won't want those collector cards?

Tina - wow - you are now living in the windy city? Loss of power always freaks me out - it used to happen a lot back here - and we have an all electric house - so in the winter, the temps would really go down fast! Plus you couldn't cook, or use the toliet or wash your hands, etc. The electric company installed a back-up generator a few years ago - which really has helped big time!!

Just got home after a busy day here. Doc visit, work, now wash, dinner and finish up a work project. Oh yeah, I've got to pack it all up tonight for our gala weekend! And sleep somewhere so I can be sociable upon arrival. We've got our formal weekend at The Greenbrier. We must be on the road by 5:00 tomorrow morning latest in order to settle in for out 6 1/2 hour ride. Oh joy.

RM happy birthday to your DS. Good luck trying to figure out what to get. I know it's difficult when they don't want to help out. Take him shopping.

It's a go for arriving in Chicago early on Friday, now!! Bosses both said OK since they're going to New Zealand in March and leaving me all by my lonesome! Dave changed the ressies this morning--we now arrive right around 9AM!!
