No - I believe that you are talking about April 23-25 - and that's DS's 16th birthday!! (Is it Shep's, too??)

Amanda - both DH and I are independent - and DD also hangs out with EVERY group in school - she's on the dance line - but has friends who are goths, in the accelerated classes but has friends who really struggle..... I was the same way - hung out with anyone. DS is also that way.

DD also refuses to kiss butt - - she says if she can't earn it, she doesn't want it!!

Shep's bday is on the 25th. The 22nd is our 9th wedding anniversary, the 23rd is the anniversary of our first date. The 24th is my brother's birthday. That is just the beginning for our April. There are atleast 9 other dates in April that have 'events' with them.

Good morning, all!! Love, love, LOVE all the Chicago talk! DH and I are now thinking about changing our airline ressies so we can come in earlier on Fri and have more Ya Ya time. My goodness, I never imagined all of you would want to try to get together. I'm getting soooooo excited !!!

I had the independent DD, too. As long as they maintain that healthy respect for authority, it's great! Mine pushed her envelope and decided she knew better than her bosses so many times and has walked off of too many jobs to count! Hopefully, she will grow up someday--won't listen to mama, anymore, either

I've quickly skimmed the last page or two and I can add my two cents worth!!

Can't do Chicago in April. Trying to go to Pennsylvania to Hershey Park. We wanted to do Seasame Place but it does not begin its operating season until May boo hiss. Travel plans are no where near finalized yet. We may also take a trip to Natural Bridge for Easter. The 23 is also Jarrod's birthday, he will be 4!!

Liz...good luck with the job interview! There goes our nap schedule!! I could really use one today!

Beth - well - DD wants to earn her spot in the dance recital - earn her 4.0 GPA - but she is more than willing to let Mommy and Daddy feed, clothe, and indulge her....

Hi all . Quick check in while I eat my lunch, popcorn! Too nasty to go out and as usual I didn't bring a healthier choice. Plus I need to make up some time at lunch so I can get out of here at a reasonable hour. Traffic was really bad this a.m. due to the rain. Sure would hate to see what would happen if it snowed !

regardless if I get the job or not....yeah!!! The interview went alright and time will tell what becomes of it! This is by no way my dream job....but it may do until something better comes along. There are lots of networking opportunities though!!! I will be back later as I have some travel plans t make for Greg's brother, but it is not looking pretty!!!!Can't find a rental car for the weekend in Ft. Lauderdale!!! yikes!!!

Lily, not going to the Hershey Dis meet, we are going during my spring break. I don't want to go anywhere in June as Jarrod was six weeks early, I don't want to risk being away from my dr. if this one decides to come early!!

I am taking a small trip in May for my graduation. That will be my last trip pre Matilda...oh btw..keep your fingers crossed for a girl...I go in on Monday for my ultra sound.
