Nah, y'all just are both after Todd to do your nefarious bidding.

Karen--gotta love kids, always innocent.. :rolleyes1 ...gotta hate the cost of printer cartridges though.. :earseek: ..$100 printer seems to take $30 cartridges... :earseek:

Jeannie!! Where ya been hiding....guess married life agrees with you :rotfl:

Todd....feel your pain on reimbursement. We have an $800 bill sitting here waiting to get paid...and I'm not doing it until the money comes through. They can just pay the finance charges too!!

Elaine...how is the arm? I guess I lucked out, my shot didn't hurt at all. I have to go back in 3 weeks for another though and I hear this one is worse

Errands were fast. Just picked up Hallmark ornaments I ordered back at the first preview.
Halloween goodies for the kids in CA. Cinderella DVD.

Zooming through... my arm still hurts, so we are getting it icecream to help ;) Seriously yes it does hurt, Nancy, but I seem to be really sensitive to that. I also bleed like crazy with shots (usually need 2 bandaids when I get it done). Not sure why, but you should see the bruises I get from shots & blood withdrawls :p

That is an adorable picture, Sherry!

Todd  You want us to go cheeto them? ;)

Alan... what to do with you... :p

Jeannie!!!!! I love ya oodles and oodles!!!!

Im always on the lookout for good christian music.
Well it is only Third Day, so you can decide if it is good or not :teeth:
(presale on their website www.thirdday.com)

So in case I missed someone in my flyby... I'll be back later to catch up on all otehr things after I get me some ice cream :teeth:

Evening all,

Sorry no drive bys today. I checked in but didn't feel much like posting. No reason in particular...just not chatty.

I left work at 4, went to work out (lost 3 more pounds and another almost 3 inches!! I gotta change my countdown thingy!!), ran to the grocery store, cooked dinner (where's that scary face when you need it!), did homework with Jar, gave the kids a bath and now I'm exhausted! They on the other hand want me to sit down and build robots with legos...uh no thank you!!!

Then while I'm trying to read some moron from one of my credit cards (chase) calls to tell me of this great offer they are going to send me information on. I listen, then politely say "no thank you , you don't need to send me anything, I don't want it"..but little man with accent continues "but Ms. D don't you want blah blah blah blah..." To which i respond, "no" so he gets snippy and says "well Ms. D. if you let me explain blah blah" When he got to the part where he said he needed to verify my address I got snippy and said, "if you are going to force me to recieve information on something i don't want and that will end up costing me money then just close the DARN account I DON"T WANT IT!" he back peddled and told me that I didn't need to close my account and to have a nice evening. stupid moron! Have i mentioned I don't like morons?? (damn looking at this i sound like a real witch tonight)

Anyway, hugs to all. Maybe tomorrow i'll feel more like talking!! :)

tara

Hi Ya Yas!

Alan, I meant to say with the pics of you that you posted. What a difference! You look so much younger with those hairs gone.

Elaine, hope your arm is less sore by now. Icecream sounds like wonderful treatment.

Tara, CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NEW YOU! You are melting! I love your solution to the credit card call. I will have to try that. I usually let them ramble until the argumentative part. I can't take that.

Sherry, I love that picture. What a cute one.

Todd, hope you get it all resolved too. I hate it when companies take advantage of their employees as that. DH goes through this every now and then.

Yes, the bird is T-bird

It was such a lovely day here I got home and turned around to go out for my trek. I put in 5 miles and really enjoyed the time out there. I have tons to do, like paying of the bills. If I don't they won't let me live in the house for much longer. :earboy2:

My energy is quickly fading from me... ice cream helped, but my computer is acting funny so I am on my laptop. I need to look up some things, then I need sleep... being up since 3 is hitting pretty hard about now ;)

Tara, yay on the weight loss!! You are doing great!!! And nah, you sound about like me when I get people pushing me in ways I don't want them to. Some people just don't get the real meaning of "NO!"

LOL, Lily... i just liked the way you reasoned paying bills :) Glad you were able to enjoy the walk!

I think I am going to work on PMs and do some online research stuff for a while. Hopefully I can get through some real stuff before I zonk out. See y'all later!

Hi all.

Feel ya'lls pain about the reimbursement deal. Still waiting on some $$ from my first trip the end of Aug. But, they sure expect their $$$ back right away when they overpay per diem :rolleyes2

Sherry-Adorable little cutie!

Hey Karen, Yes I've heard lots about Fantasy Fest. Key West is definitely a very diversified place, LOl! Apparently there is one bar that clothing is optional :earseek: We joked about going there and I heard one of the guys did. Forgot to get the scoop on that today darn it!

Elaine-Isn't House suppose to be on tonight?

Hi Jeannie! :wave2:

Alan, very interesting smilies :teeth:

Ok gotta go make some ressies before it's last minute as usual :rolleyes1

Wow, 3 of ya'll sneaked in. Didn't realize it took me that long to type one post.
Elaine hope you get lots of rest in tonight. I'm about to hit it myself. Hoping to wake up on the RIGHT side of the bed tomorrow a.m. ;)

Hi Lily, the T-bird sounds like fun.. We have the yucky weather here right now. Darn hurricane season.

HI Tara, send that moron my way. I'm sure up for it tonight. I hate being nice, listening and then politely declining only for those morons to continue rambling on and on. Good job on the weight loss!

Ok now on to making those ressies.

:sad2: Can't get Pop Century for the dates I wanted :sad1: Don't want to stay at the All Stars. Boo Hoo. What to choose now? Tara-where you staying? I really really like Pop for some silly reason. Guess I will keep trying.

Ok, how come our post counts aren't changing? Something else I missed? I'll never get to 2000 this way

Good luck...RM. Don't you just hate when you can't get the place you want?
You can have some of my post count

Need to get dinner ready :wave2:

Elaine I just realized how that sounded when I reread what I wrote. I LOVE Third Day. Their music is WONDERFUL. Thank you so much for the link!

Tara CONGRATS on the weight and inches lost!!! WTG!!! Sorry you had to deal with that moron on the phone.

RM a clothing optional bar?? Too Funny!! I would love to hear what your friend has to say about it. It is a whole different world down there LOL!!

Elaine I hope you are able to get some sleep tonight and that your arm feels better.

Sherry I meant to tell you what an absolute cutie your nephew is!

Well I think Im gonna hit the hay. Sleep well everyone!

HUGS TO ALL!! :grouphug:

Looks like we will not be going to Disney for Thanksgiving. I stupidly let time get away from me and forgot to pay the deposit so our ressie was cancelled. Now I cant get in anywhere where dh, the kids, me, and the ECV will fit. We could get the All Stars but all of us in one room with an ECV would be impossible. Im glad I didnt tell the kids we were going. Ah well another time.

Hi everyone

I just figured I'd pop in and thank everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and concern the past couple of days. It's really been a crazy couple of days--it still hasn't hit me. The next two days will be the toughest--we have the wake this afternoon, and the funeral tomorrow.

We're all hanging in there. Yesterday was a very busy day. I wound up going into work for a few hours since it was so unexpected that I'd be out right now. Plus, it gave me a distraction. We had to run around to make the arrangements (the guy at the flower shop was a hoot--he was a very flamboyant gay guy who just was cracking tastful jokes, and when we were getting ready to leave, he gave each of us a flower). Last night, we all went over to my sister's house to make collages to hang in the funeral home.

I haven't decided it I am going to take my trip to Disneyland next week or not. My family is saying that I should go if I feel up to it. They say it might be good for me to escape for a bit.

Thanks again for your thoughts and concern everyone.

Karen

Good Morning! :)

 for you, JRKaren.

Thanks for all the nice comments on my nephew. :)

Karen, no, haven't really had much me time since DH got back. We've been too busy.

My SIL flew up from FL yesterday. She'll be here for a week. She'll probably be spending every morning over here, as SIL & BIL (where she is staying) both work in the morning, and I watch my nephew. :teeth:

 Karen

I bet the collages are really nice. That is something relatively new at funerals and a great idea.

I would suggest going to DL. My DH's Dad died quite suddenly (he was battling cancer and was given 5 years and died within 4 months). We had a business trip/vacation planned and his funeral ended up being 2 days beforehand. After much discussion, we decided to go ahead with our plans. We still were sad, but it was good to have the distraction.

Rose Mary, something happened here yesterday and we blanked on House. Don't ask... and dang it I would've loved to watched it! Got a good recap for me?
Do hope you are doing better today too

Karen, can't you arrange to leave the ECV in a lobby or something if needed? I've heard others doing that more for them recharging the ECV over night htan anything else though. Don't know your dates, but I know some have still found rooms at AKL around TG.

Sherry enjoy watching your nephew!!!!

:wave2: Hi Nancy!!!

JRKaren, I agree with Pam... I think you ought to go if you can! It is wonderful to have a great distraction like that after. I know I was glad I had a few after my mom died. I think it might just be waht you need :)

Good morning, Ya Ya family! Felt sooooo good to sleep in this morning--so nice to wake up naturally instead of when the alarm goes off! Gotta pay those bills, finish the laundry, iron the khakis, do a Wal Mart run and do SOMEthing about the mess we are living in at the moment. Working 2 jobs has NOT been good for keeping up my domestic goddess duties and the dust bunnies have become an entire city under the bed! I have a feeling I will be making a trip or two to the dumpster to get rid of some of this clutter that has just piled up and piled up. Hoping to find my dining room table under all the mail, coupons and bits of this and that

hug.gif
for ya, Karen. Glad the flower shop guy was such a hoot! It's one thing to offer sympathy and compassion, but some merchants are positively morbid. I'm in total agreement with Pam, too, about going ahead with your DL plans.

Rose Mary, I'm so sorry you weren't able to get what you wanted for WDW. We couldn't get it, either, when we tried 2 weeks ago! Just need our arrival night, we won't even be there for 12 hours, so we accepted AS-Mu. Figured all we need is bed and shower. Hope something opens up for you, soon! I've been told it works to just keep trying. Gotta say, too, that your story about the motorcycle guys had me just giggling!

Tara, I just KNEW there was less of you when I saw you walk in, Saturday!! Big congratulations for all your hard work! Soooo glad to hear the trip home was so much shorter and without incident, too. Let me tell you, everybody at the store is talking about you and asking when you'll be coming back! And it's NOT just because of the $$ you spent!!!

Jeannie-boo was here and I missed her!! Hope all is well with you and yours--hard to believe you've already celebrated your first anniversary!

That is really weird about the post counters.

So, how's the Cinderella DVD, Nancy? Didja have time to watch it yet? How's that costume coming? Gotta think about one for me now--I found out last night that we are dressing up at the store for Halloween. Not sure how they'd feel about me wearing my Renaissance outfit that gives me cleavage.

Oh, Sherry!! That pic of little Caleb was just sooooo precious with the teddy bear! He looks like he's growing well and looking healthy! Just wanna cuddle the little darling.

Speaking of little darlings, I saw "my" little princesses this weekend! Sunday was our church's 130th birthday and they had big doings all day. Our former choir director and family came up from Richmond for the festivities and had the girls with them. I was totally unprepared for the rush of emotion that hit me when I saw them and was grateful that it was crowded so I had time to mop up the tears before I got my turn to greet Sara and her DH. Little Elizabeth lost her first tooth Saturday night and spent most of the time holding her lower lip open to show everyone! She was just aglow and told me the Tooth Fairy left her 4 nickels!! It was just sooooo good to see them all again.

Almost forgot to mention, I had trouble believing that was Alan in the clean-shaven pic! But, the twinkle in his eyes gave him away. Good look for you, fella!

Well, I guess I best get busy or nothing is going to get done today. I think I've been "playing" here for over an hour now, and I really need to get myself in gear. Catch ya'll later! :grouphug:
