Evening, all!

The Red Lobster commercial made me do it-we had that for dinner tonight. I was too emotionally fried to cook dinner, nothing was defrosted and I kept seeing that commercial wherever I went.

Me the drama nut that I was remembered a line in one of my High School plays (can't remember which, drama program did six a year) "George, don't forget to wear your rubbers", I'm thinking it was in "You can't take it with you". Poor girl who had to say the line got teased ruthlessly about it.

Okay, I have proof Neil's regular teacher has a bias. All week, both SpEd teachers have been sending glowing emails about how well behaved he's been. One gave him a reward yesterday (see yesterday's post) and for her to do that, he must have been the model student. Neil's teacher today was saying he didn't do his classwork (but didn't send it home) and that he spit on students in the lunchroom. Whatever. I'm going to the principal next week and demanding a switch to a different teacher the first day of the next marking period. I purposely did NOT tell them about the med switch in case it didn't work-it's working and some of them are going out of their way to praise Neil.

Bethie, yikes, probably would have been better to make last week your ending with them! Are you able to take the time off in December, now that you're a retail manager? I sure hope so!

Ed worked a lot of hours this week, so he got taken off the schedule tomorrow. Yay, I don't have to scramble to get the kids to daycare at 6:30

gotta go pay a couple of bills. Check in tomorrow. If I don't have to go to Mom's, may be able to make Ed very happy and go see Kansas at Epcot.

I heard ya all the way over at the store tonight, Tara! Just couldn't get online to reply!! Shipment came in today and I think our buyer is really mixed up. We now have TONS of beach, spring and summer stuff! And the Doodlebug section is overflowing!! Anybody need any spring, summer, beach or Doodlebug embellishments? Our customers keep asking for more Halloween and Christmas stuff. Watch...that will show up in January.

Off to write up some directions for Tara! Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day at the office. Eric is springing for lunch for my last day, so I asked for Chinese

MIA me again. Oh, it has been a week for sure.
Prayers and whatever offerings you can send to my sweetheart neice Lee Ann. Diagnosed with Lymphoma this week. She has Lupus and the treatment for the lymphoma is going to be challenged with the lupus as a sidekick. We are quite miserable over it all just now. She goes to the doc tomorrow to determine the method of treatment.

JRKaren, won't be long for that trip. Are you packed?

Quick self-serving update here.

1. Got an e-mail from Scotty. He's doing well. Said they think the surgery went well. He said he's hoping that he will be back in time for the Jellyrolls meet in December So keep your fingers crossed.

2. My health problem that I was worried about is not resolved. I'm going on medication for a while, and hopefully that will solve things. If not, I may need to have some minor surgery.

3. Have fun with your scrapbooking weekend whoever is scrapbooking this weekend. It works out well that I'm not going. WebmasterKathy is coming to Boston for a business trip, so she's coming down a day early, and we're going to have some fun! Woofreakinghoo.

4. I leave for my Disneyland trip a week from Sunday. I can't believe that it's really here! It's going to be so much fun

5. There is no number five. I just felt like typing more.

Morning all... cool outside so we are huddled in bed. I might just relent and turn the heat on today.

Suzanne, that seems like quite a diffeence between the special ed teachers and his regular teacher. Is he in mainstream classes? Could be his teacher expects the world of students... I admire most teachers, but there are some bad apples out there.
