Thanks for that link Tara, I never would've seen it since I was busy trying to tell somoene for the 2nd time that their argument had nothing to do with the point I was making ;)

Howdy Alan! I do hope your lovely wife will be feeling much better soon! After all I have things I need to talk to her about and can't very well do it if her throat is hurting. We need to gossip about you after all :p

Nancy, appt isn't for another 1.5 hours. I might bike, shower then take her. She won't play with her catnip or anything else... I'll see what the vet says then.

I really do wish I coudl go... I've honestly always wanted to go there!!!!

ooh ooh elaine where is the one where you are trying to make a point? I'll go help you argue!!! Glad you found the link I left!! hehehe

 Lainey. I hope it's nothing serious with Cleo! :guilty:

Nancy- hope you find a buddy to go with you. I could send Gunny...... :dog2:

Tara - send me a double of whatever pick-me-up drink you're sipping on..... I can't get awake today.

Bethie!! Great news about the new job!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Paula, glad to hear that you are starting to feel better. I hope the school year goes smoother for Chris! :guilty: DS is having a good year so far, although he's grumbling about all the homework from the AP classes. Plus he's now the Lodge Chief of the OA, on the JV Golf Team, and has regular Scouts, Church, etc.

Is Alyssa settling into college life? I think it's harder for the girls. I know DD still calls at least once a day, and she comes home practically every weekend! :)

Here ya go Tara Silly thread

Now keep in mind, this is where the more "liberal" side of me steps out. I'm a weird mix of slightly conservative Christian and open Liberal. Clashes now and then.

I don't mind debating... I just want real arguments brought to me :p

Well, Cleo is sick

She's lost 2.5 pounds since we took her in mid-June. It's liver trouble and nothing the vet said sounded good.

We'll have more answers tomorrow maybe after the blood tests come back :sad1:

:( Oh Elaine I'm so sorry to hear about little Cleo!! :(

Life is too crazy these days. So many things to do, remember, keep up with, organize, clean, pay for, blah blah blah. Ack. :crazy2: I have a headache I can't shake and it's really starting to tick me off.

Also can't stop by without saying YAY to Beth for the promotion, and thinking good thoughts for Paula regarding her job situation. I hope things smooth out for you soon Paula.

Snickering at Taz and Dennis references... :p

Have to go check out the whining and silly threads, because I need something fun to do right now because (or... as Cam used to say... KEEBUZ) I'm stalling keebuzz I don't want to pay bills keebuz they suck.

Hugs for Cleo and for Elaine.

Elaine...lots of hugs to you and Cleo. I hope thing work out!

AA...hope Mrs. AA feels better soon too!

going to go watch some tv and pay bills!

tara

Back from choir... we started singing Christmas Carols :scared:

Thanks guys... I knew some day I'd be feeling these things... I just wasn't ready for it. I hoped to have her for at least 2-3 more years... maybe 5 or more if I was lucky.

Anywhoo...

Kimmie, glad to hear you are back among the "living" and survived it all!!

Whatcha watching Tara?

I'm going to watch something (maybe) on TV myself and cuddle my kitties and hubby :)

A 15month old maniac running around the room throwing himself on top of my body!! That boy is crazy tonight. He has learned to blow raspberries on my back (actually once he did it to my rump! That got me almost hysterical!! :rotfl:

Okay, going to bed as soon as I get the kids to bed! Gotta hit Curves tomorrow. I tell you what, by the time this year is up I sure as heck better have a body like a supermodel....6 feet tall, 100lbs, and someone to do my make up and clean the house!!! hehehe :rotfl:

see you all in the morning!
tara

Evening, all.

I will say, once again, that I really like working close to home :)! I got out about a half hour late, but still was early enough for dinner!

My younger sister booked a flight-she'll be down for 5 days in two weeks. I've got good siblings, they want to make sure I don't get burned out. I'm going to tease her about actually wanting to house hunt w/o the DH! Not going to happen, but it's fun to give her a hard time.

Mom's PET scan went well, the bronchioscopy is tomorrow morning-and mom thinks that I'm not going to be there when she gets out of it. Wrong. Stubborn is my middle name!

Lainey, I'm hoping that the blood work for Cleo brings better news. Hope you're giving her lots of snuggles.

Alan, hope Mrs.AA is feeling better soon.

Nancy, bummer that you're not handing out these names, because I want someone who's in this one, lol.

Pam, you post coveter, you! Go start posting on the b'day wishes and congrats boards, you can ctrl-c then ctrl-v all your replies. Don't forget about the blasted 40 second rule. A week of birthday wish duty and you'll be at 10k :teeth:

Tara, I'd like a 44 oz espresso, too. Probably will need one in the am with going in at 7am. Now that Ed works, that means I'm up at 5:30 and I don't like that! It's how my Fridays will be until we get a freight manager.

Well, I want a soak in the tub with my junk food for the brain people magazine. Ketchup with y'all later!

Ya know, I really thought about doing that!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: But -- I'm too lazy to have to wade through all of those posts! :rotfl: Besides, I am owed my lost posts!!

PD to your Mom.

Lainey, I am so sorry about Cleo! Sending plenty of :goodvibes to the darlin'.

Tara - I miss the goofy times with my kids! When they are that age, they just think you are the cat's meow! The smartest, prettiest, sweetest person on earth! That lasts until about 1st grade!

Hi all,

Elaine - hugs and prayers for you and Cleo....

Pam - Alyssa is very homesick - hasn't come home yet - 2 1/2 hrs is just a bit too far - she is taking the bus (a first for her) to see her boyfriend this weekend - I won't see her till Oct 1. Thank god for IM - we talk alot.
thanks for the kind words and thoughts for Chris - today was another bad day for him - went to school - came home with chest pains - that's definitely anxiety induced - he has a doctors appt on Monday. He just goes to school and works - does not want to be involved with anything at school.

Tara - I'll say it too - savor every moment - they get too big too fast.

My day went well - I'm just a little stiff - crampy too so I had ice cream for supper!!

Alan - quick recovery wishes to Mrs AA.

Night all!!

Oh, Elaine  I hope everything goes well for Cleo.

Trip is postponed for a couple of weeks. :(

Hello all! Happy Friday!

Sorry I've been MIA lately. Busy busy busy again. Craziness, I'll tell ya. My life is just one big crazy moment after another. Egads.

My Disneyland trip is three weeks from Sunday! I can't wait! I'm ready to leave now. :) I got my Fantasmic Dessert Buffet, and I booked two tours--A Walk In Walt's Footsteps and Imagination to Celebration! I can't wait! Woofreakinghoo!

Also, since some folks have asked about Scotty, he's still out of work :( I heard from him yesterday, and he is going to be having surgery next week. So if you all could spare more prayers for him, I'd appreciate it and I'm sure he would too.

Well, sorry for this EIEIO post. Take care everyone!

JellyrollsKaren

Paula,
Does RI have Cyber School? Could you get Chris enrolled in that?

Nancy- Sorry you had to postpone your trip. :guilty:

JRKaren - WooFreakinHoo!  Sounds like you are gonna have a blast! My husband isn't going on this trip, right?????

:wizard: to Scotty! Hope the surgery goes well!

My Dad is coming down to power wash the house today. DH is out of town and is fretting that he's not going to be here. (I think my Dad set it up this way - they both like to be the Boss in situations like this! :rotfl: )

Anyone else wish they could be a fly on her wall to see this?? That does sound funny & silly. Good luck ;)

Suzanne, hope all goes well for your mom today! And yes, sounds like you have good siblings! I hope you enjoy the time with her while seh is here though!

What, you aren't the cat's meow and all that now???

Nancy, I am so sorry you had to postpone the trip :(

Paula, I do hope that things improve for Alyssa at school! It does get hard for many to be away. I hope her weekend with her BF will do her good. And :goodvibes: to Christopher... I hope you can get his anxiety under control :)

Karen, have a blast at DL! I liked the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour :)

Pam, good luck to your dad while power washing... tell him to watch out for his toes :p

Been up off and on since 3 am when a storm blew through. Cuddled the babies though. Feeling a little better today. I am trying to be hopeful, but honestly I just am not ready yet... though Luis said to me "you'll never be" He has a good point. If we are lucky, we'll just have to keep giving her meds and try to fatten her up (meaning we give her anything and everything she would want to eat!) Then see what we get. I just hope it isn't cancer

Good morning gang,

Glad you all could enjoy the visions of this crazy child!! He really had me tickled last night.

I meant to tell you all this story the other day and I forgot (at least I think I did, so if I've already told ya then just skim over it :teeth: )

Jarrod and I went to run errands the other night and he deicded he wanted to ride in the cart. So while we were shopping he was telling me about this girl who wants him to come to her house to play. (my kid is already being hit on by these little floozies!) So I asked him "What's her name?" He was thoughtful for a minute and then told me he didn't know her name, he didn't ask her. So I told him, "Son, the first rule of life is to Know A Girl's Name BEFORE you go home with her!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: I figured his dad isn't here all the time to give him this advice so I would help him out!!!

Okay, I have now wasted the first 20 minutes of getting to work early to visit my yayayas.

I'll stop back by later!!
tara

Morning All,

Wicked busy week so I havent been around much. Today is my day off and I had three things I had to do. Well I paired it down to one because I need a break from running around. Fast forward to this morning and I talk to one of eldest ds's teachers about some missing work and she says.....You know the Carribean Feast is today and we would REALLY like you to come and help us out. Now how can I say no to the teacher. So I have to run up there this afternoon. And I now have two things I have to do today.

Elaine I am so sorry to hear about Cleo. My thoughts and prayers are with you and her.

Karen congrats on getting everything you wanted for the trip to DL. I will say prayers for Scotty that everything comes out alright.

Paula Im glad things seem a little better with work and that you are feeling better. I hope Alyssa seeing Ryan this weekend will help make her feel better about being away at school.

CONGRATULATIONS BETH!

Did anyone read the missing underwear thread? Very funny stuff.

Tara sounds like you had a blast with your little one last night. Is he really 15 months old already???? Seems like he was just born!! Acccck time is flying by too fast.

Speaking of time flying by too fast I had better get started on cleaning the house because I have an appt at 10:30 and I would like to have it done. I will checking laters.

HUGS TO ALL!!! :grouphug:

:wave2:

You'll have a great time, JRKaren ::yes: I really like a Walk in Walt's Footsteps also. Did that one twice.
Best wishes to Scotty.

Elaine....I think they only time we are ready is when our babies begin to suffer
Very hard thing to go through.
I hope it turns out to be something easily treatable.
I've had 3 that have had dramatic weight loss. One is still here and fat and sassy :)

Going to spend the day with Christin since plans changed. Movie, lunch and whatever else we can think of.
