Brings up a huge argument everytime. He blames me for all the trouble with us. I wish he'd just simply stand up for me and my feelings instead of always taking their side.

Beth - I am so happy for you - many many congrats!! I must admit I spent many satisfied years working in the retail world - several of them for Waldenbooks. Lately I dread my job - which stinks because I used to really like it - moral is down and that makes it even worse. My plan is to get credit cards paid off (hence my worries) and start fresh in the new year!!

no time to ketchup on the last 2 or 3 posts. but wanted to update...My gf in OBX called me and told me that her mom came up to her place in North Eastern NC to spend the storm. Whew! I can rest knowing that Mama Tandy is safe and sound.

Off to go home and clean up before our interview comes over tonight!!

I really love my mom, because I braved Tampa traffic to get to her today. She's in pain and apologizing for being in pain. Back over on Friday and saturday.

I think Luis and I are still going to drive to DC... though I am not sure which weekend we will pick. If I go I can only say hi to y'all briefly. And I need to try to work in a visit with my beloved friend, Marc. I wish we were going for longer (did I really say that?????)

Tara, I am so glad that they will be safe. I hope they when they return, they will be pleasantly suprised with all they see

Paula, I do hope you can start fresh in the new year! Leaving my hell hole was the best hing I ever did!

Suzanne, I hope your mom is feeling better soon. Must be hard for her, but you are sweet to help as much as you do!

Paula, I know exactly what you mean about having loved your job and now you dread it!! That is exactly how I feel right now about working for the boy genius! It's so nice when he's not around, but I just dread the days when he's in the office. A hostile atmosphere (or any negative atmosphere, for that matter) is not conducive to anyone succeeding at what they are doing. Lots of hugs (gentle ones) going out to you with plenty of prayers and PD that you'll make it thru to the new year and all will be well.

Suzanne, you are SUCH a good daughter!! What kind of die cuts do you want? I think I need to pick your brain on how to be the best ASM in the business--which IS, of course, my goal!! I am still shaking my head in disbelief that over all the people she interviewed over the last 5 months(who had a LOT more experience) and over all the other people who work in the store (who would also like to go FT), the manager wanted ME. Oh, and I've been on a PB & J kick for the last month or so, can I come over for breakfast?

Evening, all.

We decided to go have dinner at one of the local places in the entertainment book-and I got a really good burger. Woohoo. I'm always happy with a good, fresh formed burger with extra sharp cheddar and bacon. Oh yeah, lots of onions!

Bethie, you'd love it here...we give you a choice of jellies...peach butter, apple butter, cherry jelly, strawberry jam, grape. I had to get the apple butter, it was White House. Made me miss my old farmhouse up in Hancock, because right about now I'd be going across the road and picking enough winesaps to make tons of apple butter. 2000 acres of unworked apple orchards-good in the fall, murder in the spring!

I'm looking for Disney die cuts, which Jill told me you can't find. However, I'm thinking I will probably get some disney papers and print my motivational words on vellum and overlay them. This way I can change stuff out as the mood strikes. Gotta get some more edgers for that...and the other character punches. I just KNEW this would happen if I started with scrapping stuff!

Talked to mom-adhesive from the duragesic patch is staying put for now-and she sounds much better. PET scan in the morning, so she's understandibly nervous. I'd go, but she's insistent that I go work. However, I'm going with her on Friday whether she wants me to or not! Someone has to take notes-today just proved to me that she and Bill are getting overloaded with information. when you're getting that much thrown at you, it is easy to miss something that is important. So I am the self appointed stenographer.

Nancy, See's is evil-they sent me a catalog today. It had a card in it to do fund raising-and I'm going to be more evil and bring it to the PTA president!

Got some research to do and gotta grab stuff off the shared network drive-Ed found my old resume. It needs to be saved onto the laptop.

Hey gang,
Mom had an interview for some new day care kids. So i got to babysit the little girl while mom and her mom talked. It went well, she said we are in the top 3! I hope we get these kids. It will make our financial situation soooo much better!

Going to hit the hay now. I've had my shower, my clothes are ready and tomorrow morning I'm gonna hit the gym at 6 and then go to work from there. So i can get some work done in peace and quiet!!

Suzanne...good luck to your momma!! Good thoughts coming your way!

Not to be a downer but I just made an appointment for my cat, Cleo. She just hasn't been herself at all the last couple of days. Not playing, not wolfing down special food or treats. She's even hiding in a place I've never seen her do before. Just send a little PD that the vet won't find anything bad please?

tara stumbles in bleary eyd I got the bright idea last night to go to the gym and then come to work so I could get an extra hour of work in this morning. That was great until Jar woke me up at 4 b/c he didn't want to sleep alone! Then I didn't get back to sleep for a while. When the alarm went off I really didn't want to get up, but I did. I was fine while I was working out, but now I'm about to fall over dead asleep!! ugh! I think this 44 oz diet coke may need to become a 44 oz espresso soon or i'll be sleeping though my classes!!

Gotta go do my hall duty. I'll check back later today!

Hi all...

I had a good chat with my "superior" this morning and am trying to stay positive - my annual review will be after I return from vaca.

I actually slept pretty well last night too - maybe having a "plan" is easing my mine.

Oh yes- and I was able to way down the drive way and back to get the mail yesterday - I'd say it's about 300 ft - so that was a mahjor accomplishment too.

Chris went to school today - he just "chilled" with me yestrday - we watched "Guess Who" and I indulged his passion for cars - checking out everything he wanted to show me as he surfed the web.

Elaine - saying a prayer that Cleo is back to her old self soon.
Nancy - don't know about you but I'd rather be tired from shopping than from working - haha
