Hopefully they will not walk (apparently it would be suicide for them if they did)

It certainly would if they were in the middle of a flight

I'm sure it will work out for y'all.

Mrs. AA is home safely! :bounce: And Pilot is quite puppyish too :teeth:
Unfortunately, Mrs. AA twisted her ankle Friday and is now under doctor's orders to keep ice on it, keep off of it, and use a support cane when she walks.

Great photos of your children, John! :)

Elaine & Beth - We're getting the weird weather here, too. Last night at 11:00 pm it was 67 degrees, now it's 50, and it's supposed to be 40 by 4 pm. They're saying that we will have an 1" of snow on the ground by tomorrow morning. :guilty:

We trade cars with DD tonight! :Pinkbounc (I just hope I have a car left and that it hasn't been stripped down.....)

Nancy - DD also does most of the gift wrapping for me. Good thing she's not coming home this weekend - I threw all of those packages and boxes in her room! :rotfl:

Kimmy - oooohhhh Olympics! Me Kippy, me Kippy!!

Boo Boo - why do you always come out to play when I'm not around??

Alan! Yay!! Mrs. A is home! :cheer2: Tell her to keep that ankle elevated!!

Paula - hope both your work and Chris meetings go well!! :grouphug:

Ohhhh, and Beth - Pony is now out of the car trunk and hiding in the computer/playroom!! ;)

Wow - Suzanne and Tara -- you guys are certainly busy!! Oh and Suzanne - I can definitely see you as a Den Mom!! :teeth:

Wait... I missed something!!!! I don't remember Jay's pic... someone want to refresh my memory there?

I have to run an errand to the doctor... guess I forgot to sign something with the blood work they did not too long ago.

Paula, good luck today with the meeting! I do hope all goes well. and for tomorrow too... maybe that will help break the ice between your DH and Chris.

Bethie, enjoy the plummeting temps... it's already colder now than it was this morning when I woke up. A bit windy today as well, but I suppose we'll survive

John, good call on the day for leaving! I bet she appreciates you being around for her 16th ;)

Curling? Kimmie you're a nut!

Alan, you're a twit!

Why do I surround myself with people like you :p

Pam, good luck with the snow... not sure how much we are supposed to get here... I just hope it doesn't stay!

I can't tell because she is still giving me heck for not being there for her 12th. You-know-where hath no fury like a woman scorned. Or a disappointed daughter. I hope she gets over it someday. :)

No time to do proper ketchup but thought I would regal you all with the story du jour!!

So I'm working on my computer at school and I'm very focused on my task at hand. Then I realize that it is about lunch time. So I absent mindedly took my left over sweet and sour chicken out of the container, stuck it on a plate, poped it in the microwave, and set the time. Then I turned back to my computer and began working again. I heard the beep and turned around to see smoke pouring from my microwave!! I hollered an unacceptable word and opened the machine. Smoke billowed forth causing me the feeling that I would be responsible for the next fire alarm!! I grabbed my plate out of the oven and tossed the chicken out the window...it seems that the grease that cooked out of it caused it to burn and smoke. I quickly grabbed my fan and started trying to blow the smoke out of the room in the hopes that the fire alarm would not be triggered...or worse yet...the sprinklers on 6 brand new computers!!

I finally got the smoke out, without the fire alarm going off, I spritzed some bubble gum flavored air freshner around the room and put the fan on it to move it through the air....alas the room only smells faintly of burned food with a hint of bubble gum!! I sit here hungry b/c that was all I had for lunch today!!

Oh well, as I told the girl I share the room with...this is why I never cook!! lol!!

okay, back to your regular dising!!

K, I missed these before... Me Kippy? :rotfl:

And she comes when you aren't around because she's askeered of you ;)

Tara  Sorry about your lunch, but I do have a question... bubble gum flavored air freshener?

I did my dumb move of my life. Probably jinxed myself this morning with something I said...
Well I was getting into the car after going to Target for a little exchange shopping... when I had sat down on my seat... one leg was still out as I was reaching to put my bag on my drivers side door when a huge wind gust game... slammed the door on my ankle. Hurts like crazy!!!!!

Stupid wind and stupid me for not realizing how windy it was

Hi all Yayas.

I want-no, need-to do the kitchen, too and I unfortunately do have an idea what they cost. We're usually putting in super high-end kitchens for our residential clients-the numbers are NOT pretty. And any day now the boomobile will drop dead and I'm going to have to buy a new car-oh I'm going to have to send Santa new list! :cheer2:

No no no... Jeannie, that's the wrong hottie... that's not a hottie at all...

just one Kimmie drools over :p

I will ask my brother how much theirs cost... they redid everything and did get some nicer appliances but nothing outlandish.

Had a heck of a time getting this to post...

Hi Ya Yas!
My Teddy is home! He came home in time for supper yesterday!
:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
TC, pics are great. Wonderful babies you and Sue have.

I'm still not feeling well with my back. Can't find my spot. Need to look for a comfy way to prop myself.

Well, Elaine...not sure if you showered or not...all I can smell is burned sweet and sour chicken :teeth: !!!!

Welcome home Ted!!

Sorry Mrs. AA messed up her ankle.

Great Pictures of James and Sarah.

We loved Cheesburger in Paradise...their Onion Six Strings were tasty!! and their Chocolate Nachos were to die for.

I thought about the JB greatest hits for E, but then wondered how I would explain "Let's get drunk and ...." figured that wouldn't be an easy one to explain!!

Got my yaya tshrit!! love it!!

gonna look aroudn the cb for a bit and then head to bed!!

Quiet day here.

Tara....glad you got good food after no lunch :rotfl: Sorry, that just hit me funny....but if I had no lunch, I would be grumpy.

:bounce: Ted is home.

A couple of you need to get surveys back to me ;) Don't forget....by Tuesday at least.

:wave2:

Elaine :wave2: Amazon is scaring me :( Order I just placed is saying nothing will arrive by Christmas  It better be a mistake. Hope I get an answer from them soon.

Yay!!! Welcome home Ted!!!!! Enjoy your time together again, Lily :)

Tara, you are cracking me up! I wonder if the place you were talking about is the same one by where Luis works. Hmm.......

Pooh on Amazon!!! I wonder if I will have to do Think Geek.com for my brother & SIL then. I still haven't decided what to do for them for Christmas. Hard to do when you ship the gifts. Maybe send them a g/c for amazon!

Been a good girl and mostly stayed off my ankle. Ignored the house stuff, but hopefully if I let this go for a day at most, it will be fine and won't give me trouble next week. I'm having enough trouble as it is with some aches.

Knitted some... realized I didn't like the needles I was using and will probably have to go buy new ones in a different size. I also want to pick up more chenille... my sister requested a scarf as a joke... I figure I can whip up one for her before I even go to WDW as a thank you for watching the kitties & house in general while gone :)

Hi all!

Yet another busy day. I stayed up waaaaaaay too late finishing Night Fall (now my second favorite DeMille), then I scrambled home from work for the scout meeting.

Ends up it was to start a new Pack. figuring since we're new to the area, it'd probably make more sense to join an already established Pack. It figures that it would be new-I'm true Type A and would want to do everything.

Suzanne

Good morning, everyone!

Saving this from page 3!

My life is busy, busy, busy as usual. I'm going to the Bruins game tonight after work. Haven't been to a hockey game in a looooooong time.

Catch ya later.

JellyrollsKaren

Morning all! Where have y'all been? Or have you had the same trouble I had yesterday getting this place to work? :(

But I plan on moving... possibly today if the boards aren't too slow. I admit I wnated to last week, but every time I sat down with time to do it all, couldn't get through

Suzanne, are you going to try the new pack or just keep looking for an older one?

Hope you have fun tonight, Karen!

Elaine,
I've had trouble getting on the site -- and I've had trouble finding threads, not only this one.... :confused3

Honor Society Induction Ceremony was nice last night -- we din't get home until 10:30 pm, though. It was a 10-15 minute walk from DD's apartment to the hall - and it was already very windy and around 32 degrees. :cold:

Just took the dog outside and the snowflakes have started to fall. We're supposed to have around 1" of snow today and the temps only in the 20s. :guilty:

Got DS's skis picked up last night! Now I just need to get a shop vac for my hubby and some odds and ends for stockings and I am done! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Huh, guess I am "glad" that I am not the only one then! If it seems to stay normal today I will gladly move us :)

Similar yuck weather today here too... though not sure how much snow we are going to get. Not much to make a difference no matter what I am sure.

ankle is sore... a bit more stiff than yesterday actually

You are putting me to shame now Pam!!!! I suppose I had better get moving on the presents again

Glad my lunch story gave everyone a laugh! I sure did!!

Luckily I didn't have to bring anything today because I get to eat at Jar's cafeteria for lunch  . I work in a school so I know how the food is...and I know the money I paid for his is going to go to waste because he will not eat. Oh well, it will be a bondign experience!! It will also give me a chance to see some of the other kids in his class.

You all who are done with your shopping are killing me! I have so far picked up a couple of books and some pjs for Jarrod, a drum set for ethan (what in the world was I thinking??? ), some books for my neice, a Jeff Foxworthy dictionary for my redneck uncle, a Martini set for Astrid, and that's it. Oh, I do have some things for my gf Colleen. I am going shopping for my exchange stuff this weekend! :Pinkbounc

I haven't had any trouble getting on here lately, but then again I've had to actually work recently and that is killing my dis time. My students are all currently invovled in their indpendent reading or are working on the computer indpendently. The only sound you can hear is the clicking of the mouse and the typing. It is a wonderful sound!! This class is one of my best. I do have one problem kid but he has improved in the last week. In fact yesterday evening he saw me as we were all leaving after school tutoring and from across the hall he yells, "Ms. D" and comes running over to give me a hug! It was teh funniest thing....you see in the morning I am the AntiChrist for him!! :rotfl: I guess you really do appreciate peopel more when they are leaving!!

Yes, Elaine....get your butt in gear and get us a new home! I'm already planning my DL trip so might as well move there now! (as slow as we are aroudn here any more we may still be here in summer of '07!!! :rotfl: )

Gonna go look like I'm doing real work!!

tara

Tara, enjoy the lunch with Jarrod! I'm not totally done with shopping yet. I have grandparents that I wait to order something in December for them. Since that ships directly to them, I wait. Same with my brother & SIL. If I ship I decide what I want long befoe, but wait to send it

btw, have you guys seen the new decongestants they have out with out the psuedoephedrine? I just tried them (too lazy to go to the pharmacy window) and they work great! Much better than the other stuff, and I only need one pill instead of two! Maybe a good relief for me with allergies :)
