Good morning.....no trouble getting on here (but last time I said that it started and lasted most of the day).

Christin is coming this morning to start wrapping presents. I see a Christmas movie or 2 in my future :teeth:

My shopping is almost done. A bit more for Geoff and Dave....men!! I need some ideas...they aren't helping. All I hear, is "I'm thinking about it".
Amazon returned my e-mail and said my things are shipping sooner than expected ;)
Maybe they thought they could hold off on some if the person didn't care

Elaine, hope that ankle feels better fast. You have a lot of walking coming your way.
:bounce: Yay for exchange shopping, Tara.....and not burning your lunch, but dealing with school lunch  That can be scary too.
Congrats to DD for Honor Society, Pam.
Have fun at the game, Karen.
Suzanne....great about scouts. Very fun......but it does suck the adults in, so beware!! Dave still volunteers and Geoff is 26!!

Reposting exchange info again.....only one more time ;)

Holiday Exchange time!!

This year we will be having a Christmas present exchange.
This can be one larger present or multiple smaller ones.
They are to be wrapped....but they can be opened when they are received. :teeth: We don't have to wait until Christmas.
And of course, you can always put in some extra things that aren't really presents.
MINIMUM is $20.

I will be taking names until 11-23.
Mail by date will be 12-5 (to accommodate those going to WDW).
Send me a PM if you want to play this year. I will then send you back a survey that will help your sistah or bother shop for you.
Names will go out the 23 ......or when all the surveys get back to me ;)

Speaking of losing one's appetite...Kim, I DON'T have the time to put an APB on that PIC-doggone it! But since Lainey smashed her ankle this morning here's a pic that might make her feel -umm, BETTER and that you'll enjoy , too:
Losing one's appetite... gasp and PAH!! Nuh uh! :teeth: Yay! Boo is back! Ya gotta love it!! Ah the red satin pj pic, heh heh... a beautiful old classic. :lovestruc Have seen quite a few new ones lately. Interesting. :p

Hey Elaine, did he make your ankle feel better? ;)

Speaking of Kippy...

The thrill of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games returns to Salt Lake City, Utah Nov. 18-20, 2005. The Utah Olympic Oval will host over 275 of the world’s best speed skaters in the Essent ISU World Cup Speed Skating event as a preview to the 2006 Games.

The Utah Olympic Oval is recognized as The Fastest Ice on Earth and a record number of athletes are expected to participate in this competition with hopes of qualifying for the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy. Expected Olympic participants include: Olympic gold medalist Chris Witty, Olympic gold and silver medalist Derek Parra, Olympic bronze medalists Joey Cheek and Kip Carpenter, and world record holder Chad Hedrick.

Tickets are $5 per day for adults, $3 for children 12 and under (2 and under are free) and seniors 65 and older. All tickets are general admission.

Friday, November 18 is FREE Friday! That’s right, free admission on Friday to see the afternoon’s competitions!

Tickets can be purchased in the following four ways:

Burned bubble gum! Mmmmm! Just like Mom used to make! LOL! You're funny Tara. :p

Speaking of kitchens... Boo, the prices are astounding aren't they? We're talking a very basic kitchen on the small side at that and at first glance we were up to approx 14k sans new appliances. Oh yay. :crazy2:

Amazon!!! What the?!? My list is still sitting in Wish list land! Gack!!! After Christmas?! NOOOO!!! OMG! :earseek:

Ted is home!! :Pinkbounc

(Shoo-Jay had that GREAT picture -the one where the hamhocks are trying to mount over that divider... )
Snerksnork! :teeth:

Elaine, I think this is the picture that Boo was referring to. How could you forget the ever popular GRACE pic! The BUTT of oh so many grade A YaYa jokes! :p

Okay, played heck with YaYa land enough for one morning. Back to your regularly scheduled YaYaing. I am taxi mom again today, off to shower, dress and drive drive drive...

 Just went shopping at Disney. Maybe I should unsubscribe, so I don't know when sales are going on ;)
Got a couple more Halloween costumes and a bunch of other stuff.

I need to get moving away from this computer.
Later :wave2:

Hi Ya Yas!

Butt pic! Me, I was looking at the very defined calf muscles there! :p
I do love to enjoy muscle definition without the bulk of the body builder. Thank you for your fine pictorial display!

Nancy, maybe if you shop for the Halloween costumes there, you won't get "stuck" making the marvelous display you made this year.

Tara, love your stories. Sorry if you don't totally enjoy all of the experiences though.

Suzanne, you go with the Scout thing. It is a fun and time consuming thing. Maybe Ed should be "the one" and you can have "spa day" when they have manly bonding at Scouts!

Alan, how's the Mrs? Hope Pilot is being a good and patient girl, not forgetting all the work they did.

Hi to everyone else...

Wanted to stop in and say good morning, but it's already afternoon here!! Got today off, but have soooooo much to do. Will try and ketchup later, leaving a :grouphug: for now!

Ta Ta!!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: OMG!! His GRAAACE! OK, first things first-

Elaine :wave2: Amazon is scaring me :( Order I just placed is saying nothing will arrive by Christmas  It better be a mistake. Hope I get an answer from them soon.
Is thattrue?? I wanted to buy some book gifts through them but maybe I'd better go to a real store? :faint:

my sister requested a scarf as a joke... I figure I can whip up one for her before I even go to WDW
Well, elaine-as betty once recommended to me-a HAIR SCRUNCHIE is just as good as a scarf when pressed for time! :rolleyes1 glad ankle is better!

Aah Pam-DD has mom's looks AND brains. :cheer2: Now if she has your roadkiller insitnct too-ugh, i'm going to have to HATE her.;)

The BUTT of oh so many grade A YaYa jokes!
Grade A??? Ya know-I had no idea they graded the humble HAMhock the way they might grade a cut of PRIME BEEF. Hmm-learn something new everyday!:) Thank you for the picture Kim-it is an AWESOME sight to behold! :bitelip: Oh Kim-$14K w/o appliances-yeah-and the way you go through stoves....remember Thanksgiving about 3 years ago? :(:

m0156415.jpg

maybe they sell ovens in 10-packs? :teeth: ;)

I must move away from computer, too!:wave2:

Had lunch with Jar...oh boy was it good  ...I don't think there is a grain of salt left in their pantry. Their gravy was water with salt and turkey pieces...blech...I choked it down to show Jarrod how "good" it was!! He, however, chose to eat 3 bites of his potatoes and then eat a fruit roll up he bought in the line.

Now i have to say the fruit roll up was funny...he was very nice and was sharring it with a friend. I did, however, have to stop him from sharing when he took a bite off of it and then handed it to his friend!! :rotfl: The kid took it and started to take a bite and I had to stop him!! They didn't quite get why they couldn't share it!!

...so now ketchup...
butt pics of some funny looking guy...oh, okay, whatever floats your boat!! hehehe

haven't seen the new sudafed free stuff...might have to try that. I'm thinking about bathing Ethan in Sudafed...if this running doesn't stop soon!!

wonderful on our honor society children...it brings a tear to the old eye to know our children are growing up (but as I said to a friend at Jarrod's school..they are aging...not us!!)

I'd like to get Jarrod into scouts but i'm not sure he would be willing to do it!! tho, he is showing success in school so maybe next year he'll want to do it!

Having dinner with an old TDS friend tonight. I called her and told that since we both seemed to lack in the life department we should get together for dinner. So we are meeting tonight!! woohoo!!

gotta go and knock some heads around!! back later!

:rotfl: :rotfl: Oh man -I just love how sweet and diplomatic tara is! Yes-hmm-'funny looking'-ask Elaine if she thinks that's an understatement.::yes::

On the other hand your boys are looking super-duper handsome! :wizard:

ok-now I mUST go!!! :moped:

okay let me ketchup here now...

First of all, mint chocolate kit kats are evil!

Secondly, I did wind up going to the doctor's. No fracture, but badly bruised the bone. Accounts for the bumps/indentations and loss of feeling in the little toe. So I'll be good for WDW :teeth:

Nancy, I am glad you are getting your order! That would've sucked otherwise! Have fun wrapping!
Now stay off the Dinsey site :p

Kimmie, no he didn't make my ankle feel better, but I will be nice to it for a while. And *that* pic of him! I forgot that one. Must have been a reason why I blocked it from my brain :p

Lily, any good stories from Ted after his trip? I imagine he saw quite a lot down there :(

:wave2: Hi Bethie!

Jeannie
And no, I should be able to get a nice scarf out in time for my sister's birthday. I didn't take much time at all... plus a real Ya Ya can knit... or I think... who knows or cares :p

Tara, I knew there was a reason why I liked you :teeth: Sorry that the meal was less than desirable ;)

:rotfl:

Nice one John!

I'm just so glad we won't have to do Gimp Around the World! :teeth:

I like that thought....

can we use Segway's for that! Even gimpy me can use one of those w/o any trouble!!!!

Actually that might not be a bad idea... ankle should be good by then, but I am supposed to take it easy for a while :scratchin

:wave2: All my packages that need to be mailed off (not G&M ;) ) are wrapped and boxed and ready to go.
Christin got all hers wrapped that she has so far...I do think she is almost done.

And I got several e-mails from Amazon....do e-mail if you get that message this early ::yes:: They sped up my order (I did the free shipping one) and it has already shipped :rotfl:

Glad the ankle isn't broken Elaine....sore and bruised is more than enough.

evening all...back from dinner, it was very good...garlic, parmesan mashed potatoes!!!

Oh and I'm glad people can appreciate my humor!! I'm glad I'm loved for soemthing!!! :teeth:

Going to watch csi and then go to bed!!

good night all!
tara

Back from choir... about to head to bed to relax with some needles and yarn :)

Nancy, glad to hear you got so much done today! And fancy that... shipped and on their way to you. Wouldn't have thunked it ;)

Yummm.... that sounds very good!!!!! Got any left over? Maybe I'll have to make some for myself :teeth:

Need to put the foot up. See y'all later!

Another good morning save from page 3!

Don't have time to write more. You know me and my crazy life.

Karen
