Afternoon!!! Not a whole lot going on here....got a few more calls about some job possibilities.....more interviews this week!! Kep your fingers crossed. I really need to find something soon or I am going to lose what is left of my mind!!

Deena, Happy Birthday to Even!!! (LOL)! Hope you are feeling better soon! We have been very lucky this year with the flus and tummy things...not much has happend here with that. And I am VERY thankful!!

Nancy, I too love to see all the beautiful gowns and draperies that some call gowns! Of course, I have NO IDEA who all those people are!!

Todd and Amanda, hope you are able to get all your itinerary with the added people. I guess you guys will be great Disney tour guides!! Have a great trip!! I wish I could stow away somewhere in your bags.....I am sure my snickering at Todd's joke would give me away!!

Karen, have a safe trip! Hope you were able to get out OK!! Let us know when you get in!!

Lily, I had to laugh at your mess on the capret....I too had my own little mess to tend to last night. You see, Greg was making bacon and set the smoke detector off several times last night...so I finaaly opened the patio door. (That is where we let Barkley out for the winter when it is just too icky to walk him, or the snow is to deep....yes, we shovel our back yard) Anyway, I see Barkley at the door thinking he is wanting ot go out...but nope....he is peeing...on the carpet Not sure what prompted that...but I was not happy!! Oh well! What can you do! I am certain I prefer yellow snow to yellow carpet!

Lainey, sorry even the boring book could not get you to sleep! I hate it when that happnes! Lately I seem to have just the opposite problem. I can't stay up!

Sherry, have fun at the auto show! We missed it this year and we go every year! Always a good time and fun to dream about all those cars you want!! Love the littel min coopers....so cute!!

Hey gang!! Okay, so Ima Dork! I didn't get the pictures down loaded yesterday!!

Deena...Dave and Mom weren't filling him with dessert...they were actually pulling on both ends like a torture rack!! they wanted to see how far he would stretch!!! happy birthday Evan!! Deena get well!!

Okay, that's all the ketchup that I can think of...oh wait...
1. didn't watch the oscars...had an iep to write..blech!
2. still no ipod or extra car stereo system
3. no man to have to huff about!!

However, on the positive side....I had tax money left over to buy myself a camera...actually I had decided which one I wanted and Sunday when we headed out to run errands I looked at the circulars and found the camera I wanted marked down from $399 to $299 at Office Max!! woohoo!!! So I went and bought myself a Kodak Easyshare DX 6490!! It has 10x optical zoom and 3x digital zoom. It also does video (i'm not real clear on this part yet but I'm sure I will eventually figure it out!)

On an even more positive side....I had enough tutoring money to make a deposit on our Nov/Dec trip!! I am planning to work summer school this year so that will pay for the rest of my trip!!! I'm also hoping to get a postcard code like I did last year!!!

I think I'm finally coming down with whatever this crap is that everyone else has had....I've sneezed myself clear across the room today!!

JRKaren and the Ohio contingetn...quit hogging the snow!! Deena and I want some!!! I don't ask for much in life but this would be nice.

Okay, gotta go and get some real work done!!!

Poor guy, he's never had any food from them though. He just goes for the atmosphere.

We enjoy the standalone one nearby because of the indoor playground. It's the closest thing Rebecca and I get to a date night.

Hi all

Have had an exciting weekend here. Friday they did the filming for Jarhead. I am sorry I was not able to get any pictures. My neighbor took some of Jake Gyllenhal(day after tomorrow). She promised to give me a copy or two. One of them was of him peeing on the side of a trailor. Apparently he didn't like the port-o-potty they had three feet away. Was sad that Jamie Fox did not come to the neighborhood. They had a bunch of Humvees and other military vehicles that would turn down our street after filming a shot. Must have gone around about seven or eight times. Apparently Jake was in one of them but with all of the military gear on it was hard to tell. Will have to look at the pictures when she gets them done(can't download on her computer).

I am sorry for all of the snow and cold weather everyone is having. It is a beautiful 75 degrees today. Nice change from the past month where it was mostly rain.

Deena hope you feel better soon. Happy Birthday to Evan!

Liz good Luck on the job search. I know a good one will come your way soon.

Todd we always make an itinerary but, it just never seems to work out. One day I think I will just go and just get on wich ever bus comes first and that is the park we will be going to that day.

Didn't make it to the gym. Ted was a bit stiff from yesterday, I still wanted to go to look see at the store so we went there after dinner. Azmarelda got a pretty green dress for St. Pat's day. OK you guys got me hooked. Didn't really get much and nothing to wear. Managed a thing or two for the exchange. Still need to continue on with that. I feel better as I at least got to look at the styles for the season. I think there might be something this season that I could see me wearing. Usually that is not the case.
Gonna get ready to bed down; maybe read a bit I think.

cooked dinner, cleaned the kitchen after, vacuumed the house, hemmed some pants, took care of the kitty litter, worked on removing some stains that set in on some white camis while being washed (Luis had thrown in a color with them), and ironed some clothes...

back is aching

Evening, Ya Yas!! Been another one of those days at work. Both bosses were in and were just so sweet--at 4:45PM they suggested I leave early since the roads were getting pretty bad. Gee, thanks, guys! Took me 15 minutes to clean up, forward the phone lines to the answering service and get the computer shut down for the night. So I got to leave at 5--whooppeeee.

Got a voice mail on my cell phone (right after I turned it off , of course) and Karen has arrived safely in DC! I'd call her back, but it's past 9:30 and I don't want to disturb her if she's already bedded down.

So, Karen, if you are ketchupping or lurking, I got your message and we are looking forward to seeing you Wednesday! I heard the snow emergency was cancelled in DC at 3PM this afternoon, so I'm hoping it's not too bad for ya.

LOL!!! Alan!! Whatever made you think Pam would let you out of that cave?!! Winston goes to Mickey D's and never gets any fries?!! Poor guy!!! So deprived!!
