So, it seems that a LOT of weight has left some Ya Yas and found others. We sure gotta have a TON of skinny Ya Yas then based on what I have here and what my other taking friends have found. Congrats to all you givers. All us takers need to be on a path to find someone else to give this to.

Bought 2 books...Marathoning for Mortals and Courage to Start, both by John Bingham. I am liking the MfM so much I decided I needed it so I could give the library one I keep getting back so someone else can use it. We also went to Best Buy, got a new inkjet printer and DH did shopping, me too...He was looking at stuff and I bought something oh so cute to play music! Move over Beth and Liz! I'm gonna try walking with music and see if I like it. I don't think DH even paid attention to what I was doing. Wait til he sees what I did, he will be so thrilled.

Actually I'm kind of not sure about something I agreed to do. Something with Luis' work... seems like I'll have to actually work out... or lie to them about it... so I guess I'll take the easier of the two and just get off my bum and get moving

I admit, I didn't do a snit of cleaning tonight. I started to, got annoyed and gave up. I did work on something I was trying to create for a friend, and I luckily came up with something that should work... I was just about to give up too at that time.

Mood seems to come and go with me tonight. Still haven't started a movie... not sure I will at this point. Gwenie is cuddled next to me though, so life is pretty good

Evening, hope the third time's the charm. Yep, I deleted some mega long posts.

I guess I'll chalk it up to the painkillers. It's been a rough day, and I took a whole painkiller. Thanks to Liz, I had a bowl of ice cream and Liz, you're right, no nausea. I called the doctor's office, but they didn't call back. I have a feeling I will be going in on Monday afternoon. I usually am a 2%er. Any complication that will only happen to a small percentage of people always seem to happen to me.

I did buy the laptop bag. Nothing else-yet. Then today, when I thanked my boss for telling me about it (enabling me, lol) he asked me to bring it in once I get it. We are so good that way.

Pssst, there's gonna be some really cute Easter stuff in your local Disney Store. Cute candle holders, juice glasses, dessert plates, placemats and this really cute stitch holding the duck from the movie.

Count me in as a weird person who LIKES doing taxes. In the past 20 years, I only had two times where I didn't do them, and once was the first year any tax preparer could do the electronic filing. Guess I get that from my mom-she's retired, but still has about two dozen clients that she does returns for! I also like to figure out interest rates and payments on loans in my head-really annoys Ed that I can do it in my head almost as fast as he does on a calculator!!!

JRKaren, so you joined that IPOD bandwagon, does that mean you've got MP3's of Scotty and Ray to upload?

Jeanne, I think it's a good idea to rent 1/2 and live in one half. I can dig up some good leases I've had if you need them. Never rented out, but word of mouth renting happens a lot more than you think!

Lily, glad you get the vicarious thrill from my shopping-I used to take shopping lists to WDW with me and get my kicks spending other people's money!

Stacy, come on down. We don't have a chocolate fountain, but before the weekend is over, we will have a chocolate fondue. Funny thing in that up north, I'd make a special trip to a mall almost an hour away to get my favorite chocolate. When Wegman's came in, they had it, so I only had to drive five minutes to get it. Now, I've got all these places around here that have scharffen berger. I'm putting strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, caramel and probably brownies in it. I think it's become a valentine's tradition for us.

Okay, a piece of history here: two years ago today, while our home in Maryland was pounded with snow, we were driving around Clermont, Florida. That trip (and the extra three days in Florida because of the snow) cemented the decision to move here. Mom reminded me that today was my Papa's birthday, so it makes me think that he was trying to make sure I moved near mom!

Okay, I got most of the post back without killing it!

They are also great on beaches, decks of cruise ships and work I need to find a good way to use mine in the car though. I think it will require getting a tape deck installed

Good morning, all! Had a lovely sleep in this morning and are now getting ready to head out to MILs house. Best part is there is a Starbucks at one of the service plazas in Maryland that we like to make a potty stop at! I have been very good and have not been spending the boo-koo bucks--for awhile there it was Starbucks on the way to work every morning. Till I realized I could buy a couple of pounds of Gevalia coffee for what I'd spend in a week!

Anyhoo, BAB was fun last night--we got there just as a HUGE party of kids were leaving. Thank goodness!! Dizzy went along, cuz she has it in her head that she needs a spring hat like the one they had last year. It was a straw with flowers around the brim, but they didn't have the spring/summer stuff out yet. For MIL we got the birthday set--it's a party hat with multi-colored curly ribbons hanging from the point, a silly bowtie in the same fabric as the hat is covered with, a white satin sash that says "Happy Bearthday" and one of those little blow-out whistles. We also got the little cupcake that says Happy Birthday. Couldn't find any plain t-shirts, so we got a sort of Valentine's outfit, which is black wide-leg pants and a red blouse with ruffles all over the front. Dizzy had fun chatting with the people there and seeing the place where she was born. When we were checking out, the girl was telling us about the new Spring Chick/Duck that will be out for Easter this year. Apparently looks different from Dizzy. Also just released is a Cocoa Bunny, which you can see online. And Vanilla Fudge Bear is coming soon! Saw the new green St. Patty's Day bear there, too. His name is Lucky O'Bear and he is soooooooooo green!! Bright Kelly Green!

Whoo-hoooo, sounds like the Ya Yas are doing their job to keep Apple in business!! Jellybean got a mini, Junior got one for Sherry, and Lily snatched one up at Best Buy last night, too!! My only problem is that a lot of the music I would like to put on mine is either on my old record albums or we don't own it in any form. I have a feeling I will be spending alot of my coffee $$ at iTunes.

Well, it's time to hit the road. Ya'll have a lovely Saturday with whatever activities are planned for your day! Hope to check back in tonight, depending on what time we get home. Dave checked and there is a BaB at the mall we plan to stop at up there (no sales tax in Delaware!!) cuz we both need new black slacks for bell choir. LOL!! Welcome to iPod central! My iPod Mini is currently being charged. I've already put some of my CDs on my PC, and I downloaded a couple of songs from iTunes (I had a couple of free songs from Pepsi caps). I'll definitely be messing around with the thing this afternoon.

Tara, yeah, you should get an iPod. You totally won't hear the boys if you turn it up loud enough

Finally found out when my business trip is going to be--right before my Dallas trip. I work all day on Monday, Feb. 28th, fly down to DC after work, arriving around 8:00. Work on Tuesday and Wednesday. Fly home on Thursday, March 3rd. Go directly to work. Work until 4:30. Go home. Sleep in my own bed. Fly to Dallas on March 4th with a stop in Philadelphia. Torment Kathy and Krista for a few day. Fly home on March 7th. That's four flights (or really six since they Dallas flights aren't direct) in eight days. That's a whole heck of a lot of flying.

Lily, glad you got an iPod. I didn't notice. Did you end up with the shuffle? Did you get the 512 or the 1g? I decided that I wanted the display, so I went with the mini.

Sherry, way cool that you got a pink iPod mini! I don't know if I would have bought it on an impulse buy if they didn't have the blue or the green one. Have fun playing with it

Elaine, I debated going up to a full size 20gb iPod since it was only $50 more than the mini, but decided that the mini will be more than enough for me. I figure that I will just put the songs I like on it. And I still have a useable mini-disc player that I could also use if I need to.

Stacy, I did that useless quiz, and I was an itchy snowflake. I think that Beth had something to do with that (remember she was responsible for that 12 feet of snow we got in Boston that month--I think she was just trying to remind me of the snow).

Suzanne, I don't mind doing taxes either. But I telefile, so it's pretty easy. I already got my refunds back (the money was burning a hole in my checking account so that's why I bought the iPod mini).

Hi everyone and good moring!!

It's a balmy 32 degrees here and I m home alone and on my 3rd cup of coffee - life is good!!

DH and DS off doing "livestock things" with BIL(don't ask).
DD at BF in CT.

We successfully filed FAFSA for DD's college aid - I think I am getting more stressed out over these deadlines than she is.

Today's activities consist of grovery shopping - clean house - do laundry....drive DS somewhere - go pick up DD (she does not have her own car and I don't want to be stuck without a car when she goes to BF's so we usually meet 1/2 way - last night his dad and sisters picked her up (he was still working).
Pretty boring - huh?? lol

For all of you ipod'ers.....my DD got an ipod for Christmas - she quickly realized that itunes has all new songs and she does like some older ones so she also uses Livewire - downloads songe to her laptop then onto ipod.

For all of you who lost pounds.....please come get them - they will be on my front step Monday morning when the diet starts.....

We had 3 inches of snow again Thrusday night - unfortunately my mailbox dod not survive the storm - I am guessing it was hit by a plow truck - out of the ground - base broke in 1/2..... can't see the street from the house so of course I did not see or hear anything.

I bought DH Patriots "official" Superbowl baseball hat for his collection for Valentines Day - will probably pick up something little for the kids today.

JRKaren, I wish mine were easy enough to telefile-that went away a lonnnng time ago. Have three different schedules to add to mine, lol!
