LOL...sorry, Elaine. Didn't remember when I posted about the Ipod.....and I am old ;)

Gee....sorry, I mentioned my nose hurt  That seems to be all people pick up on.
Well, it has rained all day, so there is moisture back in the air and all is well :)

We're going to see Sideways tomorrow. Anyone seen it?

Suzanne.....I hope it doesn't take a month for your leg to feel better :( That would seem like a VERY long time.
I want to go furniture shopping....but need to wait for the carpeting. Maybe next weekend :hyper:

Liz...:rotfl2:

Awww....Beth and Dave have a new baby. Hope we get pictures soon!

Kristy...sorry the week was so hard on you :(
Hope things get better.

Sherry....glad to hear that Hitch was cute. That's one I want to see with Christin....hopefully soon.

:wave2: Stacy.
:wave2: Lily
and everyone else too.

Good Morning All!!

Sorry I didnt get back yesterday but we were busy when we came back from the second bball game and then I fell asleep at around 7:30. I was up about five times last night but I dont feel too bad this morning since I went to sleep so early last night.

Dh took me out for my Valentines Day gift yesterday and I got something similar to the ipod shuffle. The only difference is you can see what the song is and skip to the next one if you want to. I think I am going to return it today though. I had no right to spend that kind of money even if it was from our tax return. Dh and I just had a talk and he is upset about me wanting to return it. He says for me its a much needed thing that when I wake up or get anxious I can just turn it on and tune out the world. He really wants me to keep it and feels that I deserve it. He had me nearly in tears on the front porch he was so sweet about it. He is already planning the CD's he will get me for other occassions LOL.

Suzanne I hope it doesnt take a month for your leg to feel better. I will be saying prayers that it feels better well before then. Im glad your doc was able to give you something better for the pain.

Bethie Congrats on your new baby BaB!!! He sounds adorable.

Kristy Im so sorry about the roller coaster you have been on this week. It is so hard to say goodbye to people you care about.

Liz Im so sorry you had to deal with that wack case. Why are all the cute ones weird?? LOL

Tara Im so glad the retail therapy helped!! Yea!! on the smaller size!!! If you ever need anyone to talk to about the frustrations of raising young ADHD kids Im here to talk to. I have two of them. Mine are now older than Jar but not old enough that I dont remember what we went through at that age.

Elaine Its because you care about your furbaby that you got sick to your stomach. I get all woogy dealing with blood and the kids or dh. I think its because we have an emotional attachment that we react that way. Im hoping that it's nothing serious with your furbaby. I will say prayers for her.

Well I guess I better start getting ready for church. Waaaa I wanna laze around today and I dont get to LOL!!! I will checkin after church.

HUGS TO ALL!!!!

Dang, all them great ketch-ups! Now I don't know what to say. :confused3

GOOD MORNING! I think DS and I will be going to the mall today to check out some BAB stuff. Then a walk on the beach might be in order :cool1: and with all that walking we just may need a DQ treat

Kristy  oh and gotta agree about feeling for the daughter. My mom drove us all  I'm trying not to, but..............
Tara  and :Pinkbounc for retail therapy!
Nancy How's your nose today? :teeth:
Sherry, Yum, meatloaf and taters! Went to a new restaurant last night w/some friends and they had the best meatloaf and mac n cheese. They serve "comfort food" ::yes::
Liz :rotfl2: stripper? Love it!
Beth I remember that nursery rhyme :guilty:
Ok, seem to have CRS setting in.
Hope everyone has a beautiful day...............

Karen sneated! Morning Karen. Such a sweet hubby ;) .

Ok, I gotta tell ya'll about my new friend  . He is sooooo sweet. Actually he is up there around some of ya'll right now in Cleveland. He calls and texts me all time, I can't wait til he gets back. So, very not typical of someone I would date: think biker :moped: yes, full fledged. Long hair, goatee, tattoos. He is hispanic and when he talks to me with that accent and calls me baby :faint:. Ok, gotta go now

 puckerup: :rose:

Morning Ya Yas!

To market, to market, to buy a fat pig.
Home again, home again, jiggety jig.
To market, to market, to buy a fat hog,
Home again, home again, jiggety jog.
To market, to market, to buy a plum bun,
Home again, home again, market is done.
Beth, I just love those nursery rhymes. Glad you had a great experience and found a new munchking to bring home.

Stacy, sorry you are in the same cloudy mood that a lot of us have been experiencing.

Sherry, I love meatloaf! I will be thinking about that all day now. We usually don't have that on Sunday. That is usually a meal we prepare during the week for some reason. I'm thinking this week it must be.
I wonder if I should talk DH into a movie this afternoon. I think we could all use a laugh.

Kristy, good for you getting back on. You have been inspiring to many with your progress. Keep it up girlie.

Suzanne, glad you finally got through to your doc. Hope those pain meds do what it should for you. It must be difficult to have to deal with the food reaction thing. Hope Neil is better by now. He got into the Ya Ya patrol stash!!?? Does he understand that those types of foods affect him so he can learn to avoid or is he a bit too young to completely get it yet? That learning process is difficult. I STILL am too young to get it for myself! ;)

Tara, :rotfl2: :worship: Wowsers! What a ketchup.
 :sunny: Hope things ease up a lot for you. My single mother gf went through raising adhd son and although I don't really know, I understand there are times when you need a break. PD for you that you always find your cup half full and can find a way to get a break now and then. Yay! to you on your new size and retail therapy. That rocks!
Oooh----maybe the iPod shuffle and digi cam fairy will figure out a way for you to get both?

Nancy, haven't seen the movie. Will hafta wait for your review again. It's been a while since DH and I went to a movie. Seems we've been into other stuff lately.

Karen, You have EVERY right to have that gift your DH wants you to have. When times are tough it is how many women have been raised to be the ones to sacrifice everything in order to be the provider. Well, you have needs/wants and should receive occasionally too. So take, say thank you I love you and run and play with your new toy! There, sorry if I offended ya, but I just had to say it.

RM, beach and DQ ohboyohboyohboy! and you have a biker dude friend! :moped: Well, if he is around these parts he must be lost. It is way too cold. I'll turn him in the right direction and head him back your way if I spot him.
:teeth:

Everyone else, happy day!
I'm wondering how everyone is.

Morning all... I skimmed a little, but don't have time to do a real catch up before I leave...

I wanted to say that Cleo is doing fine... and I am pretty sure I was just upset that I didn't notice the cut before (it had to be there a while). I'm a very protective mama ;)

I need to go now, but I will do a real read and catch up after we get back :)

Good morning.

RM :p
Enjoy the walk on the beach ....and the DQ....and the new "friend" :teeth: And remember girlfriends tell all details :hyper: ::yes::

Karen...keep it!! It is a present. Take it for that. It was sweet of him.

Lily, I will let you know about the movie. Good reviews.
And....it isn't playing around here, so we are going to the theater by the mall....soooo, I might need a stop at BaB also ;)

Have a good day Elaine. Yes, overprotective mommies  Been there for the people babies and the furbabies too ::yes::

Hope everyone has a great day.

My 365 Reasons to Eat Chocolate Calendar is cracking me up :rotfl:
Todays:
The Dentist cannot drill gaping holes in your teeth if you have a mouthful of chocolate.
:teeth:

Hi all, back from church and lunch. Luis wants to get his hair cut and I need to replace some earrings (the crowd got to me yesterday so I left before I did that). So we'll head out in a little while.

Cleo is being a HUGE brat today... pokingme in the back :p

Kristy, glad to see you back here again. I was thinking about you all week long. Best of luck at work... especially picking up the pieces... I found that layoffs reminded me of death in a way  Good luck iwth the homework too!

Stacy, you sure know how to make things look worse than they are ;)

Sherry, glad you enjoyed the movie! We were thinking of seeing that one sometime soon.

Awww Bethie, I think he definitely had to come home with you. So cute & sweet ::yes::

Suzanne, glad you were able to talk to your doctor and get something for the pain. I know I had teeny bits of that on my knee when it was sliced... painful with nerves repair themselves. Take it easy

Liz, I have to laugh at your work out... sorry you were creeped out, but sounds like he helped ya in a way ;) Hopefully you won't run into any creeps in the future.

Tara, I know BMW does that for their cars... it's a BMW thing :( I am on the lookout for other options (other than going to a BMW dealer to see if they can attach it to my Honda  ) I think I have found something, but it costs $190 :( A dang tape deck would cost less to get and install than that!
I go for digital camera before iPod... will make sharing pics a breeze ;)
Oh and so glad htat you were able to improve your mood! And congrats on the new size!!! Has a way of making you feel great, doesn't it?

Nancy, sorry to have teased... I couldn't resist. Actually I am glad I went back because I really did miss that... I was awfully tired when I read through the thread when I got home. So I do hope you'll get yours soon!

Karen, keep your new toy. I hate spending money on me, but sometimes you really need to do things that will help you out. If it will help you with stress and other things, then I am sure it is worth the cost!

Rose Mary, enjoy the walk on the beach and DQ! That sounds awfully good to me today!
A Hispanic friend????? Watch out, they'll get ya every time ;) Wouldn't trade my latin boy for the world though ::yes::

I admit, I have never heard of that rhyme you posted there, Lily :o

Nancy, enjoy your day! ANd that calendar is tooo funny! :rotfl:

Gotta go... catch y'all later :)

Elaine,

Check this out....iPod Accesories

I have the Belkin gizmo that goes in the tape deck and it works great!! Sounds lie this may be a worthy and cheeper option for you!!

Hi Ya Yas!
Nancy, I love that calendar. Great idea there! We have a friend who is Endodontist and as DS#2 was growing up he realized she was a dentist. Boy did he bust her for the time he watched her eating candy when we were all out playing together.

Elaine, I was shopping around iPod and Liz beat me to it. I was thinking the same thing. It may be just the thing. DS used something similar for a time with his DVDs when he didn't have a player in his car.

Liz, good catch on that one.

Floors vaccuummeedd (I can never rember which ones have doubles ;)) stuff dusted, bed changed, washer going. Break time. I'm at the the 'puter. All is right with the world.

Thanks for that link Liz, but the channels they use aren't good for here. FM stations take up even those ranges that they broadcast on. Already tried that and had zero luck getting it to broadcast :( I need to keep looking. It might be cheapest and easiest to get a tape deck installed. Whatever, I am sure I will need something installed since the CD/radio will have to come out of my car.

I am hoping that more things will become available as more people get these and have the same issue I do.
Back from shopping and now I have a ton of ironing to do. Catch y'all later :)

back from my scrapping trip.

I completed 5 pages. I think they look good even though they are not up to the par that I see others doing them...but for me I think they are pretty good.

I didn't try to do anything fancy with borders and cutouts....I stuck to the WDW sticker borders and didn't embelish too much!!

Gotta get the kids dinner and ready for bed. Have a great night all!!

tara

Hey all,

Went to church then out to get a lawnmower to replace the one our neighbor ruined and then home to nap. I woke up thinking it was morning and trying to figure out why the kids were up and watching tv and dressed.

Lily thank you for saying what you said. I am not offended in the least bit and you are very right. Dh said something along the same lines to me when he said he wanted me to keep it. Its just so hard for me to accept things for things I have been brought up to do. But I did say thank you, I love you. I haven't had the time yet to even open the box but dh said he would help me set it up tonight.

Ooooooooo RM has a new frieeeeeeeeeend. He sounds exciting. Latin huh. I am so happy for you!

Nancy that calendar is so cute!

I have a belkin thing that I can plug into my cd player and then a tape like thingy that goes into my tapedeck which allows me to play the cd player in the car. Do they have one of those for the ipod? I wonder if I can get one for mine. Its from Sandisk.

Welp it's time to eat din din. I will be back laters.

HUGS TO ALL!!!

Take two! I should know better than to type a long post with the computer in my lap!

We had a busy day. Went over to DirectBuy and it was an expensive but productive trip. I'm so psyched, found furniture and lighting fixtures that I'll be ordering this week, woohoo!

Afterwards, we got lunch at a great buffet. You know a place is good when there are a bunch of groups of people in their church finery all eating there too. Then off to the market and farm stand. Took the time to clean Sputnik up, too.

Lily, yep he knows he's not supposed to eat them, and usually is the first to tell you he can't have stuff with dye, but sometimes the ADHD wins out.

RoseMary, details on the latin man! :)

Tara, the scrapbooking sounds like it was fun.

Lainey, glad that the cut was minor. I know what you mean about worrying that you didn't notice something.

Karen, please keep your ipod thingy. Just think how much cheaper it is than therapy. Actually, I found music to be great therapy when my ex and I split-trust me, you are WORTH it!

Kevin is watching what may be one of the world's worst movies, the Cat in the Hat...it's like a train wreck!

Off I go, to see what Ed's talking about on the ebay auctions!

Suzanne

Elaine, hope it happens soon for you. I guess you are just so ahead of everyone!

Tara, good for you--5 pages, you can do more than me. If you are happy that is all that counts.

Karen, glad you are keeping it. New lawn mower, I'd be thinking if the neighbor ruined it that the neighbor should cut your grass, like until you decide to get one...
:teeth:
Suzanne, Whoa, that does sound like a busy day. Seems like it is coming to a nice conclusion with kidlet entertained, DH playing Ebay and all. Enjoy the rest.

I gave dogs a bath, then I gave me a nice soak in the tub. Still washing clothes. I am currently "ripping" my cds in my 'puter. Oh such fun. Glad I don't have too many of them. Must remedy that I am thinking.

Movie was good. Very well done. Not your typical comedy, but :rotfl2: a lot.
Definitely a guy movie. 2 guys on a road trip before one gets married  Lots of wine and wine talk as they tour the S. CA vineyards.
Worth a see, but not for kids....they would be way too bored.

Hit the casino buffet on the way home. I'm stuffed and playing here for awhile.
