Kimmie & Karen, The Noble Collection doesn't have it in gold either. I haven't seen it anywhere in gold... too far from the original look I'd guess. They did just recently come out with a slightly smaller one for those who love, but want something a wee bit smaller. $20 less too.

Green Day... that's a group I haven't heard in a long time! Might help if I listen to radio more :rolleyes1

Sherry, freezing here too... looking forward to Sunday more now that I've heard the forecast for the week!

Umm.... thanks Nancy... evil... those are pure EVIL!!!! ;)

Hi Rose Mary & Deena :wave2:

Gotta jet and get to the library before I go home to change clothes. It is so hard to wear your best sleazy outfit when it is 14 degrees outside !!!!

I think this is the most emoticons I've used in one post in a very long time!!

I'll check back in from work tomorrow!!

hugs,
tara

I like these guys :ssst: :music:

Oh...before I go..just wanted to let you know that the BAB scrapbooking apron can be bought online, but most stores don't carry them. I ordered one for Sasha on Monday, so I'll post a picture of her wearing it as soon as it gets here.

Toodles! :moped:

I ordered one for Lily too, Kristy :teeth:
They said only online for it.
I also ordered Lily the toothbrush set!! Too cute!!

So where is JRKaren today?? She must be partying hard.....or stuck in the snow someplace ;)

Oh just SHOOT ME NOW!!!!!! After all this hassle of trying to get this puppet done by Friday my eldest informs me that now she has changed the due date to TUESDAY!!!! I have gone insane trying to figure out how this can be done and I have bought a bunch of things we ended up not using because we didnt have the time. Now we have the time but we have already figured out a different way to do the puppet and have it almost finished!!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

Thank you Elaine for resizing that picture for me of Harry S. Truman. The face looks GREAT.

I got a bit of upsetting news today. Apparently my oxygen saturation test was worse than I thought. I got the report and the guy told me it was not good. I faxed it to my doc who called and told me to call my pulmonologist and fax it to him. He called me back and I have an appointment to see him on Tuesday but he told me I will need to be on oxygen at night. Apparently I have done some major damage to my lungs. Im so scared and upset.

Hiya Ya Yas!

Holy moly, are there a lot of new smilies or what? I agree with whoever it was that said this guy :dancer: was creepy. heehee

Thank you all muchly for pondering my crazy question. Honestly, I'd never thought of it before, that I didn't have to be 'bought off' by the present if I kept it. It's not like they actually said "Hey, if you take this, we're even Stevens". I'm 99% sure that's what they think, but they don't have to know I know that. And Bethie, thank you for pointing out that sending it back would be petty. It was leaving a bad taste in my mouth - the idea of sending it back - but I couldn't figure out why. But that's exactly it. I don't want to play that game with them (or anyone). You guys are so great for helping me. Thank you so much. :grouphug:

Karen, if you can, I'd love to see a picture of Mr Puppet Truman when he's done. It just sounds so cute. So sorry to hear your youngest is being bullied at school :( I hope you can get things worked out quickly. At least it sounds like the teacher is on top of it. I'm sorry your oxygen test results didn't come back better. I hope it's something that can be taken care of, or treated when you get a diagnosis. You look after yourself. (Just read the part about Mr Truman not being due until Monday. On the bright side, at least you won't have to struggle with him this weekend now!)

Elaine, I love that Noble Collection necklace. It's so pretty. I think the elven brooch leaves necklace Scott got me was from there. The Evenstar came from somewhere else though. They have such nice LotR stuff out there. Ahh, for unlimited funds. ;) Good work with the dress-persuasion. We'll have to see some pictures of you and Luis all dolled up when you get back from your cruise.

JRKaren, glad you got to go home early yesterday. I hope the really long commute was at least shorter than it would have been if you had to go in rush hour. Done anything fun for your birthday yet?

Beth, woohoo 48 degrees! we had a high of 4 here today, and we're expecting low 30s tomorrow and for the weekend. Weeeee! Break out the shorts. ;)

Suzanne, I was keeping a good thought for you today. Hope everything went well for your surgery.

Nancy, I'm glad the moving is done for you. That's such a big job. I didn't even read the cookie recipe, past the title. They sound dangerous! :teeth:

Stacy, hope your DH's birthday goes well. Have a great time with your relatives. :)

Kimmie, any chance we get some pics of you as a true blonde? Only a few more hours until Friday now. ;)

Tara, hope your library trip wasn't too cold. You could always go high school style, and wear your best sleazy outfit under something respectible, and take that off when you get there. ;)

Kristy, looking forward to seeing the new BaB stuff you ordered.

Paula, happy 500th post! Did you enjoy the hummus? I love it. Yummy!

Hi Pam, Amanda, Lily, Kimmar, Alan, KristaTX, SSB, Sherry, Deena, Rose Mary, Snowwark, and everyone else out in Ya Ya land! :wave2:

Ok, time for work for me. Have a great evening, everyone!
(Yay! That was the first time in forever that I haven't had to edit for smilies! Hooray for raised smilie limits!)

Just popping in to say :wave2: before The Apprentice comes on!

Love the toothbrush set. Too cute.

All the new smileys are so cool.

 :cold: :crowded: :hourglass :shamrock:

Good evening, everyone!

Thanks for the birthday wishes :) I'm lucky to be part of a group as great as this.

My birthday has been rather unspectacular. I was supposed to have the day off work today, but since one of my co-workers was on vacation this week, and another quit, if I had been out today, it would have been two poeple to do the work of five. So, me being the responsible person that I am, offered to give up my day off to make things easier for everyone else. It wound up being the busiest day at work I've had in a long time. One of my co-workers was supposed to take me out to lunch today, but I was so busy that I couldn't even go.

Other than work being busy, I shoveled snow and ate Chinese food. I have a chill in me tonight--I just can't get warm. I wound up calling KristaTX and asked her if she wanted a visitor sometime soon, so I may be heading down to Texas in a month or so.

Anyways, that's enough about me. Let's talk about the rest of you :)

Karen, sending out good thoughts for you about the oxygen test. Maybe it won't be as bad as you are fearing  and don't stress about the puppet. It will be nice to have it done sooner and not have to worrry about it.

Paula, congrats on 500 posts! Yay!

Kim (Snowwark), thanks for the cake :) It taste like dirt, though.

Kristy, can't wait to see Sasha in the scrapbooking apron. Maybe I should get Jellybear one.

Tara is getting all sleazed up and has someplace to go? Cool.

Nancy, I'll have to pass on those peanut butter brownies. I don't like peanut butter. Never did. Except for the peanut butter chips my mom used to put in the rice krispie treats she used to make.

Alan, the piano arrived in once piece, and the piano player is much cuter than the picture shows.

Suzanne, sending out good thoughts for you

Big hugs to everyone else! Thanks again for all the birthday wishes :)

Hi There!!

I have lost THREE long posts...so this is gonna be short and sweet!!!! Ditto to what Caroline said......

Just wanted to say hey to all. I have been keeping busy with training for the half marathon and trying to get my puter to work. Greg changed a few settings on it.....and well, so much for them working!!!

I have read everything and just wanted to check in!!

Since I fear losing another long post, I am gonna make this short and hope for the best for a nice long post tomorrow.

I'm home from my party...I ended up wearing a shirt I put away a while back because it was too small...but fit pretty well tonight! It was a little on the sleazy side :). I paired it with black jeans and boots. I dolled up the hair, slapped on some make up and off I went.

Had a great time but it was kind of depressing...there were the people younger than me who were having a great time being single with each other and then there were the old farts like me but all of them were there with some one...and there I sat! Oh well, better luck for me next year!!

going to bed now...tired...good night!

hugs,
tara
