Hey all,

Remember that headache I had last night? Well I still have it. DRAT!!!! I feel like garbage this morning. Unfortunately I can't call into work because I have stuff I need to get done. Of course tonight is also Team Kid night so there will be no coming home and relaxing after work. I will leave the house today at 7:30 and wont get home tonight until 8:00. Im begining to dislike Wednesday. To top it off the person who does snacks at Team Kid is not going to be there because of her kid's soccer games so dh and I not only get to set up but also do snacks so I can't even not go tonight. It would leave my dh to do it all and I can't do that. I am just not having a good morning. Im cold, cranky, and I hurt. Im sorry I'm whining its just been a been having a really rough time since Saturday.

TC I am so sorry about Uncle Ed. Im glad Sue could be there. That was such a wonderful tribute to him.

Beth you are right there has to be more to that story than meets the eye. There is no way she could afford a fourteen hundred dollar apartment on a salary from BOA.

Sherry Im glad your DSL is up and running and they gave you something off for starting it late.

Kimmie not smoking is going......I have been ratty and cranky and just downright not myself this week at all. I have also faltered a couple of times which makes me mad at me. Im plugging along though. Your necklace sounds beautiful. I would love to see a picture of it.

Elaine wow you are a 6 headed to a 4?? Congrats!!! Those are numbers I wonder if I will ever see again. Do they make Tommy Jeans in husky sizes?? LOL I can't find any decent jeans in my size unfortunately. They think all heavy people want elastic waists.

Suzanne if you check in please know that I am thinking about you and praying for you. Your surgery is tomorrow isnt it? I thought I remember you saying it was the 27th.

Liz Im sorry you are having computer problems. Hopefully they are solved by now.

Accck the dog has decided it's a good thing to bark like nuts at the cat who is outside. It's going right thourgh my head. Eldest Ds's report is finally finished and in its cover. The only thing that still needs to be done is the puppet. Dh and I will probably cut that out tonight and then have ds help glue it all together tomorrow after school.

Well Im gonna jump in the shower and see if I can try and help get rid of this dratted headache. Im sorry if I missed you it wasn't intenntional. Love you all.

Karen, sorry about the headache. Hope it goes away soon. As for Tommy, I *think* they go up to a size 22. I am not entirely sure, because I didn't get into wearing them until I was a size 14. I hate elastic waists though... was just saying to a friend of mine how awful it was to go shopping for shorts since I had only been able to find the Junior's barely there look or the old grandma shorts with the 15" inseam and elastic waist

Who down south where it doesn't snow has an guest bedroom for me? I'm moving in. Heck, if you have a couch, I'm moving in. Just give me an address and directions, and I'll be there later.

We are getting another 6-10 inches of snow here today (BETH). I don't know where they are going to put it all. It's insane. The commute into work was horrible--it's normally 50 minutes, and it took me an hour and a half! Yuck.

I want sun. I want warmth. I want NO MORE SNOW!

Morning Ya Yas!

Please send me some dust in the hopes that today does not continue as it has begun. Our alarm clock chose this morning to die, so we didn't wake up until my friend (and co-worker) phoned at 7:20 .. making us already 20 minutes late for work. We didn't get here until 7:45. It's a darn good thing we only live a 2 minute drive from work (even though that drive took us 10 minutes because of the snow and mornoic drivers). Not that I've never waited for people before (heck I've waited longer than that for *her* to show - heehee), but still .. not a good start to the day. However, I don't really have much to do until 10ish anyway. And on the plus side, I did get another 2 hours of sleep (almost) so maybe I'll be more awake today. Also, I think I'm pretty well out of my birthday-funk. Thanks goes to my Ya Ya well-wishers there. (For those who asked, my actual birthday was Saturday the 22nd).

JRKaren, glad you got a snow day out of the snow, at least. Didja go sledding? Crummy about the DSL delay. DSL is sooooooo nice. You're gonna love it. Mr Jellybear is really adorable. There's room on our couch, but we got 2 inches of snow last night too (and a bunch on the weekend). That's probably not what you need in your traumatized state.

Elaine, hope the tired and cranky wore off. I think it's just going around. Since you 'second' Kimmie's Tommy jeans idea, I'm definitely going to check them out.

Amanda, hope yesterday went ok for you. The only place I can think of that has those kinds of spoons is Williams-Sonoma, but they'd probably cost the Earth.

Beth, what a scary story! You stay vigilant and safe there. Maybe after Liz and Karen are done with ya, you keep their bags of oranges. You're welcome for the snow. I'm glad ya liked it. Don't be upset if I don't send you anymore though. I'm skeered of JRKaren.

Lily, try, try again might be a good policy with regard to this birthday. Maybe this weekend ... heehee. About the snow, you have to remember he's a meteorologist. We (in theory) like big storms. I myself prefer rain to snow, but there's no accounting for taste, I guess. Congrats on being back on the exercise track! You recovered from your 1/2 really quickly.

Stacy, sounds like your son is a great little guy, doing all that cleaning. If he's still in the mood, it's cold here too and my apartment could use his help.

Deena...this one's for you...Jarrod got in trouble tonight for turning on the tv after he had been banned from it. He went sneaking downstairs and didn't think I would notice the blaring KimPossible song. So I sent him to his room for time out (more so because mom couldn't think of a better punishment). About a minute later he comes out in tears, he has broken one of the doors on his bed. He has 3 doors that lead to a crawl/play space under his bed. Well, apparently whilst pissed he pushed the door too far and it cracked. Then when I went to open it, it fell off completely!! So my four yo hasn't gotten out of the breaking things stage!!!

Yeppers, in general SSB is being pretty wary with back, but have the kiddos this weekend, and especially my older DS is SO itching for me to be able to play baseball with him. Just can't do it yet.... have to keep telling self... haha!!

We're having a heatwave here in NE Ohio. It was up to 40 degrees this morning. I almost left my winter coat at home. Of course, temperatures are supposed to be dropping all day and it will be in the teens by this evening and down into single digits tomorrow night. But I guess that I should be happy that we aren't under 10 feet of snow like Karen.

My March trip to Florida cannot come soon enough.

Caroline...your birthday is the same day as my grandpa. He would have been 82 this year!! Happy belated birthday and I hope you can find some pina colodas soon (I'll never be able to spell that word)

Elaine...he has a captains bed. So it sits high and has 3 doors under it which lead to a big open play area. He uses it to put his toys in...that way he doesn't have to really clean it, he can just throw things under there!! We have a tap light for him so he can see while he is playing under the bed.

Deena...sorry! I would like to give you hope...but ugh! I think we are going to use wood glue to put the door back together and then we are going to switch the doors and put the broken door on the end where he can't open it (b/c of his night stand) and put an unbroken door on the other end!!

Karen...keep trying to give up the cancer sticks...just think how much more money you will have to spend on WDW!!!

Caroline, I am sorry about your start to the day. I admit, I've tried Old Navy for the lower rise pants and I despise them. They just do not fit right at all and have a massive gap problem for me. Not all Tommy jeans are the same and I admit I will never pay full price for them (way too costly). I used to wear a lot of Lee's until they messed with the style and made them not as cozy

This is usually close to the time of the DCL "Film Festival at Sea" with Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper.... but thinking maybe not having it this year due to his health or sumpin'. Been lucky to make 3 of the 4, and a great add on to the cruise!!

Morning, ended up there was nothing to do for me at the school library, so I came home and got another 2 hours sleep-I know I won't really sleep tonight. This surgery requires me to go under General, and when I did that with the wrist reconstruction, I had a bad couple of days-sore throat and barely ate.

As a result, I'm going to get a good steak lunch in a few, since there's nothing decent in the food court and I can't eat past 10 tonight.

JRKaren, got a room here for ya...nice firm futon...no snow! New house will have a murphy bed, once I go and look at them.

Karen, hang in there sweetie. The crabbies are the nicotine monsters grabbing you and trying to take you back to the world of smoking.

Caroline, sure, send your shredding here-Kevin loves putting stuff through the shredder. Fortunately, the kid knows enough to ask before shredding.

Caroline has the necklace too!?!? We're so silly aren't we? Snerk! Oh! Tommy jeans. Well, yesterday was my first foray into the world of Tommy jeans. I have a few Tommy shirts and some boots that I loooove, but jeans are generally a monumental challenge for me. I've tried a few Tommy jeans at Macys over the last year or so, but they're almost always too big. Anyhoo... I don't think I'd ever tried the "Jill" jeans before. They're cut fairly low in the waist, which cuts down on the gap for me and from what I can tell they seem to come in varying lengths... R for Regular, A for Average and... I assume S for short although they didn't have any there. I seem to be an R. The other brands I've tried that cut down on the gap o' sis... JLo and Angels. They're both nearly 12 feet too long for me though.

Wow CD! Yes yes yes!! PMs. Who? Me?! I owe PMs? Eh, maybe a couple.
