No kidding.... SSB would have never had ANY idea that I could feel this good, such a very short time after surgery.

Methinks that we have to plan a Ya Ya convention here, while the weather SO great here... for all o' the Ya Ya's to head down this way! SSB is buying the first rounds... haha!

There are a lot of "walking wounded" amongst the Ya Ya's. We like to "Gimp Around The World" whilest partaking liquid pleasure.

Sounds like a great plan.

No time for a real ketchup ...and I can't compete with those before me  Won't even try.

LOL...Liz...next time, I want that confetti :teeth: Or just put it into a card for the next Yaya birthday!

Kimmie....Christin did get a call today, but she had put down her cell number  And that phone doesn't come in out here. I don't know what she was thinking. So she drove to town to get her message. It was the Science Center :bounce: But she couldn't get hold of anyone. They had their recording on and it didn't take messages :( So she will try calling them back tomorrow....but it could be Monday before she gets hold of someone that really knows what is going on. So far they just want to ask her some questions.
Keep that PD flowing ::yes::

Don't blame you for not knowing the name Chad Lindberg....me either ;)
But he was in The Last Samaruai, Fast and the Furious, The Rookie.

That was so sweet of Luis, Elaine.

And thank you to Elaine for resizing the picture of Lily for me.
But...are you all seeing her in my siggie? I don't see her in this thread, but do in all the others. What's going on? :(

Okay....that is so weird....she is in that post, but not the first one
Oh well, guess that will do ;)
Good night all.

John--Just noticed your gonna be in the world the same time as us...

Nancy--you sneated..

Evening all.

Strange to have a short day at work, but good. Still grumpy about what happened earlier this week, but I'll get over it.

Lainey, sorry that things haven't been going well. Hope to see you back here when you're up to it.

TC, thanks for explaining the "Gimp Around the World" to SSB....does that mean you'll come gimp with me when I'm off work for the leg surgery? I'm hoping to get a GWI-Gimping While Intoxicated!

I can't remember who to blame for this, but I'm eating caramel kisses-someone on the DIS is to blame for the bag being in the house!

Bethie, awesome ketchup there, girlfriend! Willya go to Wegmans and get 20 pounds of Zweigles White Hots sent to me please? We're missing the good old Wegmans so much right now!

SSB-be careful there, guy. You'll feel good today then tomorrow, you'll be paying for doing too much. Take it easy, okay?

Nancy, so you're headed into town early on Monday with Christin so she can call them back, right? Go get a nice breakfast somewhere in her cell range! I guess Lily was playing peek a boo with you!

Karen, I'm hoping by your absence that you are RESTING. Follow Bethie's advice, the pillow really helps when coughing (had a really bad cold/bronchitis when I had Neil).

Todd, send some of that rain here next time it happens.

So my kids make a new friend-he plays with both of them. Today, after being here every afternoon, he invites the boys over to his house. We go and meet mom and find that the family is moving away this weekend! Bummer-he plays well with both the 5 AND 8 year old, a minor miracle!

I like the idea of a Pink Lady jacket for Liz-but is she most like Rizzo, Marty, Jan or Frenchie? I vote Jan.

The long sleep threw off my eating patterns, and Ed and I got lunch around 1:30. I wasn't hungry before I went to work, and ran through the Wendy's drive through on the way home. Every time I go through the drive through, the manager comes to the window to make sure I got the right stuff...it's the car, man! I finally got all the accoutrements to my ubiquitous taco salad, woohoo. Only took 5 tries, but every time, I get the same manager making sure I got my stuff. The capper to a great salad week-I love good salads.

One of my employees came in tonight to get her last paycheck and asked me if I lost weight...wanted to hug her. Don't think that I have, but cool that she thought I did. Even better, the new manager trainee didn't believe me when I said I was more than 50 pounds overweight. Can I keep him?

Suzanne

Must quickly say HI and thanks for all the well wishes, prayers, PD. Heading out in a minute to my mom's. Wasn't up to driving yesterday. Too many things going on.
Ok, somehow I changed all my DIS settings and messed everything up?! Typical for the 'puter illiterate that I am.
More PD on the way for Christin.
Elaine-Roses? How very sweet. Glad you were able to regroup and work things out. {{hugs}}
Pink Liz-ROTFLMAO..........Loved the story. Sounds like something that would happen to me. Got the PM, will call soon.
Now must rush off, shower and hit the road.
Hugs, kisses and PD to all.................

Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday! Big plans for the weekend, everyone?

I'm going to see "The Lion King" today with my sister, my niece, and two of my nieces friends. My niece is obsessed with "The Lion King." We are having lunch at one of my favorite restaurants--Fire & Ice--before the show. It should be a fun day :)

On to the ketchup:

Shep--Glad you took those lights down. My dad still puts ours on at night.

Liz--I'm going to send you a blue bath bomb so you can be blue ;) OH, and I for one am glad that you didn't save and send the confetti to Nancy. That would have been pretty nasty.

Sherry--Hmmm. Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper? Hmm. Sounds interesting. May have to try some of that.

Beth--Hope that payroll situation works out soon. You're right--there are loads of people who live paycheck to paycheck, and need it on the correct date. Eeks.

Kimmie--You have a paper fetish? Just what do you do with your paper? Do we really want to know? Apollo.

SSB--Glad you had a nice time with your kids! Hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend with them :)

Pam--We have a Texas Roadhouse not far from here, but I've never been. Is the food really good? What do you like to get there?

Elaine--Just  for you :)

John--No one throws a Drink/Gimp around the world like you do. Maybe you can start a new trend, and change the first word in that sentence every year. Like, next time, it can be "Skip Around the World" and then it can be "Cartwheel Around the World." Just a thought ;)

Nancy--Hope Christin hears about that job soon. It's so frustrating to wait when it's something you really want. Sending good thoughts out. Oh, and Nancy, now there is an option not to show your signature in a post. Maybe you accidentally unclicked the show your signature box before that one post.

Suzanne--Those caramel kisses are awsome. I'm not a big fan of hershey's chocolate, but I love those caramel kisses.

Caroline--Hello! How are things up there in Ontario?

Hello and hugs to the rest of you.

JellyrollsKaren

Rose Mary sneated. Hi Rose Mary. Enjoy your day with your mom. Hugs to both of you.

JellyrollsKaren

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Finally got some decent sleep last night that's why I wasnt on. I fell asleep and my sweet dh put the kidlets to bed for me.

I went and got my new crockpot last night. I REALLY like it. Went and got a pot roast this morning at the store and put it in for tonights dinner. Gonna be a long day today with two kids that have BBall practice at two different times several hours apart.

Talked to dh last night about down time for me. He is more than willing to keep both kids the night my youngest has BBall practice from 5:30 to 6:30. There is no sense in me picking up the oldest when they will be in the same place. Dh will just keep both kids with him leaving me to come home, putter around, get the rest of dinner started, and everything will be ready when they get home for dinner. This is just the sort of thing I need. Just an hour or an hour and a half to do what I want/need to do. He will also be taking my eldest to BBall practice but that is later at night on a different night and I will have the youngest at home with me because he will need to go to bed.

Gotta tell you something kewl that happened last night. We were in the SUV and my youngest said he had something special to give me but couldnt get it out of his pocket while he was sitting down. Well we walk into Sears and he hands me an earing that he said he found in his room. Well it was my diamond and Tanzanite earing that I had lost months ago and thought was gone forever. Now I thought it was the other one that I had sitting on my dresser so I didnt get too excited too quickly but I thanked him profusely for finding it for me. I had kinda thought maybe he picked up the other one. Well I get home and NOPE it IS THE MISSING EARING!!!!! I now have my diamond and Tanzanite set back!!!! Wooooooohoooooo!!! I need to get some really good backs for them so that they wont come off again.

Ahhhhhhhh it feels so nice to have din din started and not have to even think about it. The crockpot is sooooooooooo easy to program and use too!!! Took me two seconds to figure it out.

Chatty little group last night & this morning ;)

Making this quick as I have something I want to do this morning.

Pam, that bed does sound heavenly!!! I need to get some high count sheets as well... where did you get yours from?

SSB, I am really so glad that your recovery is going so well! I'm all for a huge Ya Ya meet @ WDW, especially if you buy the first round :p

John, somehow I have this bad picture of gimpy people falling all over each other... funny at the same time too!

Nancy, who the heck was Chad Lindberg in TLS & F&TF? I watched both of those. I suppose I should look him up in a few. Lily looks great! And no problem with resizing... took me 2 seconds to do!

Todd, I am dying for another meet! I just saw I'll miss one in Chicago the day after my birthday... good news is that I'll be having a little one of my own that day in Mobile instead... more than makes up for it :teeth:
Bose... acutally I do need to head to the outlet stores sometime soon...

Suzanne, hope you get your eating habits back on track soon. And what a sweet employee... definitely a keeper!

Rose Mary  I know I kind of blew off typing earlier, but I am so sorry about your cousin. I've kept you and your mom (and all family) in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you get to enjoy the day with your mom.

JRKaren, enjoy TLK!!!! And thanks for hte hugs... back atcha!

Karen, glad you got a good nights sleep and yay for the earring!

Okay I need to fly... I may catch ya this evening after we are done filming. See y'all!

Happy Saturday Ya Yas!

Hope people are getting to sleep in and take it easy a little this weekend. It looks like a very quiet day at work (weekends usually are, and I had a very good forecaster working before me so I don't have to fool around making changes until new data comes in - yay!). I talked to my manager yesterday about possibly switching to a slightly different position. We'd talked about this before Christmas, and it was supposed to happen in January, but he's extended the schedule to March now and left me in the same spot. Turns out it depends if we hire new people and so forth. But he also gave me the option to move to a different, different position, so now I have to do something thinking about which I'd like to do. :scratchin

Nancy, still keeping my fingers crossed for Christin. 18 hour days, huh? Wow! Why would it work out like that? I did't know the name Chad Lindberg either, actually. Although I don't think I've seen any of the movies you mentioned he was in, so I don't feel as bad now.

SSB, glad to see you up and around. Don't overdo it this weekend. :)

Elaine, sorry to hear you've been having such a rough time. I don't want to violate the anti-mush protocol, but  anyway. ;) I hope this year is 1000 times better for you. Sounds like you have a fun-if-busy weekend ahead. Have a good time.

Pam, did you get those 600 thread sheets from overstock.com by any chance? I was looking at some of those. 600 count sounds so nice!

Kimmar, I have to say, when I was skimming the posts to see where I had to ketchup from and a picture of Sammy Davis Jr flew by, it made me laugh. I was wondering how he ended up in there.

JRKaren, sorry again about your sister's MIL. That's so sad for your niece and nephew. Hope you like the Lion King. You'll have to give us a review.

Hi Shep! Glad you've been having a great time with your girls.

Liz, please allow me to give the ketchup trophy back! That's a wild ketchup you had there! Glad you're feeling a bit better. Hope you continue to be on the upswing this weekend. Waiting is definitely the worst part of this whole school processs. I'll just have to keep YaYa-ing to keep myself occupied. ;)

Kristy, hope your headache abated. I hate how they can just knock you out.

Sherry, what is the cherry vanilla Dr Pepper like? Dr Pepper is my all time favorite drink. I'm not sure I like the idea of them messin' with it. ;) I'm interested though, since we don't have it here. What color did you get on your nails?

Suzanne, sounds like the house is getting there. You must be getting really excited. Sorry to hear you have to have surgery, though. Hope you can take it easy this weekend a bit, and the vertigo is soon a thing of the past!

Beth, that was a heck of a catch up too! And I didn't groan that loud at your joke, I promise. ;) The Firm program incorporates aerobics, step and weights (I have 3 dvds but there are tons out there). It's fun, and I really like weight training and steps so it's a good fit for me. Have you done the Walk Away the Pounds before? I've looked at that one in the store but never tried it. Is it fun? As for Yale .. shh! Don't jinx it! (Unless your dad can put in a good word for me - lol!).

Kimmie, I'm trying to scrap, really! Apparently it's just very hard to do when I don't bother to get pictures developed! :teeth: Honestly, we probably have $200 worth of film to get developed, spanning at least a year. Maybe this month. I also admit, I had no idea who Chad Lindberg was. I'll go back under my rock now.

Karen, cool beans about the new crock pot. I was looking at them online yesterday, but I'm not sure how it would work out to leave it for 12 hours. From what I can see, we'd be pushing the 4 hour 'keep warm' phase most of them have. Hooray for getting your missing earring back! That's great!

Hi Rose Mary and TC!

Ok, new data has arrived, so I've gotta get some work done. I'll try to check in later. Have a great day everyone.

Morning!

Woke up to a couple inches of snow and it is still snowing. I want summer back. :(

Elaine, how sweet of Luis. :)

Nancy, can't remember if I said it before or not, but good luck to Christin. I had to look up that Chad guy. I remember him from Fast & The Furious. ::yes::

Karen, I have my crockpot going this morning. Making Beef Stroganoff. :) Enjoy your roast. :) Yay for your found earring!

JRKaren, the Diet Cherry Vanilla DP is pretty good. The more I drink it, the more I'm liking it. :) Of course, nothing will replace my regular Diet Dr. Pepper. :teeth:

Todd, yay for getting the lights down. Ours are still up. Maybe they'll come down next week when we warm up in the mid-50's.

Caroline, the CV DP kinda just tastes like Cherry Grenadine added. I don't really taste the vanilla much, but that is probably just me. :teeth: I got a french manicure this time. :)

Good morning.

We got a dusting of snow last night :( It's in the forecast all next week. I also want spring to come!!

"My Buddy Chad" (Christin's name for him now :rotfl: ) was Jesse in F&F.....a geeky guy that got shot. I need to rewatch all those movies now to see what parts he had. Christin is watching TLS now to see where he was in it.
She did watch the Rookie, not knowing he was in it and saw him in that one.

 RM.

JRKaren......Lion King :hyper: I am still loving the memories of it.
I didn't uncheck any boxes

Ohhh...weird.,.....just was ready to hit post and noticed the box wasn't checked!! And I did NOT uncheck it

Elaine Im so glad things worked for your and Luis. Its very scary to think about losing someone you love.
SSB--good luck chasing the kids around this weekend. Hopefully they'll take it easy on you.
Sherry--I just cant seem to part with my regular DP--especially when having them with some tasty wings ;)
Caroline-- you are such a busy girl dont know how you have time for all those great ketchups.
Karen--I dont really use my crockpot to much but I need to since those are my kind of meals--toss and forget.
JRKaren--have fun at the show!
Nancy--keeping my fingers crossed for Christin!
Suzanne--so glad to hear the boys made a new friend and they all play well together. Anyone with more than 1 kid know thats a small miracle, lol.
TC--we are going to have to find a way to smuggle in your buttons for our special events. You could put some in diapers that are closed up like they have been "Used". I dont think security will want to check that out :p
Shep--glad you had a good time with the girls over Christmas break. I enjoyed having my kiddies home too!

So I decide I am going to go and invade Greg's nice big jacuzzi tub and relax a bit! Grab all the necessities, jammies, undies, towel and washcloth....he has everything else up there that I may need.....and while getting the washcloth and my favorite Princess towel... I spy the stash of LUSH bath bombs. I see a very pretty big and pink one!!! Oh and it smells great. I think I NEED this...so up the stairs I go thinking this is gonna be one great bath and jacuzzi. So I start running the water and in goes the bath bomb. Water turns PINK I mean really PINK but that is OK....it washes off...right? So into the nice, warm, relaxing, PINK tub I go. All of a sudden, I notice LOTS and I mean LOTS of little PINK confetti hearts. How in the world did Nancy get to my Bath bomb? That is all I can think of. So of course I am waiting for them to melt, these things do melt, right? WRONG!! They are paper.......so no jacuzzi. What fun is that? OK, so I will enjoy the good soak....but hey I am starting to feel well, yep, you guessed it......PINK! My skin is PINK! Oye!! So I let all the water out of the tub. Think twice about saving and drying all those cute little confetti hearts,(thinking I might be able to get them back to Nancy) but let them rush down the drain. Sorry Nancy, next time I will try harder. Well then I discover my tub is........PINK! So now I am PINK, the tub is PINK and I just took a bath!!! I grab the closest bar of soap, which happens to be a very nice bar of oatmeal sent by my good friend JRKaren and manage to wash the PINK off of me....but now what to do about the tub.......man is it PINK!!! So I get dressed in my comfiest of jammies and get the soft scrub out. Finally, after much scrubbing, and a few bad words here and there added just for color, the tub sparkles again. So that is it!! My story, and I am sticking to it!!! Almost as much fon as bathtime aerobics, huh?

...the Cat in the Hat [and Thing One and Thing Two] when ya need 'em???!?!?!

[Edit: today is my DH's b-day - - update on his conditon: I am happy to say that he has gained most of his weight and strength back, and yes, it IS getting easier to purchase food items and prepare his meals!!]

Yoo Hoo, Honeys!! I'm home!! :cool1: Banquet over - snow is falling, I am tired and grumpy!! ;)

Pam, that bed does sound heavenly!!! I need to get some high count sheets as well... where did you get yours from?

Elaine- Caroline answered for me - yep: overstock.com!! :jumping4: That's where I got the Memory Foam Toppers at, too!! And my son's Night Vision Monocular, and the ski goggles for both kids! My new shopping place.

Karen - yay on the found earring!

Hey - just thought - Liz could be one of the Pink Ladies from Grease OR Pinky Tuscadaro from Happy Days!! :rotfl: I slay myself sometimes..... :rotfl:

...anyone know where I can purchase a GOH badge for my DS for our upcoming trip??
