Happy Saturday! I feel like such a slug here, I just got out of the shower

and it's nearly 2PM! But, I guess I'm not a TOTAL slug, I baked muffins, cleaned up the kitchen, emptied the trash, cut coupons, made out my grocery shopping list, did a couple loads of laundry, made the bed, and did some general picking up and straightening around the rest of the house. Wish I felt like being more domestic, there is still plenty to be done!! Sun is shining, too and it just doesn't look or feel like January! The flu virus is just flourishing in this warm weather and is running rampant through the schools. We sure could use a good hard freeze for a week or so to kill it.
Elaine! Sorry things have been so tough for you lately and so nice to hear of Luis' sweet gesture with the roses! Certainly sounds like 2005 is going to be much better than 2004 for you two. Your cruise is getting so close, now, too!!
Whoo-hoo, Karen!! Glad to hear the earring was found! I'm thinking about doing a crockpot thing for tomorrow, too. Would certainly make it easier since I go to Bible study right when I would normally be cooking dinner.
JRKaren is doing TLK again?! Too cool!! Dave & I would both like to catch it one of these days. Didn't you say there was a trip to DC in your future? What the status on that and when? You know we'd love to play tour guide or plan a DIS meet for ya!
SSB, sounds like you are having a great time with your young'uns! We just saw Elf a couple of weeks ago for the first time--what a FUNNY movie!!
Kimmar, so good to hear your DH is making such good progress! I know it's been a strain for you and am so happy it's getting easier on ya.

Hope you can get that GOH badge for your DS--I've heard all kinds of positive stuff about calling and ordering all kinds of things from WDW--just never actually tried it myself.
What time is dinner, Sherry? Beef Stroganoff sounds soooo YUMMY!! I'm thinking I better add chuck roast to my shopping list. And a french manicure, too?! I just love that look! One of these days I'm going to get my nails all grown out at the same time so I can do it!
Overstock.com, huh? Never heard of it, so I guess I need to check it out! 600 thread count sheets sound sooooo luxurious, Pam! I'm thinking we could use one of those memory foam toppers, too. Just doesn't go with my mental picture of the outdoorsmen you live with, but I guess you've domesticated them to some extent, right?!

Sorry you're feeling grumpy now, here's a
. Hope you can sneak in a nap or at least some quiet time for yourself today.
Caroline, hope all works out that you can get whichever position you want at work! Now, could you send a bit of that cold and snowy weather down here?
Yes, I've tried the Walk Away the Pounds and I really like it! I've been sooooo out of shape and still been able to keep up with the program, it's that easy. It's really surprising how good a workout it gives you, too. The arthritis in my knees doesn't like the step programs, so a treadmill or this Walk Away program is about all I can handle besides swimming.
Oh, Nancy!! How frustrating that Christin missed her phone call! Even worse that she had to drive to town to get her message!! Keeping the prayer line wide open, crossing all my fingers and toes (when I'm not typing, that is), and sending out all the good vibes I can for her.
Deena, I'm with you on not parting with the regular DP! Always been my fave, too! Haven't seen any of those new flavors around here, but then, I haven't looked either. Glad you got a bit of cooler weather. Hope all your great boys are making good use of it and staying out of your hair!!

Hey, Rose Mary!! Hope you are feeling better and your mom is comforted, having you around this weekend. You are all in my prayers.
So, Todd, are you saying it took you over a year to get the lights down from Christmas 2003?! LOL!!! And yes, yes, YES!!! Plan a trip to Virginia and we'll take ya'll to the DC Children's Museum!! An' lots of other neat places, too!
Head's getting cold, better go dry my hair and head out to the grocery store.

Catch ya'll later!!
