Hello everyone! Got out of work at 3:00 today, and off until Monday! I love long weekends! I'm going to my sister's house tomorrow night. We usually play games and eat Mexican food on New Years Eve! Should be fun!

Evening everyone....spent the day shopping. Didn't get much. Had to return Mandy karaoke machine and they didn't have anymore...guess I will have to start looking again

Working on our pictures from Christmas, Mandy's birthday and Indy....will hopefully post links tonight, if anyone cares.

If Sherry is cleaning houses...put mine on the list for needing cleaned. Everytime I clean the counters off, within the hour they are cluttered again. This is because things keep coming from the vehicles or other areas of the house.

Sherry...have fun with your company coming in. We are going to my Dad's, church then to Todd's parents.

Snowwark...keep the chocolate away. I was bad enough today. Everyday I wake up and say, I going to get started on the YaYa weight loss program...not happening yet.

John...thanks for posting the pictures. I love seeing everyone.

Amanda, good luck finding a karoke machine for Mandy! I looked at some of the pictures. Your girls are adorable! Looks like Santa was good to everyone!

I've been on a scrapbook kick this week! I've done twelve pages in my scrapbook--I finally finished my May trip, and I'm almost done with my October trip! Then, I can start working on the Dec. trip (with it's 200 plus pictures). I have a special scrapbook just for that trip.

Had an incredibly busy a.m. Then went to run some errands p.m.--trying to gather stuff for next week.
DSsis was over this afternoon visiting my Mom when I got home. Short visit with her.
DH and I went to dinner. (local bar for wings).
I'm off all weekend! Yippee! I really need to unwind. Prepare to pack. Only have funeral service to attend. NYE will be spent sleeping or such.
DH works...on call til Monday.
Going to check in on family just now as I just got in the door. Washing DH's jacket in case he needs it over the weekend. (Tag says dry clean only...eek)

For those wanting me to clean your house, too, forgeddaboudit. I'm not even done with mine. I had most of it cleaned up, and now my living room is filled with a kitchen table and kitchen chairs, and my kitchen is filled with crap from my garage. We're getting a new garage door tomorrow and everything needs to be out of the way, so Junior and the boys are putting things in the kitchen. ARGH!

I have a question for my scrapbooking Yaya sistahs. What do you use to for adhesive to affix your pictures to the pages? I loved the old style tape runner that creative memories, but my sister said they don't make it anymore. I tried a pioneer one, and it doesn't work very well. I also try a xyron one, but it has this bar thing that leaves indents on things. I've been using the end of my creative memory tape runner and photo squares lately. Just wondering if I'm missing out on trying something.

Hey Karen! I'm not a scrapbooker but I do like the roll tape adhesives by Tombow, have you tried this brand? I've tried Pioneer's version-AWFUL! Tombow is GREAT...no dents, smooth and easy to use.

Great pictures! You never realize how tall people are until they're standing all together like that. Now someone stand next to Lainey. And I love the Xmas pictures!

I survived the skating, need chocolate.

Good Morning Everyone!!

Been up since about 5 AM which is what happens when you fall asleep at 6 PM and sleep through dinner ROFL. Dh said he called me several times to get me up to eat but I wouldn't budge LOL. Just gonna take it easy today and pull down the rest of the stuff from the tree and get it out of the house. Tonight will be shrimp scampi for din din ala dh who makes the best there is, then snacks and movies, and then a toast at midnight IF Im still awake LOL. I would be more than happy to nappy for anyone who needs one today.

Nancy those dresses are BEAUTIFUL. I love the plum color too! Im sorry you are still having computer problems. I hope the boys can get it fixed before they leave.

I just went outside to feed the cat. I got such a peaceful feeling out there. Its still dark, breezy, cool, with a hint of rain in the air. It was just such a nice feeling.

Okay, now you all will find this amusing I'm sure, especially those with kids...ugh
Ethan had me up a couple of times last night (teething! yuck!) So when Jar got up this morning he did what he was supposed to do. He let mom sleep and he went downstairs to his pop tarts, milk, and Play House Disney. I got up about 7 to give to feed Ethan but then I went back to bed. Left my door open so i could hear Jar. Well, apparently I slept too well because I came downstairs to find..
3 open snack sized bags of goldfish and dolphins...they were strewn on the table and the floor

lego soccer players from MacDonald's in position to kick the said gold fish (apparently they didn't have a ball so they were using goldfish)

a pair of sharp scissors which had opened the said goldfish

the gallon of milk sitting in the floor in front of the fridge with the cup which needed to be refilled

pop tarts half eaten and strewen on the dinning room table

Needless to say I was not a happy camper that he had decided to "help" himself. I wouldn't have minded the goldfish so much if he had opened one bag and EATEN them and then opend the next one. But to open 3 bags and not eat any of them really frosted my wheaties!!! I told him he couldn't leave the table until he finished eating the goldfish! He did, or at least i think he did, he may have given some to the dog. I think she is the one who cleaned up the floor. I told him he had to do it but I doubt he is the one who did it!! I hope this is not an omen as to what will come in 2005!!
