You know Rose Mary, I was really hoping for shorts wearing weather... 70s means the evenings and the mornings could be in the 50s... that's awfully close to the jeans wearing temps. So can we say cooler this week for you, and most of next with my trip falling right around 80 with cloud covered nights so it only goes down to 60?

As for the other days you are open, call one of us and we'll make sure you are busy and have a blast

Hi kimmar! One night of concierge will be fun. Did you decide to do the Sunrise Safari the day you are leaving?

Yes, I booked Sunrise Safari for Tuesday, when we check out to head over to FT W cabins. Don [concierge-AKL] was wonderful! He explained to me that, even if I check out on Tuesday, as long as I call ahead to have my luggage transferred to Ft W, I can still enjoy concierge at AKL for the day! Also, since I will already be checked into AKL on the Saturday before, when we change for concierge on Monday, even if our room isn't ready, we can still use concierge facilities for the whole day!! Apparently someone has beem spreading some PD my way....

Sorry, Lainey, I don't get in until midnight, so I won't even be to the resort till 1AM, at the earliest, probably. Dave should be getting there early afternoon or so and he is thinking of doing Osborne Lights that evening to take pix. If you want to see a BCV studio, Friday or Saturday is it, for now. Do you have Dave's cell number?

Hmmm......Nancy's package is in the city, but not delivered?? Hmmmm....I came home to a notice on my door that the PO has a "parcel" for us. Could it have come from the Pacific Northwest??!!! What ticks me off is that the mail person didn't bother to leave it at the leasing office (we have a package delivery room)where somebody could have signed for it, so we have to go pick it up at the PO. And, of course the PO is only open while we're at work. It will just have to wait till Wednesday, when Dave is off.

Lily, what time will you be jogging by on sunday morning? I'll make sure I'm hanging over my balconey rail to wave to you!! (I'll be sleeping Sat. morning, if Dave will let me!!)

For those of you coming soon, today it was 83! Gotta get used to this-I've been leaving for work early in the am when it's around 60, so I put on a pair of jeans and a long sleeve shirt today. I had my own personal summer going on!

Bethie, right now it looks like I've got Tuesday the 7th and Thursday the 9th off. Prime Time will be great, but I eat everything they put out, so I won't be doing any singing.

Does anyone know when the MegaMouse meet is going on?

I may head over to property that Sunday night after work and say hi to those leaving before my days off.

I got the last thing I needed for my exchange and the mall tonight. Kevin asked for a trip to the mall, just him and me. It was nice...just wish we could have that kind of quiet trip on a daily basis-we can't take Neil anywhere they might have video games, sell video game stuff, etc.

Lainey, I got to crawl back into bed after the kids went off to school-and slept until the phone rang at 11!

I have a confession to make-I AM A SEE'S ADDICT!!!! They have the BEST peanut brittle bars and I sent one of my employees to get me one to have after lunch yesterday, lol. Then I was looking around the mall I took Kevin to, hoping there was a See's kiosk. No dice-but they had the Hickory Farms that my mall is missing.

Off to make a snack-had a late lunch and only now am getting hungry!

Drove by our home site today, and amidst all the houses finished and nearing completion, there was something new...

A Frame out and the foundation dug out! They'll probably pour the foundation tomorrow!! Woohoo!!!!!!

I do want to see Osborne Lights but figure they can wait. Or... I could high tail it over to MGM before it closed and check out the lights more than once this trip, meet Dave adn then go to Illuminations... how's that for packing it in on one day (Luis will never come bakc with me )

I checked and Dave's number did make it in my cell (I only got half my D's in there ) so as long as it hasn't changed in the last year or so, I've got it!

Please be careful with the zinc cold remedies. I recently read a study online that said that people who used the zinc nose sprays and swabs have suffered permanent loss of their sense of smell. The research hasn't figured out why, but you should be careful to not use too much of a good thing.

Hey all you world travlers, I have a quesiton for you. My sweetie is sending a Holiday exchange package to a girl in the UK (Nottingham, England) and he is clueless as to what to send. So.... for all you who might have a clue on this (been too long since I've traveled to the UK) is there anything you can get in the US, that you cannot get in the UK that she might like? I remember oreos, but he wanted more ideas than that. So if you have any good ideas, I'd appreciate it

Thanks for that warning John! I might actually enjoy it if I lost some smell But most of hte time I stick to the Zinc tablets... they seem to work just as well as Zicam for me. Feeling okay today though... a little stuffy but not awful. I hope you don't get sick... sucks when co-workers share (which they did here)
