Liz, I do hope you feel much better soon! Being sick isn't fun. And good luck with the job... I had something like that when I was looking for a job... I admit I wound up taking the one I currently have. They just waited far too long to get the position officially open & filled (3 months actually). My boss was upset when I took the ohter job but understood... she realized I couldn't wait so long w/o a job. She even had asked me to write the job description so that they knew it would fit me... I know a bit different but I understand the frustration.

John, I do hope they can fix those sidewalks... the black ice sounds very dangerous!!!!

LOL, well I am only doing the tour by myself and giving up Candelight Processional (I still plan to listen to it at least one night). It kind of washes out. I'll be glad ot give a review of it... just hope I have good weather for it

Just popping in. Sorry I haven't been around but I've been sick. I'm back down with another nasty cold that's headed into my chest again.

Been dealing with a lot of financial stuff and with what's going to happen for Christmas with the family. I'm afraid we are not going to be too popular this year. We are only doing cards to the neices and nephews. We just can't afford five extra gifts. We have to take care of our own first and formost and I refuse to stress us out further financially just to do Christmas. It's the way it has to be. If they cant understand that then it is their problem and not ours.

HI LILLY!!!!! Glad dh is doing well in Buffalo. It does get nasty cold there early in the season. Im originally from Buffalo NY.

Deena I was like "say what" with the vote counts too. Every station you looked at had a different one.

TC glad to hear they are doing something about the sidewalks to make it safer for you but you are right the people installing it should know better than to have a dip form in it. That's just gonna set up for some problems when the snow and ice season hits for you.

Liz Im sorry to hear you are sick too. Seems this thing hits twice not once. My coworker is down with her second bout of it too and I think the same thing happened to Beth. Once will be enough with me though. I can't afford to get it twice since I get so very sick with anything I get. I will be saying lots of prayers about the job. I hope you hear something very soon.

Beth, I think that's a great idea, however I think I would rather see everyone on ToT or something like that Perhaps those there the shortest amount of time could add in what park they'd like too so they don't feel like they have to miss out

Went shopping for a dress today for a wedding I am going to in about 3 weeks. Beth, you'll be proud... found a $75 dress for $32 I did put back a couple silk dresses though... just didn't like how they fit

Karen, gifts of time are mostly what we offer in our family. We are all so busy, that to stop and get together, call or whatever is what we seem to need/enjoy more than gifts.

I get to be boss yesterday and today as mine is away. Ted comes home from Buffalo today. Glad to have him instead of Mickey.

Oh, I didn't tell ya. We have those really large Mickey and Minnie stuffed toys sitting on chairs in our bed room. When I came home from work after DH left for Buffalo, I found Mickey tucked in very nicely under the covers on Ted's side of the bed.

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been scarce the past few days. I really hate it when life gets in the way of DISing sometimes I do read, but I just don't always have the time to post.

I had my performance evaluation at work the other day. I had all highest level on every marking point! I won't find out what my raise and bonus will be until early December (the letter will most likely come when I'm at Disney, so I won't find out until I get home), but my boss told me that my raise should be above 4%, and my bonus should be above 2.5% so yay!

I'm thinking about breaking down and buying DVC. I crunched the numbers, and since I'd most likely be getting a studio when I go, and seems like a good value to me. If I do buy, though, I'm going to do a resale, and buy at the Boardwalk or the Beach Club. I want my home resort to be near my bar

Lily, glad to hear that your hubby is home! I'm sure he's nice than a stuff Mickey, but I'm also sure there are days you'd like to trade him for that stuffed Mickey

Pam, you said no soup for Elaine for being a slacker? If your cooking it with some roadkill, it would probably make more sense to make her eat it--that would be a bigger punishment. We have a couple of Roadkill Cafes up here in New England, by the way.

Elaine, don't you hate it when IT keeps you from getting your work done? I hate it when my systems go down because I can't get anything done--90% of my job involves one software program, and if I can't access it, I can't work.

Karen, sorry you are going through a rough stretch right now. Hopefully things will turn around for you soon.

Bethie, I like your idea for a Yaya meet, but I can't make it on the 5th I have plans to meet another DISer at Epcot to see Off Kilter that day, and then in the evening, I'm going to the CP with another DISer.

Just as another idea, what about meeting for Wishes on the 4th? The MK is opened until 11:00 that night, and Wishes is at 9:00. And then, everyone can come ride Splash Mountain with me. Riding Splash Mountain with me is an adventure
