Good morning.

I got locked out last night before I could say good night  I hate when that happens.

Amanda....feel better.
Suzanee...good luck with the upcoming surgery.

:wave2: Sherry, John, Elaine, Lily, RM and everyone else too :)

Uggggghhhhh.........it's Monday.......Don't know if it's the weather or uncomfortable chairs, but I feel like that cranky old woman who has a list of complaints and ailments a mile long. Suffice it to say, I hurt, and am eating both Alleve and Motrin just to be able to move.

Spent Saturday making Christmas cards--got about 45 completely done and another 15 are almost done! I plan to get them all addressed and ready to go BEFORE Halloween, too!! Then I will probably forget to pick up stamps and they still won't go out till Christmas Eve!

Sherry, sorry your SIL showed up to help and then ya'll got rained out. Isn't that just typical?! sorry you didn't get to the concert, either. Just one of those days, huh? Hope today is MUCH better for you, in spite of the cold!

:earseek: RM got a tatoo??!! Sounds very nice!! And now they've "built" ya'll another parking lot office. Good grief! Any idea how much longer it will be before you can get back to 4 walls and air conditioning? Good luck and God bless ya'll for the work you are doing down there. Hope you don't have to put up with any more crazed idiots who plan to "take care" of ya.

Gonzo rocks! Without him and Rizzo, Muppet Christmas Carol would've been a disaster. HEY! A Muppet Lord of the Rings!! Yeah! I'd watch!! Gonzo the Dunedain Ranger... cool!
And I suppose we'd have to let Miss Piggy play Galadriel.
 Although I really think she'd do MUCH better as Shelob!!! LOL!!! And, Kimmie, I sure hope Crunk is feeling better today. Give that furbaby a hug for me and keep a big one for yourself.

Yippee and Whoo-hooo, Tina is going back to DL!!! Have you settled on a resort yet?? Glad to hear you are getting at least a few degrees cooler, out there. Can't be fun to be so dang hot all the time!

LOL, I just smile and ::yes:: when ya'll start talking about football OR Survivor (or any of the other reality or home improvement/makeover shows. Kinda like ya'll do when I talk Star Trek or Stargate!! I admit it, I live in a fantasy world.

Nancy, I have to agree with you--geology is fascinating! It was the 2nd science class in my entire life that I liked!! In fact, the volcano is just about the only thing that makes me want to see Hawaii. Drove thru the original devastation from "your" volcano back in the 80s, either coming or going from our stint in Alaska--I can't remember. Just hope she keeps it to hiccups and doesn't decide to "toss her magma" again!

Lily, my mom always told me it was the negative ions in the air that made me feel depressed whenever it rained. Hope yesterday's sunshine stayed all day and you are back to your cheery self today. Glad that you got to enjoy a clambake with friends--that sounds like a lot of fun!!

Todd and Amanda had a weak moment and now have a new family member!! Glad the street sale was so much fun and the girls have a new furbaby to play with. You didn't buy the street, now, did you?!

LOL, Deena!! You are soooooo right about the fingers thru the cage!!! The hamsters I had wouldn't bother to sniff your hand though. They bit anything that came into the cage! Sorry you are still suffering with the heat down there. We are very close to turning on our furnace, here, like Lil. Just don't want to yet.....

Tara, so sorry you've caught the flu bug! Maybe you'll get lucky and catching it so early in the season means you won't be getting it later on with everybody else. Hope you feel better soon, though.

JRKaren, that was certainly a LONG day you put in yesterday!! Remember, you LIKE the money!! Glad you got lunch and a new camera out of it. Just think, you'll be able to break that puppy in really quick in less than 3 weeks!!!

Laine, your bread thingies sound positively YUMMY!! Kinda like the garlic/cheese biscuits at Red Lobster? So, is your coworker back to shoulder her own load yet? Hope this week is easy on ya. Maybe if you ask nice, Luis will trade parking spots with you a little early? Or you could suddenly remember that it's your turn now?!! And I love your new siggie pic-- just yesterday I was admiring the one Nancy gave me with Thumper on it! I'm organizing my "souvenirs" and pix for scrapping ;)

Hey, Suzanne dropped in too!! Sorry that vein keeps acting up, but sure am glad to hear the clot dissolved! If you have surgery next month, will you be back on your feet and ready to go for the big December Ya Ya Meet at WDW? Hope it all heals fast and leaves you alone!!

TC, that restaurant sounds pretty darn good!! Especially that apple cinnamon thing--one of our favorites! Sorry to hear about Sue's uncle, though. Adding him to the prayer list now.

Lizzie, Lizzie, Lizzie!!! Where the heck are you, girl??!! Sure hope some irate Subway customer (who thought your survey questions meant you were gonna follow him home with your axe) doesn't have you locked in the slammer somewhere!! Do we need to send Pam out with the bail money??

Speaking of Pam, there's another Ya Ya who has been MIA lately! Deadline, shipping and invoicing should be done for the month, I think. Must be she's so busy with it being roadkill season and all. Undoubtedly, her house is looking a bit like this now.......

  to any and all I've missed--that means you, Alan and Kristy! And Jeannie--hope all is well in her little world and she comes back to play with us again soon!!

Morning yayas!

John, so order the hot, huh? We go to hooters and get three mile island shrimp. Got Kevin hooked on them. And yummy ribs, guess I know where I'm going when I go clean mom's later this week! She's still recovering from that ankle, so I'm being the good daughter. :) Don't tell my siblings, but I'm the favorite, lol.

Off to the shower, I've been good and kept the leg propped up. Basically what's happened is that I got cellulitis and the vericose vein is spreading. The leg has been swollen for about 6 months now, and nothing works, so I'll have a vein stripped. About a week off my feet, but I'll be okay in time to come meet some yayas on my days off.

As a matter of fact, two of my coworkers will wheel me around Epcot while I'm off from work. No ECV, because the leg has to be up, lol!

Suzanne

Amanda, I hope you are feeling much better soon. Not a good day for my sinuses either :(

John, I rarely go to Quaker Steakk... but it sure sounds like some place Luis would love. Y'all can strike me down, but I am not much for ribs or wings :o

Nancy, sorry you got locked out. I hate it when that happens.

Bethie, Christmas cards already? I just thought about putting an order in for some cards that I saw... I am just so bad about getting them out.
Oh and I am pretty sure that Red Lobster uses cheddar cheese instead of parmesean. But I am not sure since I pretty much never go there. The last time I went was for lunch after my sister's graduation from college (1998). I hate seafood and rarely go to places like that. Anywho... they were good all the same.
Oh and I set the schedule for the garage. I could've told him last week, but it isn't worth me doing this just because I am getting wussy ;) I'll be glad to give him teh street spot next week though ::yes::

but yep, I think my siggy is cute... Thumper was too ;)

Suzanne, that is so nice of your co-workers to do that for you! Take care of your leg :)

RM got a tattoo!! Woo hoo!! Still a chicken butt here.

Viggo biting?!? Oh my! The visual!! :faint:

Beth---Awesome ketchup...:hyper:

Nancy--:wave2:

John--that Quaker State name cracks me up every time i hear it..:jester:

Elaine--gloves?:earseek: .garage switching?:earseek: ..2 car garages are so nice..:o :duck:

Rosemary--:wave2:

Lily--:wave2:

Suzanne--big dog?:earseek: the hamster gave us 'that look' and we couldn't say no...well, i couldn't :o ..of course I had to go by the cage & everything ..

Kim--Viggo biting..:earseek: ....You can sit through LOTR for 2 1/2 hours but not a football game or survivor...oh wait a minute...nevermind..:duck:

I've got to agree with Todd; the name Quaker Steak does not conjure good images.

Mrs. AA and I finally ordered some ribs from Dreamland (regional) which is supposed to be all the rage, and they were good, but not "all that"

*LOVE* the pic there Kimmar!!! He's so sexy, isn't he? :teeth:

LOL, Todd... football is a lot harder to sit through than LOTR... for one thing it *is* longer than the TE releases of any of the movies ;)

And yeah, a 2 car garage would be nice... kind of hard to get around here w/o being detached though. Homes built in 1940s & 1950s had no need for a 2 car garage. And I'll take a 1 car attached over a 2 car detached (taking up backyard space and making fencing harder) any day ::yes::

So there :duck:

Alan, I have to admit, the first time I heard of Quaker Steak, I didn't realize at first it was a food place. Actually from the outside you might not either :p

:wave2:

Jared stayed home from school today. He's had a tummy ache since last night. :(

Love Quaker Steak!! :hyper: Haven't been in awhile, though.

Beth is doing Christmas cards? Wow! I don't even have my Halloween decorations up yet and your on cards. I better get busy! :teeth:

Amanda, feel better soon.

Its cold here today. Brr! I refuse to turn the heat on, though. I've just been sitting around bundled up in a blanket. :)

......Pammie's been doin' her food shopping at, uhhhh "Roadkill Costco's"??!?!?!

Hi Ya Yas!

Beth, what can I say!? Ok everyone, what she said. ;) Hope yo feel better for the rest of the week. Christmas cards already. Whew you are organized. I like that fantasy world when it comes to shows too better than the real world things.

RM, good to hear from you.

Elaine, that is a great way to share a garage. Gloves, already! Oh dear me. I don't want to face this yet. I need to remember, no sea food (I'm with ya there), no ribs, no wings. What's left?

Amanda, hope your mind unfogs too. Sinus problems are such a bother.

Suzanne, hope your leg is better way soon. That is nothing to take lightly so be careful please.
Oh, and yes, order the hot!

Todd, I can see that that hamster must have you wrapped around its little "finger" too. Do they have little fingers to wrap people around?

Hi Kimmar!
Hi Alan!

Aw Sherry, sounds like you are going to have "it" running through your house soon. Hope Jared is feeling better.

Yes, HE is ;)

2 car garage.....that actually has 2 cars in it? Never will happen here ;)

:moped:

Hope everyone is feeling better.

Sherry, no heat??? I couldn't have made it through the night (I think) w/o it. We don't keep the house very warm during the winter so starting now even with heat on, I still have blankets covering me.

LOL, Kimmar!!

Lily, I leave for work at about 6:30 in the morning... still dark and cold out so I needed the gloves this morning. Okay I didn't *need* them, but I really felt happier touching the steering wheel when I got them on.
As for food? Well I honestly am very picky. I don't mind wings much, but in general the sauces don't agree with my stomach :( I do love boneless wings with a little spicey teriyaki on them ::yes:: Otherwise... well... let's just say it isn't varied with what I like :p

Nancy, ahem... wrong guy ;) But I suppose yours isn't half bad either. My dad actually has a 2 car garage... we wouldn't want to afford his house though... and he does keep two cars in it. We figure that's what the basement is for (storage) ;)

LOL...well, maybe our lawn mower can count as a car ;)

CODES came out!! :hyper:

Laundry is calling

Just popping in really quick before dinner (wow, my brother cooked--I hope I survive).

After my 10 hour work day yesterday, I put in another hour and a half today, and will probably do another hour tomorrow as well. I'll be racking up that OT money. I deserve it after the day I had today. Yikes.

I found $20 on the sidewalk before work today. I was walking down the street, and I saw a folded $20 bill. Looked around to see if anyone who could have dropped it was around, but there was no one in sight. So I picked it up and pocketed it. I figured if I didn't take it it would have either blown into the river, or the next person who walked by would have taken it.

Well, that's all for now. Later.

:wave2:

Went to my inlaws and my SIL officially announced that she is pregnant! She goes to the dr. tomorrow for the blood test, etc. I am SOOOOO excited!! :jumping1:
MIL ordered us pizza so I didn't have to cook today. :teeth:

Yay for the $20 JRKaren! :bounce:

Where's our Pammy? I hope she's watching Fear Factor.......they are "dining" at the Road Kill Cafe. :rotfl: :rotfl:

YAY!!!!!! Glad the codes came out, Nancy!!! I'll have to go look to see how they were :hyper:

Wow, lots of time into work, Karen! Not sure I could ever be so dedicated!

and now I can officially say Congratulations to your SIL, Sherry :bounce:

Not sure when Pammydoodle is... I sure miss her :(

Evening everyone.....stopped in with a quick question????

What does http:// stand for in an internet address? Sister has a test and believes this will be asked...told her I had wonderful friends who could help;)
