Well, Cranberry Chutney isn't the "offically" Nov. scent....are you talking Yankee store or the other stores that sell them? They always do their own......so check and see what it is for Dec.
Our craft store has Banana Nut Bread for Nov. But the "offical" Yankee is Home Sweet Home.

I do believe that Finding Neverland opens today most places....which reminds me to go look. If so, I see that as a Sunday happening
If was open some places early for "sneak" peaks.

No Finding Neverland at our local theater (well the one 20 miles away) It is playing at the one 50 minutes away though. Hate to do that.....it is over by the BIG mall and it will be a zoo on the weekends now.

Ack! My package is going to be the last one sent. I promise to get it sent out on Friday. I have everything and I just need to box it up. I promise!!!

Ooohh! All you scrappy scrappers have got me getting the itch to try it. So whilest I was visiting the Mouse House I kept seeing all of the neat scrapping stuff for disney. So I had to buy $ome.....I would have to $ay I $pent a few dollar$ on the $tuff I bought. I think I bought one of everything. My DSIL has asked her sister to bring her finished Disney books to dinner tomorrow so I can see what she has done. Apparently she has some great stuff. I decided to buy the stuff after I had been to a couple of the restaurants and not picked up any fliers or menus from the places. Now i have to creat my own! ugh!

Anyway, Patches is doing very well. She cried all night last night because we weren't right with her. Even though she could climb into any of our beds when she wanted to! But today she is not as whiny. I think she will be fine in a few days.

I still haven't downloaded my pictures yet, but I will, I promise. This weekend while the dis is down i will be decorating for Christmas. That way when jar gets home on Sunday night he will have the decorations to see!!

Gotta fix me some leftovers. Hopefully I'll be back tonight to ketchup on all the pages I missed last week.

It is always so fun to receive a package. DS was hoping it was for him but, I KNEW it was mine, mine, mine. Wanna know what I got huh, huh, huh??????

A beautiful Coca Cola ornament
Christmas socks w/Santa heads on them

A fabulous Micky & MInnie ornament called "world class shoppers"
And last but not least, Hope is so very, very excited! She is gonna be the best dressed BAB for Christmas: a red velvet dress and some beautiful red glitter shoes. She can't wait to wear her new outfit to Disney......................

This is precisely how I feel after opening my exchange box!! Nancy, you were bad, bad, bad!!! Yes, you certainly DID get carried away! Dave's comment was that you have to be careful cuz he can't have you spoiling me more than he does. That's HIS job!! LOL!!!!

Must tell you all about the other gift I got last night--got me all choked up!! The little girls I babysit for at church were just grinning and giggling to beat the band when they arrived. "Miss Beth, we brought you a present!" See, I won't let the choir director pay me--I get such joy out of playing Grandma with the girls, that's pay enough in my book! So they bought me a gift instead:

And the best part is all three girls have that same strawberry blonde hair, just like this little one!!

Lily, aren't those pumpkin cheesecake bars simply divine??!!! Good thing I had a couple of events I could share them at! Hard to keep from going back for more!

I second that HUGE thank you to Nancy for sharing that recipe! I was thinking about making those cookies this weekend too. Birthday cookies instead of cake, ya know?!

Tara, I am sooooooo glad to hear Patches is home again! I bet she will settle down soon. And isn't that scrapbooking stuff great??!! I think I bought 6 of those kits Maybe we can plan a get together for some scrapping!

Happy Thanksgiving yayas. I'm off to bed here in a minute, but wanted to say that my package is headed North and West, but has no card inside. Oops. Realized that a few things didn't make it in, but will probably get to my yaya after I visit 25 days of Christmas again...they've got the best thingies my yaya likes

Another long day at work, but I can sleep in and go to Mom's in the afternoon.

Well Im wide awake. Not having a good night tonight with pain.

The exchange packages are GREAT. I wish I could have participated this time but money was too tight. Next time though!

Gonna make a turkey in the morning. We are going out to dinner with extended family but dinner is at 1 PM and I figure by about 7 we are going to be starving again. I figured I would make up the turkey in the morning and put it in the fridge and then just heat it up in the oven while I made the other stuff on the stove for din din about 7. It will also feel good to have a just my little family type of dinner so that we can connect. With ten people at the lunch dinner things are gonna get hectic with everyone talking at once. I would like a little quiet connective family time too.

Connecting is what this weekend will be for us. We have absolutely no plans, dont have to be anywhere nor do anything this weekend except church on Sunday. I plan on making this time for us as a family. Our lives are so hectic normally with all that we do and with the kids and school and homework etc.... This weekend is going to be pure bliss with just time to do the things we want to do as a family, play games, spend quality time with one another, enjoy the easy pace. Makes me smile just to think about it.

Good Morning!

Happy Thanksgiving Ya Ya's!

Just got my bird in about 15 minutes ago. We will head to my mom's with it when it is done (I also am doing the potatoes). We're eating early this year. After hanging out over there for awhile, we are heading to my inlaws. Hopefully we can fry our turkey there as it is REALLY windy here. Rainy, too.

The dinner at church went well. We had TONS of food and pretty much EVERYTHING went. We gave away lots of desserts, too. We had LOTS of kids come in from the community and it was great. They were so happy.

Beth, wow, what a package. And how sweet of those little girls to get you a gift.

Yay, Rose Mary got her package too. Have fun with your sister's and great-nephew.

Elaine, hope your feeling better today.

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!

I'm staying home and doing nothing by choice today. My sister is having most of my family over, but I'm just not a big Thanksgiving fan, so I'm staying home and relaxing. I don't really enjoy the turkey dinner, and it always is the same thing--the men fall asleep on the couch, the kids go off and play, and the woman clean up and talk. I just don't feel like doing that this year. My family think I'm depressed because it's the first Thanksgiving without my mom, but I'm not. I just have no interest in it.

Everyone enjoy your day, and be safe in your travels no matter how near or far they are.
