Karen, good to hear that things are settling in with your kidlets. My advice again is to put everything in his IEP. Even allowing late turn in if you can verify his doing the work. This is a problem he has and you are working on it with him. Don’t punish his grade because of that part. (Just my opinion via experience we did not do at first)

I am leaving work after ½ day to take Ted to Doc for follow-up then on to PT today. He seems to be doing quite well. Hoping that the doc will concur. My ½ marathon training is progressing. I thought I was doing ok, but my brother who is a marathoner and half-marathoner said after we walked 4 miles together this Sunday that I best increase my mileage or I won’t be able to make it. I am trying.

Liz, are you sure that you want me to make a Sim Liz in Sims 2. You can't have blue hair, but I could give you some pretty wild makeup. There are more ways to tortue Sim Liz in Sims 2 than there was in Sims 1. And I still say you were careless with those cake crumbs. Don't blame it on Tara. She's much to busy with those boys.

RM so good to hear from you. How are things going. I know Im very nervous about this storm. It looks to be tracking right at Florida again. We are well within the cone of error also as you cant just go by the forcast track. I am unfortunately on the SOUTHEAST side of the state in Broward County. I guess we will know soon enough where Jeanne is going they say by this weekend it will hit. Im praying for little damage and no power outages....I know I know yeah right.

Lily. I am going to talk to the IEP people about the late work on Tuesday when we meet. He will be meeting with an ESE specialist twice a week to work on organizational skills so hopefully that will help. Thats all I know about what they will be offering him at this point. He does the work he just either sticks it in his desk and it doesnt get turned in or he forgets to turn it in and it stays in his binder reminder. Weird thing is it isnt all the time nor all subjects. Science seems to be the big bugger with him. I keep wondering if it has to do with the time of day that part of class is. I am also meeting with his teacher tomorrow to go over his science grade since the work has been turned in and he has had a two part test in it. We will also work on some organizational things we can bring to the meeting on Tuesday. I have some ideas but I want to run them past the teacher first.

No fighting for computer time. I've been around more than you have Just not much to say.

There seemed no interest in a fall exchange (from the couple people I mentioned it to) and a lot of our "exchange regulars are MIA

Maybe a holiday one again? Any interest or thoughts? Stocking again? Or some other idea?

Know what you mean---I've been reading every day, but I either run out of time, just don't have the energy, or the boss is wandering around my desk

I'll vote for a holiday exchange! Stockings or baskets or sleighs or whatever!!
