I'm feeling a little Ya-Ya today. Can I be a Ya-Ya? I do solemnly swear to uphold the Ya-Ya code to the best of my ability!!

Yep! That's me and my baby in our first park on our first day of our first trip to WDW. Notice how fresh we look? I would let you fastforward five days to see how unfresh we looked by the time we went home but that evidence has been destroyed. And please, call me Susie!

Morning y'all. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHERRY!!!!!

Welcome aboard Stacy and Paula. I'm Kristy and have been married to DH Derek for almost 2 years now. He'll be 39 in Feb and I'll be 28 in April. We have three cats Kilo, Lima and Max. I work fulltime and go to school in the evenings for my BS in Business Management. This semester I'm taking Spanish. My hobbies are reading, scrapbooking and spending a lot of time with my niece (the precious one in my signature). My cabana boys are Tim McGraw and Matthew McConnehy(sp?).

I'm slacking on the ketchup today.
Karen congrats on getting 6 hours of sleep. I'll check into the Venison and see if I can get some sausage shipped to you.
Pam your shopping day sounds eventful. Ouch on the pocketbook though.
Nancy YAY for Christin's interview..sorry to hear about the other job though. Keeping my fingers crossed that she's able to find a job that she likes for the time being.

I took my Explorer in this morning for new tires. That will set us back $400. It's going to be another blah day for me even though I have plenty of piddly work to do like copying expense reports

Good morning!

Any special birthday plans, Sherry? And Kimmie? ;) Remind Tom that you need more presents!!
share Johnny.....well, maybe on your REAL birthday ;)
I like Kimmar picture of Viggo better than the geeky one too :)

We warmed up here :bounce: Snow is almost gone.
I'm looking forward to apartment looking.....love doing things like that. She only wants to look at one first. It is perfect....so with the way things are going ti won't work out
She is willing to work in a restaurant of something to get it....until something better comes along.

Actually Elaine, she is excited about the Science Center job....said she would volunteer to do it for free (she does the kidlet things all the time)...so getting $130 for each sleepover is nice.

Not sure if Jeannie is updated on the cabana men. I think she just grabs them and then disappears for awhile :)
I used to have a back up copy...but, you know that computer thing

Have a good day everyone!!

Hi all!

Just got back from the grocery store. Waiting for Junior's tests to get done. Might go to Red Lobster for lunch. :teeth:

Thanks everyone for the b-day wishes. :) And, cool, Kimmie is my b-day buddy. :bounce:

Nancy, aside from maybe going to RL for lunch, and picking up my gifts from my inlaws (they called last night! LOL), we are going to Cheesecake Factory this weekend with my mom and brother. We always go out for our b-days (me and mom are 5 days apart).

Karen, congrats on 6 hours of sleep! :jumping1:

John, your post made me :rotfl:

Welcome, shatzjsl! Great pic in your siggie.

Kimmie, Viggo looks creepy and geeky in that pic! :duck: I'd rather see the nakey one. :hyper: :faint:

I guess I should do a quick intro, huh? I'm Sherry, 34 today, married 15 years in April to Junior, have 4 wild boys: Jonathan 14, Jordan 12 (almost 13!), Jared 11, and Julian 8. Have a kitty named Tinkerbell who is 3. I'm a SAHM and I like to DIS and read when I have the time. :) My cabana boys are Cameron Mathison and Josh Duhamel. :)

First of all - Happy Birthday Greetings to Sherry!! :cool1:

Elaine,,,,my DD bought a Dell - Inspiron 5169 0 she was going to wait and buy one for college next year but she got an IPOD and Sims2 for Christmas and could not load either on out "outdated beast" of a computer.

Nancy....are you sure you won't share Johnny with me????

Oh cool more <s>suckers</s> newbies!!! I love newbs :teeth: ;)

Welcome Susie!!!! You made me laugh with your picture comment! I have seen you around though and loved your sig pic quite a bit!!!

Kimmie, you should know by now that you should be happy with any non-disgusted comment I make about Viggo or Apolo. Anything nice is amazing out of me ;)
And oops, sorry, didn't mean to get you in trouble then. I suppose we need to take that away from you and lock it up with other things I am not sure you should have your hands on... while I am at it, I'll swipe your ToJ again ::yes::

Nancy, I am glad that Christin is excited about the job then! I just think they shouldn't ask so much of a person who would be doing so little. The job itself does sound like fun. Glad the snow is almost gone now though!

Kristy, that doesn't sound too bad for tires for an SUV. I know my little Civic costs me about $125/tire

Thanks for the welcome! Here's the low-down on me:

-I will be :earseek: 40 in July
-Married 12 years to husband who doesn't understand my addiction to Mickey -Mouse but tolerates it well
-Lauren is 11 and is a tink freak
-Webmaster (I prefer webmistress) for company's intranet
-Grew up in Tulsa, live in a suburb of Dallas.

anything else?

sneaters... okay I am just slow on replying ;)

Sherry, sounds like you have a nice weekend in store for you! Enjoy today and hope you hear good things from the tests soon.

Paula, sounds like a good reason to get a laptop in my eyes :teeth: I admit, I bought my computer about this time during my senior year of HS. It was nice to get used to my own for college :)

Great intro, Susie! I have a thing for Tink and always wish I could be in a more computer geeky type job myself (stuck in telecom at the moment)

Just a hit-and-run post here. :smooth:

Um, Miss Susie? 40 is NOT an "EEK!" kind of year. I put 40 astern not too many years back, and I think I'm still quite young, thank-you-very-much. :earboy2:

Okay. Please return to the normal Ya-Ya'ing, ketchuping, and nekkid dancing now.

sorry....It's just that on the way to school this morning Lauren and I got into an age discussion and I asked her what she thought old was and she said 30.

Kathy...you don't look a day over 21!! (back in good graces I hope!) :flower3:

Now, on to nekkid dancing! and ketchuping would be?

Yowzers Elaine..that's alot for tires.

Sherry enjoy your lunch at RL!

Welcome Shatzjsl...do you prefer to be called by your screen name or your real name?

Hmmm..me thinks we're going to need the list of screen names and real names again.

I was 40 once, but I've decided to start going backwards now....

Great intro Susie!! Welcome to YaYa land! That first day fresh look vs. the last day... er, not so fresh look. Ah, I know it well!

Kristy, I hope your quiet day is a good one!

More presents for me! Oooh yes! Excuse me while I call DH to tell him I need more stuff. Love STUFF!

Uh oh. Ya know, I think you may be right about Boo and the cabana list. I know she's always had the secret hots for my two.

Keep your paws off my TOJ Elaine! ;)

Nobody likes geeky Viggo. Poor geeky Viggo. Sigh. Okay... back to the drawing board. :teeth:

Now there is a GREAT idea. Using that math, I am rapidly approaching my 30th birthday again. At what point do you start counting forward again???

Ketchup is a yaya vocabulary word. It means doing a read through and reply on all the posts since your last post.

If you stick around long enough, someone might even explain what an EOIP is.

Actually, I like to think of it as the 10th anniversay of my 30th birthday

2bemarried - please call me Susie

Kama - your birthday?? If so, Happy Birthday!! If not, kudos for getting gifts on your nonbirthday!!!

helenabear - can you go to wdw with us in June so you can go with Lauren as she again tries to have her picture taken with everthing that even has a hint of a picture of Tink on it? It was fun at first but by day three it was downright annoying.

Dang y'all... I *am* trying to work here ;)

Kathy, I agree, you don't look a day over 21 yourself.

John, wouldn't you just start forward again when you reach zero? :teeth:

Kimmie, I am bored and obnoxious today... you sure you want to tell me to keep my paws off? What will you do if I, let's say, jiggle it a bit
*Lainey jiggles the ToJ to make loud noises*

Kristy, I prefer better than average tires on my car... I kind of "drive hard" and really use the better tread and performance features that some give. I've learned not all tires are created equal at all!

At what point do you start counting forward again???
Hmmm... good question. I'm thinking maybe 20? 21? The thought of living the teen years all over again gives me the heebie jeebies! :scared1: I think I'll eventually just hover between 25 and 30.

If you stick around long enough, someone might even explain what an EOIP is.
Does anyone really know? I think it's one of the great unsolved YaYa mysteries....
