Hey all, Firewall at home is acting up, so DW is suffering a little withdrawel. She has a 4:00pm Haircut tonight so I get the Baby for a few hours tonight. I think we will work on installing a temp Firewall until the new one gets here. He is soooo cute, and he likes dancing to his happy music.


Oh well, after work today I have to reconfigure the security on our wireless network before heading home.

Well I'm back from my flying visit to my parents this morning. I saw my auntie and uncle as well (they live in the same street as my parents and saw our car!) Right now I'm just relaxing and watching the royal wedding on the TV. Camilla actually looks quite nice in her outfit. It looks quite funny though as they came out of the church, the Queen and Prince Philip were taken away in the car and then the rest of the royal family got onto a bus (except Prince Charles and Camilla who are wondering around meeting the public)!!

Good afternoon everybody - well, it's officially day 3 of BabyKate's illness and she is getting nothing but worse . I'm sorry I keep talking about this, but I need to talk about it because I'm feeling a little stressed out. Kate started throwing up again last night, and along w/ her fever and diaherra every 15-30 min (around the clock - she slept one time last night for 2 hours w/o a bowel movement). When she has her diaherra, it is so bad that I am changing sheets and clothes almost everytime. I hope I'm not grossing anyone out when discussing this.

I called her Pediatrician this morning and she is giving me a perscription to help stop the vomiting, but there is nothing she can do about anything else. She has Kate on a bland diet, but Katie doesn't want to eat it. All she wants to do is drink - she keeps crying "more, more, more" and it breaks my heart that I can't give her as much as she wants .

I am just praying that we can get some sleep tonight, because this lack of sleep is starting to take a toll on me - I feel exhausted!!

Okay....enough of this pity party for myself and thanks for putting up with me talking about this all the time.

Slo, wow! Tons of PD to you! I really hope she gets to feeling better, for both her sake and yours!

This morning I went shopping, and since there were some really good sales going on, I got a pair of jeans and shorts for a total of $25! Then I went to a presentation for this organization that I'm a co-chair of. When I got home, I helped my dad wash my car as well as my mom's. The day is just gorgeous! It's rather windy, but its totally clear and so pretty! My friend and I might be going to a HS baseball game later on, I have to hear back from her. However for all of our good weather it is supposed to be rather bad tomorrow. Woohoo! We might be going to see "Phantom of the Opera" tonight, if I don't go to the game.

Hi All, My computers have been having as bad a week as BabyKatie!?!.

Yesterday we could not get onto the internet from home. I called Tech upport...Got India...Tried to let her help...Got frustrated and was told to call a manufacturer. Came home today and figured out that it looks like someone hacked into my DSL Modem and changed some settings (and the password!!! Not happy. I can now wait until Monday to call them to fix it, or buy a new one tomorrow. As I hhhhhhung up the phone with the technical support person at SBC, I noticed that my e-mail server was not working right...Uou guessed it, Another Hard drive crashed and took all of our e-mails wiyth it... Well, I have mine set to auto-download, so mine are mostly safe...but the rest of the families are gone.....No one is hapy; I will have to spend tomorrow rebuilding everything. And it will be so beautiful too...... Oh well, it could have been worse.....

How is baby Kate today? I hope she is feeling better.

I have just got back from rehearsal at the theatre. We are having auditions next week for another show that I would like to be in as well so I am going to be really busy soon. I will be in Me and My Girl in June and Fiddler on the Roof in October.
I had a chat with one of my friends and fellow teachers at rehearsal. He has just returned from Orlando a few weeks ago and they have booked to go back in August. He has never stayed on site before and really wants to. He has booked into POFQ for 10 days and they have decided to look around Saratoga Springs whilst they are there as they think they are going to buy into DVC. So we were discussing the merrits of WDW holidays during the rehearsal and think we have converted a few people into wanting Disney holidays now!! Although I think I scared a few people with my in depth knowledge!! I spend too much time on there boards. It got me thinking about my christmas trip though. I was panicking about the crowds but I will have a plan and have done my research. But I wonder out of all the people who visit at Christmas, how many of them will have researched their trip and will have touring plans etc. I bet a lot of people do not. Oh well, that makes it better for us guys I guess.

SO what do people have planned for the rest of the day? I need to do my planning for work tomorrow now. I have someone in observing my maths lesson tomorrow and my student teacher is back. She is teaching her first lesson tomorrow and she emailed me her plans yesterday. However they were not too good so I had to ask if she would re do them. I hated having to do that and it took me 30 minutes to construct my reply to her but I guess it is better to have to be told now than in a few weeks time when she has more lessons to teach. Plus it will make it easier for her in the long run.

It's is absolutely wonderful here today must be at least 65degrees. We just went for a walk and DD is watching Cinderella (the version with Brandy) and we'll probably head outside again. Having my 5th cup of coffee while dissing.

Hello everyone - this is day 4 of BabyKaties illness and I am happy to say that she is doing so much better today . We all slept pretty well last night. I had to wake her up at 2am to give her some mediciane - but outside of that we slept pretty good . I believe the worst is over!! She is weak from not eating since Thursday, and she is still not eating today, but hopefully tomorrow she'll want to eat again.

Thank you everyone for welcoming me talk about this and for all your well wishes . BabyKate has had many things wrong with her in her little life, but I really think this sickness was the absolute worst!!.

ohanafamily - I hope you resolve your computer problems soon. It's amazing how computers can be so wonderful at times, and such a nightmare at other times . Tell RRBB hello and I hope TagBabyIan is doing well .

DHSsenior007 - did you go see Phantom of the Opera last night?? I just love that play - I would love to see it again sometime when it comes to Chicago .

Danauk - how fun to be in plays. I was never in a play - but I could see Stephanie being in plays because loves to sing, dance, and be in front of a crowd. I guess I will relive my youth through her . I had to laugh when you said you scared people with your in depth knowledge of WDW - I have had that too. I don't know if people are impressed, or if they think I am some kind of freak. I always give them good advice though and they end of thanking me in the end

Well, I am gonna go and enjoy the rest of the day . I took a walk with Stephanie on her bike and BabyKate in the stroller and as we were walking Stephanie met a couple little girls that are about her age. They hit it off really well and I'm hoping she will have them as friends and playmates for the summer . It always makes me sad when I see her playing by herself .

Before I go, the new M&M's are coming tomorrow and they are still in spring colors. The flavor for the week is almond, so I hope you all enjoy them . Have a great and wonderful day!!

Slo, Yeah we ddi go and see "Phantom of the Opera" at the movies. Wow! It was sooooo good! The phantom was kinda cute with that mask on... I would love to see the stage one! The music was just awesome!!

I can't stop looking at the Disney stuff on Ebay. I just bid on a plate from the contemporary for my girlfriend's birthday. She just called me today to tell me she and her DH, kids and mom are going to the CR in November. Hey can anyone loan me $500 so I can buy an original Cosmic Ray's sign from WDW?

I just popped in to say goodnight to everyone.
The talk of Phantom of the Opera reminded me that I needed to pre order my copy on DVD as it comes out next month. So I did that earlier.

As for me doing acting, I don't really like the acting side of the theatre stuff I do as much as I enjoy the singing and dancing. My graduate degree is in music so I love all that stuff. If I am not on the stage I play in the pit bands for shows in the theatre too. I love doing that as well.

Oh well I should go to bed. I have to be in work early tomorrow. I need to be ready as my student teacher will be in observing my teaching plus I have an inspector in my maths class.

Good Evening all...

OK, I got a commercial Firewall up (actually my old one was a commercial one, but it hit end-of-life, so it had no updates in several months. I replaced it with the old one out of my office that has a somewhat current patch set. I am seeing about getting the latest revision for it, or upgrading to what we put in my office... YUK!!!!!

I had planned to get up at 11:00, go to CompUsa, buy a new hard-drive and a new DSL Modem. Did that, but then some friends from Austin came and we wound up at a Kosher Chili Cookoff and Carnival...OK, we got home at 3, and I tried to set up the DSL Modem. OK, the numbers that they gave me didn't jive. Called SWBell Tech support, got India again, asked for Level2 (the code you ask for to get transferred back to the states) Long story short, I had to get a plain one (that was $90 instead of $30). Went to Fry's (Because they were the only ones I thought would have it) and spent 2 hours of frustration. Tried Best Buy on a lark, and they had several. Got home, called them back (the thing didnnnnnnn't come with the instructions on how to get into the configuration mode). Got it configured, and, you guessed it, it wouldn't recognize the DSL line. OK, I called them back...It was my 5th call on this problem...Everything was OK. Again, on a lark, I put a new phone cord on it (the old cord worked fine on the old unit) and Poof! it started working!!!!! OK, now I had to find a screwy setting on the Firewall...Where is it... Gave up and called my Fiiirewall Techie at home, Begged, Thanked his DW for the bath supplies she gave to RRBB, and he told me the back way to change the setting ... Poof!!! Everything worked!!! He checked over the settings I put in, commented that I had learned a lot from the first one I set up, and made a few tweaks, and set it so it would stop the person messing with me!!!

OK, so the call to Microsoft I wanted to do at Noon will have to wait, so No E-Mail Server up!!!

Danauk, I think we need to bring TagBabyIan to England in Ocrober to learn about his Heritage!!!... I am not sure how he would handle the flight though...BTW, if you need any help selling your friends on the merits of DVC, I am just a PM away.....

Oh, and s&ksmom, do we need to do an INTERVENTION? O mean, if you start trying to get Minnie's Bloomers..... I like Cosmic Ray's, great place to sit and relax for a while. They also have some great alternative food choices...Oh, and your friends, do you need me to send you the refillable mug...

for those of you who don't know, one of the things that you will get totally scorched over on the Resorts board is sharing a refillable Mug, or even bringing it back on another trip. Everyone does it, some of the CM's have told me it's OK; even to the point where we were at VWL, and I kept looking for the larger mugs that everyone had and was told that they ran out of them 6 months before!?!...I digress... So we have a Virtual Refillable mug somewhere that we pass around before every trip. It is not an Artifact Because the TAG FAIRY would never stoop so low... or let the people on the resort boards know...It is especially useful at weddings (I mean we only need one refillable mug for 50 people...) There are a few other things we occaionally laugh about, but oh well...

Ohanafamily---NC Beast and I hope that your computer gremlins are gone for good. Our computer has been acting up and NC Beast has been busy tinkering to make things better (my MIL got upset when our e-mail accounts rejected her when we were reconfiguring). Oh---Ian may do just fine on overseas plane trip. Our dn Cailin went to Ireland for several weeks when she was about 15/16 months old---did well according to her mom.

Hi everyone,

So how is everyone today? Work was OK today, the deputy was in charge for most of the morning which was good. We had a laugh at one of our ex teachers expence today though. He must have been drunk on Friday night and he phoned one of our current teachers up on her mobile. As it was late and she was in bed she switched it to voice mail. Well the ex teacher decided to sing to her and leave a message!! It was so funny, we all heard it today!! He will be so embarased!!

ohanafamily my friend is going to look further into DVC when he next goes to WDW in August (he is excited as he is staying on site for the first time!!)

slo how is babyKate today? I hope she is feeling better.

Cheeringmom the Queen did not attend the actual legal wedding as it was a civil ceremony in the local registary office. She did however attend the religious blessing afterwards. They couldn't marry in the church as they are both divorcees, I'm not sure why though if they were allowed a religious blessing. I don't really understand it??
