Well, I do have do work today too. And finish my homework for my graphics class so I can turn it in today.

But my main focus today is finding a new handyman/contractor to fix our windows. Our old one quit yesterday because his saw won't work.

Thanks y'all! I have feelers out and hope to hear something soon. I'm so ready to have my dining room back! Our former handyman had prepped the inside of the windows, but hadn't started on the outside yet.

In the meantime, I'm consoling myself by listening to the DIS Unplugged podcast so I can dream I'm at Disney. And I'm working on my graphics homework.

Yes, that's what he told my husband yesterday. He was here to replace the rotting window sills in the dining room and the kitchen. He calls for my husband. Turns out, he wanted to see if my husband could fix his saw, as it wasn't working. DH isn't a mechanic or electrician, he's a chemical engineer.

Makes no sense, in all business when something breaks you fix it, then continue. You don't make money by quitting. It may be the best you find someone else. I am so sorry.

I just had some greek yogurt, I put some extra vanilla and melted a tsp of peanut butter in it. Oh so yummy!

I couldn't say to our customers I quit because our carpet machine is broken. It does break, we get it fixed. Sometimes the job may get delayed due to how long it takes to get it fixed.

I agree! And I do see the humor in the situation. I wish I had a photo of my expression when DH came upstairs and told me to find a new contractor because ours had quit because his saw was broken.

It will all work out in the end!

So confession, here I am in lovely Massachusetts, a Boston girl born and bred.... And I've never tried clam chowder. I got a gift certificate today from my boss to a place that has it as its speciality. Should I try it? I like clam strips...
