That one sounds awesome! I'm always trying to figure out a healthy filling breakfast because I HATE HATE HATE eggs, and that's all that I see recommended!

I do oatmeal with a tbsp of chia seeds and a side of greek yogurt. I find it filling and a good balance of protein and carbs.

I agree. Pricey cupcakes usually aren't worth it, imo. These were great though.

Bella, I feel your pain with eggs for breakfast. I can only eat them once, maybe twice a week for breakfast. I'm not a smoothie gal, but I'll eat PB and bananas for breakfast. Yummy!

Hah I do packets and they aren't ALL terrible for you. My pure and simple pomegranate is organic and everything in the ingredient list is things like whole grained rolled oats, flaxseed, quinoa, etc.


Also... it's funny you say how good the cupcakes are and in the same post say oatmeal packets are bad. Priorities, right??? :rotfl:

Very true.

I have one brand that's ok... Everything else I see, including ones I love, are full of preservatives, sugar,and words I can't pronounce.:) Cupcakes are like a once every other month treat for me. Oatmeal is daily.:P
 

Better Raw, or something is a good packet brand too.

Not really soak it, it absorbs the milk as I eat it. It is not the instant, regular oatmeal that takes 5 minutes to cook.
