It's cookie exchange day here and I am sugar sick.

I ate a ton then went to Zumba. My tummy wasn't happy but I had lots of energy to dance

Now I just had a second batch tho. Yikes!

Can I whine a bit? D was offered the job she wanted (as you all might remember) but then they never got around to telling her what they'd pay. So they finally did, and it turns out that they're offering her HALF of what they've paid in the past (the near past too - the last guy)! This poor kid - nothing comes easy. Even when she gets what she wants, she doesn't get what she deserves. She's going in armed with all sorts of data about what they've paid and what standard is, and we'll see what happens. Waiting is so hard!

What a bunch of jerks!!! Make sure she stands up for herself. Accepting low pay now will only lead to lower pays in the future (employers usually ask for salary history).

Good Morning All (almost good afternoon here)!

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm doing OK here.
I got my appointment scheduled with the surgeon for the second opinion on my back. That will be next Thursday (I'm surprised they got me in so quickly). So we will see what they have to say. Most likely it will be back to PT again.

I need to stop researching it though. I was making myself sick to my stomach reading the definitions of the words they use in the MRI report I have lots of questions for the new doctor now.

Questions are good. Good luck with the second opinion. you'll be fine.

Hi Boo Boo's!

My husband has been sick the last 2 days and I woke up in the middle of the night with stomach pains and thinking I was getting it too. Working from home but feeling better now - so yippee for that!

I thought I was done w/holiday baking but my boss asked me to bring a dessert to Xmas eve (I asked what I could bring). So I am going to make the gingerbread cookies I make that her son gobbles up - lol.

hah well already paid for the stamps so may as well use them!

OK so I bought a pack of 10 pricey ones and 6 cheaper ones. Used up the 10, used up the 6, realized they didn't send me enough envelopes for the 6 (grrrrrrrrr - 3 short!), used up 4 handmade cards, and still need like 3-4 more! Time to dig through stuff to see if I have leftovers from past years!

Woo - only took 3 hours to write out and label all my Christmas cards. It's a rag-tag bunch of nicer cards, cheaper cards, cheaper cards with makeshift envelopes (darn them for not having the right number!), handmade cards, and notecards (not xmas themed but still fun - lol). Finally found a good use for those long meetings!

Nope I always work the 2 weeks of xmas/new year's (besides the days of, of course). I was just off all last week... and the shorter work weeks and empty office are a nice respite.

I want to cry right now. We lost our nice AoA reservations for february due to a super long story. Had to rebook at AsMu. Saved ourselves a lot of money, but my friends are so ticked at me now, because I made things super complicated. Just..... Not a good week. At all..... Is it Christmas yet?
