Ahhhhhhhhhhh I am pooped. Got the place cleaned up before the beast comes home to wreck it. Laundry drying then I will put it away and soon (1.5 hours) we will leave to run some errands and pick him up. And thennnnnnnnnn after we get back we need to get ready for a concert. Oof!!


So what did I miss while I was gone?


Oh and I finally have some good news to share! When I logged in to my bank today I saw that our profitsharing had been deposited this morning. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

Hi, thank you!!! Trip was fun but not as fun as in the past. It was ok tho... still better than work. I was ready to come home on Friday tho (we got back Saturday). Missed my pup and had a ton to do!!



On that note... I just finished cutting up and packaging my cookies for our cookie exchange tomorrow!! YAY! I prepared them yesterday morning and went for a "bar" cookie so still had all the cutting to do (and I put them in festive cupcake wrappers for ease of transport and for looks.

Good Morning All (almost good afternoon here)!

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm doing OK here.
I got my appointment scheduled with the surgeon for the second opinion on my back. That will be next Thursday (I'm surprised they got me in so quickly). So we will see what they have to say. Most likely it will be back to PT again.

I need to stop researching it though. I was making myself sick to my stomach reading the definitions of the words they use in the MRI report I have lots of questions for the new doctor now.

I wasn't in on the boo boo extravaganza; maybe that's why I still don't have a tag.

Can I whine a bit? D was offered the job she wanted (as you all might remember) but then they never got around to telling her what they'd pay. So they finally did, and it turns out that they're offering her HALF of what they've paid in the past (the near past too - the last guy)! This poor kid - nothing comes easy. Even when she gets what she wants, she doesn't get what she deserves. She's going in armed with all sorts of data about what they've paid and what standard is, and we'll see what happens. Waiting is so hard!

Most companies do that now days, once someone was gone they figured they could pay less than the last person. It is so hard in this ecomony. I hope by her saying something doesn't hurt her in the process.
