Morning.... So glad it is a short week here this week...

WOO HOO!!! Yea for the short week

My kids are off Wed, Thurs and Friday. DH and I are off Thurs and Fri. The kiddos will hang with my Mom on Wed and start making pies, etc. I was thinking about taking Wed. off too but I'm worried about all my schedule changes for my PT and doctors appointments (plus I'll need time off for the MRI), so I will just work that day.

Good morning! Hope everyone is doing well! Still need to try and catch up. Yea, right! Okay who ran out and bought a box of twinkies? I am so sad, I will miss our plant.

I'm among the lucky that have Friday off! And my DD (who works in a 24-7 industry) was able to get Thursday and Friday off, so she's joining the whole clan for Thanksgiving! Yay!

Baking pies on Tuesday to take up to family; we leave on Wednesday afternoon. I can work at home on Wednesday so we can leave earlier than normal!

All is good.

We didn't really plan it, it just happened. We were walking around Target and saw two boxes back in the Christmas area. Later, I was telling DH about the company going under (he didn't even know) and then a couple minutes after that we heard a group of girls talking about it too. So we went back and got the Twinkies (an employee had found those two plus one more and put them in his go-back cart but we asked if we could have them and he said sure). We saw the ladies again a few minutes later and gave them a box.

Just for fun, DH checked eBay and saw what people were trying to sell them for..yikes

DD asked if she could have one yesterday and I told her no way...we might need to sell those boxes on eBay

When they liquidate their assets someone will buy the brand name, it is worth too much, and with all the free pub they are getting, they will be on the shelf in no time.

I saw some of those bids. Did you see the someone put one up for 10,000 thousand dollars. I think their twinkies will go bad.

Yep, the same thing happened with Mother's cookies. It didn't take long for someone to take those over and they are back now like they never left.

LOL - DH just called me from the Hostess Outlet store. He said there were a lot of people there stocking up so he grabbed a couple of boxes of Ding Dongs. Too funny since I try not to have too many of those types of products in the first place (so that I don't eat them) but now we will have a house full. DS does love the little donuts though so I'm sure he will miss those.

The sad thing was the person working there asked DH if his place of employment was hiring (DH had his work shirt on) because the store was closing at noon for good That is the really sad part about it. So many people out of jobs.

Thanks guys! Sorry to unload just bummed. She will have tests to see if they can do surgery.

I haven't heard results from my dad's tests that were supposed to be today... Last i heard my brother was at the hosp with him
