Welcome Packs from Disney

Hi all, I recently made two reservations...one at the Swan and one through Disney at the Caribbean Beach. After confirming both reservations, I received a welcome packet from the Disney Reservation people which I loved. After a vote with my family, we've decided to stay at the Swan thus cancelling the Disney reservations and any other correspondences that they may send. In your experience, does the Swan send out similar information?

Not in my experience, but they may call you a few days before your trip and try to talk you into doing the timeshare tour.

You will get a confirmation letter from the Swan. If by Welcome Pack, you mean the brochures and maps that Disney sends, then no the Swan won't send that. I get all the info I need on WDW and the Swan here and at www.swandolphin.com. I've stayed at the Swan/Dolphin twice and never gotten a call to do a timeshare tour. If you have any questions about your stay, call the Swan directly on their 800 number. The CMs there are extremely helpful.
