Me too!! But I have a special place in my heart for Brits, my mother was born and raised in Scotland

Ha! As usual I'm waaaaayyyy late to the party LOL TYVM

I may be a bit late but yes! Welcome Oliver! Watching the Universal show today and it's like you're not even the new guy anymore, brilliant job and you fit in so well. Pete does it again!

Just finished watching last week's Universal show - what a crack up - it was awesome!! Oliver fits in so well, and he brought a smile to my face, remembering the BritComs I used to watch on Fri. nights when I used to live with an English lady by mentioning the Vicar of Dibley. We also used to watch Keeping Up Appearances, Waiting for God, some times Fawlty Towers, and some others I can't remember. So much fun - thanx for the memories and smiles, Ollie! :)

Welcome, Oliver! :welcome:Looks like you are fitting in just fine.
ps those looking for BritComs, also check out vintage comedies like Are You Being Served? and Some Mothers Do 'Ave Em. Staples on the tube when I was growing up. But for contemporary BritTV, definitely watch Grantchester. Its a detective drama with clergy twist and think its presently showing on PBS. Very good.

Aaaah yes - Are You Being Served was another fave. :) When I used to watch them, they were all on the local PBS station in N.E. NJ, which called Fri. nights "BritCom" nights. I even bought a Hyacinth Bucket (Bouquet, for those who watched the show! LOL) "etiquette book" from them. :)My landlady @ the time was from Rushden in Northhamptonshire, and we'd sit around, nosh, and laugh together. Great memories. :)

I always marveled that Michael Crawford, the young actor from Some Mothers Do 'Ave Em, matured into the great voice from Phantom of the Opera fame. Who would have guessed? #justmoretalentedBrits.
