Welcome Home ??

We're just back from a short stay at the Beach Club Villas. Whilst of course it was wonderful just being back there we were disappointed with the cast members at check in.

Now i'm sure there will be many who think i'm being picky but we get such pleasure out of the "Welcome Home" on arrival - this time there was nothing, this coupled with putting us in a room which was marked as non-smoking but clearly had been used by smokers; they found us another studio but no apology just a few sighs, didn't make for a good start.

We're regular visitors here so we know how helpful they can be but this time they were really indifferent.

But as i said, it was so good to be home again!

Sorry to hear your trip did not start off on the right foot; but am glad to hear they corrected the room situation for you.


We are not big "Welcome Home" people but it seems we heard it constantly this past week on our trip - it does stink you didn't get your "Welcome Home".

Sorry to hear about your incident, I have had to many welcome homes at times. Had a nosmoking room problem at VB one time, they bombed the room and that helped.

Come to think of it, We didn't get a Welcome Home at BWV during our last stay. But the Mousekeepers in the hall wished us a welcome home.

One of my big fears is to step into a room that was used for smoking. My family are non smokers and both the DW and DMIL work and have worked in Radiation/Oncology......They both stay as far away as they can from smoke and the smell....especially with our kids.

We were at BCV recently. We got our "Welcome Home" but were at first given the wrong paperwork for a family that had purchased a Magic Your Way package. Our villa was amazing, so no complaints there.

We got a great big smile out of a CM at a store at MK who saw that we were members, and we got a huge welcome and genuine smiles from the WL staff.

In all of my trips to BWV as an owner I have never ever gotten a welcome home !

Of course I just bought this year and only had 1 trip so far but still true , no welcome home yet , I didn't miss it really since I had never heard it before.

I like it when I get a Welcome Home, but not upset if I don't. But here goes,

We just stayed at SSR for the first time after Thanksgiving and we were Welcome'd Home every time we saw anyone! Maybe because it's a newer resort they're more concious of it.

We didn't get a Welcome Home from CM's at the Desk at BCV either! It was our first trip so we were sort of waiting for it! Other than that, the CM's were very effecient & cordial. Trip was great! We were also greeted by Art the next morning in the lobby! So that made up for it!
