We will be taking our first Disney World vacation in November. I would love to surprise my kids with a little "welcome gift" that I can purchase/bring with me and put in our room. Daughter is 6y/o and loves Elsa (most), but really all princesses. My 4y/o son loves Jake, Buzz, and Monsters Inc. Would love to hear ideas for fun littles gifts to leave them.

PJs, flip-flops, sunglasses, jewelry, stick-on earrings, notebooks, autograph books, pens, pins (if you are pin trading), stickers, temporary tattoos, books, coloring books, stuffed animals, mugs or cups or water bottles, band-aids, Christmas ornament.

When my kids were younger I would sneak into the room first and leave a stuffed animal on each bed. The disney store prices are so much better than the parks. At 6 and 4, I would leave a little candy or a $10 disney card for them also.

Someone posted a fun idea to go to the dollar store or Target and get some inexpensive goodies. Then bring their favorite doll or stuffed toy (Elsa, Mickey, etc.) on the bed. Try to sneak back at some point (say you forgot something in the room) and have Elsa, Mickey, etc. on the bed holding the "gifts" for your DD and DS. It will look like they went shopping each day and got little surprises for the kids.

Also, maybe on the first day an autograph book with pens for each of them? Everyone seems to recommend doing that for the kiddies. I am going to make photo sheets for my DD with pictures of each character to make it a little more fun for her than the books with blank pages.

Another idea are shirts with their names or initials on them. There are tons on Etsy to pick from.

Get some mickey and minnie mouse ears off Ebay.. They also have some nice tiaras for your princess that very inexpensive. Glo sticks/ bracelets/ etc are also good things to bring

My son just celebrated his birthday at WDW and I planned on decorating his room to the nines! I found a BUNCH of stuff at the dollar tree, funny enough, and it's all disney trademarked stuff. Including disney PEZ and little disney toys. They also have a celebration isle where you can buy signs and banners for all different occasions! I taped signs to the door, set up a bucket filled with his surprises inside, and left it on the table. I did all of this when he went to the pool with my husband and I said I was going to unpack. After I had everything set up and decorated I went down to the pool and met them. I told my son (4 years old) that mickey had stopped by looking for him and left a present for him! Well you can imagine his excitement when we got to our room and he saw the door decorated, and then went inside and saw that he had a bucket of presents! His was so pumped!

I got them each new PJs one trip, and went back to the room as we were headed out for the day to put them out for when we got back.

We bring glow necklaces to wear at night in the parks.

I packed my daughters plane bag with stickers, markers, coloring books (all princess themed) then when we arrived gave her the autograph book and pen so we could use right away without having to go shopping. I also brought along anew princess dress, tiara and glow sticks for when we got there. Those things are cheaper to buy online and bring with.
