I'm seriously so ridiculously excited to stay here for one night. I'm sad I won't be able to check out Pop and eat that amazing cheesecake...but Coronado Springs...I mean, it's just so beautiful!

Forgot to mention, maybe we can smuggle a piece of cheesecake from our stay at Pop and meet up with you somewhere during our overlapping days!

LOL, I read all your posts about wanting to start a PTR, and let me tell you, I thought having a PTR going for 6 months was hard...having one for a year would drive me crazy! However, if you start one, I'll definitely join! It's just so hard for me to think of things to talk about sometimes, I don't know how people can keep them going for a year!

So Disney is evil. Seriously. I was just thinking how I haven't changed anything with our trip in so long, it must be a record for me this year! I really thought everything was set for this trip...and then I get this interesting email...Offering us an upgrade for our one night reservation at Pop to a mod (a specific mod that I've been wanting to check out for some time...) for $19.

Only $19 more? That's it? To stay in a resort I've been dreaming about for a while?

As soon as Brandon came home from work, I showed him the email, to which of course he said "what's that" and "where?" when I said where we could stay instead. Then I said "it's only $19 extra" so he said it was fine. Even though I'm still not entirely sure he knows what is going on and what he agreed to. Sometimes it's better that way.

Try to request Cabanas 8A....close to the Dig Site pool and a hammock.

Or 7B - I never stayed in the Cabanas but I loved the Ranchos. It's about a 5 minute walk to El Centro but there is a quiet pool LITERALLY right downstairs and the Dig Site is like a 1 minute walk. There's also a bus stop right behind the building. I wish I was there right now!!!!

I requested the Casitas or Cabanas section. I didn't want to get too specific with the room requests, since it's only a night, but I really don't want to stay in the Ranchos section. My main concern is that our room is ready when we get there so we can rest a little before we go to the parks! I'm SO excited to be staying here for a night! Oh, and when I told the CM on the phone to put a request for the Casitas or Cabanas section, he made me spell Casitas...and then he said "and these are buildings right?" Weird!

Just $19 to upgrade?! Yeah, I wouldn't be able to pass that up, either!

I actually almost did pass it up, because I was so excited to stay at Pop, but...for only $19 extra, I had to see CSR!

That's awesome that you got that upgrade offer! I saw the threads over on the resort boards about those offers. Even though I have Pop booked in October, no offer yet for me. That's okay, though. I guess I'd have to give up free dining to take the offer and I'm not doing that during Food & Wine. (Oh, yeah, I guess I haven't posted on my own TR yet, but we booked our flights tonight, so we're going!!! )

Oh, that's too bad you didn't get the upgrade email, but I'm pretty sure you would have to give up free dining so I guess it works out! Yay for booking your flights!

Cool about the upgrade! I've never stayed at a moderate resort before but I do think all of the pictures from CS look great.

I've only stayed at POR, so I'm excited to try a new mod! I've wanted to stay there for a while, but I've always been concerned that it might be a little too far from the parks, but now I'll get to see for myself!

I'm staying there in Sept/Oct. I really would have liked POFQ since we just stayed at CSR in June but the other is booked and CSR is the next best!!! CONGRATS!

What a great deal!! An upgrade like that for only $19? Woo Hoo!!!

I know, I was so excited when I got the email!

I asked on the resorts board if it was a good deal, and most people were like "yes, do it!", but a few were like "well, it's not a true upgrade if you have to pay". It's an upgrade to me, ok? Normally mods are a lot more $$ than values, so for $19, it seems almost like it's a free upgrade!

I know, I really can't wait to see it in person, I've been looking at all the pictures for so long, and now I'll really be able to appreciate it!

You will love CSR!!! It's gorgeous! I hope it's as quiet for you as it was for us when we were there. What a deal to upgrade. I can't get over that.

I have a feeling I will really love it, maybe it will become our new favorite resort! Well, I'm not sure if any resort will replace WL, but maybe our favorite mod! It seems really quiet and peaceful, that will be nice for our arrival day!

I love checking out new resorts! Pop would have been a new one for us too, but I just could not pass up the chance to try out CSR!

That's awesome! CSR was always on my "must stay" list. I'm glad I tried it and would be very happy there for a week. The pools are amazing and the grounds are lovely. Enjoy!

It's been on my must stay list for a while too, and now I'll get to see if I really like it or not! I have a feeling I'm going to love it!

Awesome that you got an upgrade to CSR! Those extra $19 were definitely worth it for you, that's an offer I don't think any DISer could ignore. CSR is GORGEOUS!

I was actually kind of wondering when I was going to fit in eating that cheesecake anyway, the only time I could think of was when we got back from the parks the first night, and that would be a little too late! Between our ADR's and Food and Wine, I think I'm going to go crazy with all the dessert options!

Days 8 and 9!

Hi everyone! I'm ready to get my day by day plans wrapped up, so I'm going to do 2 days in one post! Then next week I'll do our departure day and after that I'll have a few weeks to just do random countdowns and lists and "OMG I'm going to Disney soon" updates!

Oh yes, and I gained another half a pound this week. I don't know what's going on, I thought I did ok this week. I have to work really hard the next 6 weeks. There's no way I'm going to lose 19 pounds in 6 weeks, but I'm hoping I can at least lose 10-12. Not where I want to be for our trip, but I'll take what I can get.

Day 8 Plans!

After being at Epcot the night before, I left this morning open so we could sleep in a little. Once we get up we will probably go over to Downtown Disney for a little while to get something to eat and do some shopping

Once we are finished with DTD, we'll go back to WL for a little while before heading over to the Poly

I'm hoping to get there so we have some time to walk around and explore a little, get a drink, hang out on the beach in a hammock...we did this last year and it became one of our favorite things we did on that trip!

I can't wait to go here again! Mostly for this:

It seriously might be the best dessert I've ever had.

As of now, the plan for after 'Ohana is to go to a 2nd MNSSHP!

However, I'm still not 100% sure if we're going to do 2 parties, so if we don't, we'll probably go to DHS for the night. I'm guessing we'll do the party though!

Day 9 Plans!

I'm hoping we can get up early on this day and go over to DHS for rope drop

so we can participate in the Toy Story Mania stampede for FP's. I'm seriously not looking forward to it. I don't feel like seeing how selfish and pushy people can get at Disney just to get FP's. I hate that this is what has to happen for FP's for this ride. Yes, it's an awesome attraction, one of the best in Disney, but seriously, there has to be a better way. If it's too crazy, I'm just going to wait in the standby line.

Ok, so you guys know about my love of Tower of Terror, so I'm sure you know I'll be going on that countless times. And RnRC. I thought instead of going through which attractions I hope to do on this day, I'd focus on something else almost as fun...food!

We don't have any breakfast plans for this day, so I was hoping to either stop here

for a carrot cake cookie, which just sounds amazing, or at Starring Rolls for some kind of cupcake

That looks like the best cupcake ever!

For lunch, I either want to try Pizza Planet

or get one of my Disney favorites, a turkey leg

If I make it to Friday without getting a turkey leg, I will be amazed!

After we do everything we have to do in DHS, we will sadly say goodbye and go back to WL for a little while. I don't want to spend too much time resting, since it's our last full day at Disney, so after a little while, we will be going to

Epcot of course! Our last night always has to be at Epcot. It's going to be strange with no EMH though. Every time we've gone in the past few years, EMH have been on Fridays at Epcot, and this year they are Wednesday. I don't like it, but !

The only specific plans I have for this night are

FINALLY eating at Via Napoli, which I cannot wait for, and seeing Illuminations one last time. Other than that, I'm guessing we'll just do our favorite attractions again. It will probably be pretty busy because it's a Friday night during F&W, but that's ok, I think we'll probably stay in Future World until our ADR, it depends on the crowds!

And that's the end of our final full day in Disney World. I can't even think about it, since the trip hasn't even gotten here yet and I'm already planning the end of it, it's so depressing! These are the days I will start nagging Brandon about our next trip...I can't leave Disney without knowing when we can come back!

Looks like you have nice plans. I definitely think you should keep to two MNSSHPs. I'm sure once you do it once you'll want to do it again. I've watched tons of videos online and there is so much to do, definitely not something you can do in one night alone

For TSM, definitely just hop in the standby line at Rope Drop then grab a Fastpass after, works a lot better than just taking a FP. I've heard during that first FP dash, the line is much shorter.

Everything else seems nicely planned out. I'm not a huge fan of Pizza Planet, but everyone on here seems to like it, so we'll see what you think. 'Ohana and Via Napoli seem to be good choices, always wanted to try them out. That dessert from 'Ohana looks almost too good to be true

This might seem counter intuitive, but if you've been restricting your calories a lot, you may need to increase your calorie intake a little. Especially if you are exercising regularly, your body might need that little extra to keep give it the extra fuel to start the fire burning, so to speak.

Congratulations on upgrading to CSR! We stayed there last time, before it was refurbed. It was okay, but we didn't spend nearly as much time at the resort as we thought we would.

No worries about the weight gain. You can still lose the weight. I believe in you!

I would suggest analyzing what you ate in the weeks you gained that differed from the weeks you lost. The answer will likely be there. Sometimes it's totally random things too.

As for the mad dash at TSM. I don't do the mad dash either. I just calmly walk over, and it normally works out for me. And getting in line rather then Fastpassing it is always a good option to go with too.
It's getting so close!

First:: CSR is a gorgeous resort and I love it!! The beds are super comfy, the grounds and rooms are wonderful and gorgeous and it feels so relaxing! I think you will definitely like it

Secondly:: I am with you on disliking planning final days before the trip has even started. not something I want to think about! LOL

I'm with you on the stampede for TSM FPs. You'd think by now the hysteria over the ride would've died down! I mean, I love the ride, but it irks me that if you don't get there 1st thing to ride and/or get a FP, then you can forget about riding it at all. Oh, well.

Sounds like awesome plans, lots of park hopping again I think if we had the extra time and cash we would probably do two parties. I am so paranoid we are not going to get to everything we want to in just one

I have been great about working out, but not eating right at all, so no weight loss for me, we have like 8 weeks til my trip so my goal is 10lbs...who knows!!

I can't wait to see what you think of Via Napoli...I have never had a meal in Italy at EPCOT before and that place looks good
