Weird Wednesday Riddle

Good Morning Riddle People!!!
Thanks again for filling in yesterday Elaine.


Imagine Larry, a party magician, is carrying three pieces of gold each piece weighing one kilogram. While taking a walk he comes to a bridge which has a sign posted saying the bridge could hold only a maximum of 80 kilograms. Larry weighs 78 kilograms and the gold weighs three kilograms. Larry reads the sign and still safely crossed the bridge with all the gold. How did he manage this?

And now I'm going to interrupt today's riddle for a brief family brag! My 28 year-old cousin has taken karate since she was a kid. She stayed with it through high school, an enlistment in the Air Force and even now in Real Life. She earned her black belt in her early 20's.

Here's an argument for anyone with kids who want to quit an activity.....stick with it and i can pay off. This week she's in Paris as a member of the United States delegation that's participating in the World Association of Karate/Kickboxing Organization's biennial World Championships. There are 19 members of her team and 65 countries represented at the competition!

Well, the bang bang bang on the house house house continues. Yesterday was an especially loud day. A few complications have been thrown into the mix (and that ALWAYS happens with older homes) but so far we are coping.

I have to think about this riddle. A number of very silly, very magical answers come to mind when I read it!
