Haven't been to WDW yet, first trip in September.. but I had a very weird dream about it a few weeks ago.
My DH and I don't have any children yet, so the dream started out weird when we were there with a toddler that kept calling us mommy and daddy...
Anyway... we were wanting to ride Splash Mountain, but the baby was too scared of the drop. DH and I were bummed out that we weren't going to be able to ride, and then a cast member walked up and told us that they had just recently added a short-term daycare facility underneath the ride for parents with kids who were scared of the drop. He escorted us to the facility and there were tons of kids down there, so we signed up ours. The cast member then said that he knew a way to get us close to the front of the line so we wouldn't have to be without her for very long.
Anyway, we waited for a few minutes and talked about how nice that was. When we were supposed to get on the flume another cast member got on a loud speaker and said, "I'm sorry everyone, but the Magic Kingdom is being closed early today. Please make your way to the entrance in a single file line, no pushing no shoving."
Well, DH and I went down to the facility to pick up our daughter and it was empty except for the cast member who told us about it who was sitting in the corner crying. He told us that our daughter had slipped away from him and was somewhere in the utilidors. He showed us the entrance that he thought she had taken. He said he had to go help the other cast members with the evacuation of the Magic Kingdom, but told us not to worry, that we would be fine.
The rest of the dream was my DH and I walking through these sterile white hallways and looking in all these doors calling out for our daughter. Never found her.
So that is my weird dream about Disney World. We don't have kids, and if we did, we wouldn't have handed them off to some stranger to ride a silly theme park ride. I have no idea what the 'meaning' of this dream was supposed to be.
