Weird WDW Dream thread.

While at WDW, the first night of our trip (we still had 5 more nights) I had a dream that our trip was over and when we woke up it would be time to go home. I woke up sad, and then realized I had been dreaming. WDW trips do go by too fast though :sad1:

How funny that this thread just got started. I had a crazy Disney dream the other night. Our trip is in a little over 2 weeks, and I always find that the time leading up to the trip goes so SLOW and then the time at WDW goes so quickly!!!

Well, in my dream, the trip was already OVER. Apparently I had been there, done that and DIDN'T REMEMBER IT AT ALL! It completely freaked me out and made me sad at the same time! I had to check the date on my iPhone to make sure that it really was JUST a dream.

I was so bummed when I woke up - I missed all of the great dining, missed my favorite attractions and shows AND missed The Main Street Electrical Parade. :confused3

Boy oh boy, was I glad that it was only a dream!

I dreamed we were waiting in the standbyline at TSM. Even though I had FPs, Mom wanted to wait in line because she didn't want to see the Osborne Lights and this way we'd miss it. Then she preceded to tell me she wasn't having a good time and was going to pout for the remainder of our trip. This is so NOT my mom. :confused3

I had this dream last week while AT Disney.
I was dreaming about the actual trip we were on. In the dream we packed up all our things after the second day of vacation because I decided that we needed to go home to feed and check on the cats. (My neighbor was watching them and I spoke to her that afternoon, I think this was why I had the dream!)
We flew all the way home and then I began to cry because we had 8 days left of our WDW vacation but we were now sitting back in NJ. I forced my DH to BUY more plan tix to get back and pay for another room at POR!!!

I was VERY happy when i woke up and realized that I was in my hotel room at POR!! LOL

I can't remember all of the details as the dream happend last year before our April trip, but long story short, my family had taken off for our trip, but for some reason I got separated from DH and the kids... It took forever for me to meet up with them (our tickets had to be used by a certain date and I just couldn't seem to get to WDW). Once I finally found them, they didn't want to go anymore! Just as we could see Cindy's castle in the distance. I woke up in a panic!!! It was DH's and the kids first trip - we had done all that planning, then in my dream they changed their minds!!!!

I know I'll have a few more before our trip this fall, just hope they are crazy-in-the-parks dreams!!!

Wow, I haven't had a weird WDW dream in Disney yet...I think because I'm so wiped out after a day in the parks, I don't remember any dreams I may have had..:rotfl:

Haven't been to WDW yet, first trip in September.. but I had a very weird dream about it a few weeks ago.

My DH and I don't have any children yet, so the dream started out weird when we were there with a toddler that kept calling us mommy and daddy...

Anyway... we were wanting to ride Splash Mountain, but the baby was too scared of the drop. DH and I were bummed out that we weren't going to be able to ride, and then a cast member walked up and told us that they had just recently added a short-term daycare facility underneath the ride for parents with kids who were scared of the drop. He escorted us to the facility and there were tons of kids down there, so we signed up ours. The cast member then said that he knew a way to get us close to the front of the line so we wouldn't have to be without her for very long.

Anyway, we waited for a few minutes and talked about how nice that was. When we were supposed to get on the flume another cast member got on a loud speaker and said, "I'm sorry everyone, but the Magic Kingdom is being closed early today. Please make your way to the entrance in a single file line, no pushing no shoving."

Well, DH and I went down to the facility to pick up our daughter and it was empty except for the cast member who told us about it who was sitting in the corner crying. He told us that our daughter had slipped away from him and was somewhere in the utilidors. He showed us the entrance that he thought she had taken. He said he had to go help the other cast members with the evacuation of the Magic Kingdom, but told us not to worry, that we would be fine.

The rest of the dream was my DH and I walking through these sterile white hallways and looking in all these doors calling out for our daughter. Never found her.

So that is my weird dream about Disney World. We don't have kids, and if we did, we wouldn't have handed them off to some stranger to ride a silly theme park ride. I have no idea what the 'meaning' of this dream was supposed to be.

i had a dream a short while ago where me and SO were at MK, but it was gray and cold, and there were dead leaves blowing around. The park was empty, no other guests, few cast members but all the attractions were running..

Oddly enough, although it was MK, it was different. Instead of Space Ranger Spin, Star Tours was there. and the World Showcase kind of wrapped around Adventureland. The Castle was there, but the tree of life was planted in front of it. It was like all four parks were plunked down in one space.

It was creepy..

I've had my share...

When I was in college (no I wasn't drinking or smoking anything before this dream...), I had the weirdest dream. I was in England (Epcot) and went into a pub. I remember it being England because of the red phone booth. However, I've never been in a pub in England... Anyway - I remember seeing 3 phones - a green phone to call within the pub, a white phone for local calls, and an red phone for emergencies (who says we don't dream in color???) Next to the phones was an oven. I opened the oven and I see friends of mine in the oven curling up as Shrinky Dinks. They were waving at me as they were shrinking. I asked what they were doing and they said they were trying to raise money and were selling themselves as Shrinky Dinks. Totally wierd - no idea where that came from.

I've had more normal "nightmares" and usually do as I'm planning a trip. The other night, I had a dream that we were at the HDDR and I realized that we totally forgot to show up for our Sleigh Ride. I tried to get on another one after dinner, but they were full. I cried. :sad1: We're doing that on the first night we're there (sleigh ride then HDDR). I remember dreaming "I hope the rest of the week isn't like this..." I stress myself out too much. :headache:

I have a lot of dreams about Disney, I'm far too excited about this holiday. Last night I had a dream I was there but my camera broke, what a nightmare that would be. No matter what I did I couldn't get the camera to work but the weirdest thing was there was someone running around dressed like a Weeping Angel (Doctor Who fans will know this one :P).

I've also had the missing the plane ones but the ones that dominate my dreams at the moment are ones of my boyfriend proposing while we're out there :cloud9: I like those ones. That's not gonna happen :rotfl:

Most of my Disney dreams always end up with me not being able to get out of the hotel, and not enough time left in the week for me to do anything, or getting lost on the way to a park, etc.

I had one the other night that I was at the ticket booth picking up our annual passes. The lady had me look through a bunch of designs, and the passes were just cheap paper, like a receipt. Only problem was, she said my DS had to wait up to ten months for his pass to be ready...Weirdness.

I had this dream right after we purchased DVC and before our first trip to our home resort - AKV. I was asleep in my bed and when I woke up there was a giraffe sticking his head in the window and staring down at me. Now I did get to see some giraffes on that trip, but none of them were in my room. I guess I was excited about my first savanna view room!:confused3

I have dreams where I'm at Disney or even just some random place but in my dream I know its somewhere in Florida, and I realize that its the end of my vacation and we haven't done ANYTHING! I start panicking in the dream because it'll be the last day of the trip and I haven't gone to the parks or anything I have planned. I also have dreams where I get there and realize I don't have ADRs but it's not as common. Discovery Cove also shows up but it's totally different in my dream, and it'll be something like an orca in a giant sized swimming pool, and I get to ride it but I'm not excited, or I walk all around but I can't find the dolphins. Very weird stuff...no cow costumes though. :rotfl2:

I have these same dreams where I know we are down at WDW, but its coming up on the last couple days of a LONG vacation and we havent done a single thing but hang out at the hotel...we havent even stepped foot off of hotel property. Everyone else is just please and happy and Im so upset and want to cry

Ok, I think reading this thread actually made me have a Disney dream last night :rotfl2:

When I have dreams before trips they're usually about flying since I HATE to fly, however, we haven't flown for the past 5 trips and I still have the same/similar dream almost every time where I'm on an airplane, but it's driving down the road like a car...the whole way there :rotfl2:

Last night in my dream I was with Marshall from 'How I Met Your Mother' (everyone says he reminds them of my DH, so maybe that's why, and the fact that we watched almost the whole 2nd season on DVD before we went to bed ;) ) Anyway, it was the morning we were leaving and I was all excited and he kept running back into the house for things he forgot, then he wanted to stop to get sloppy joes (???? at 6 am??? :rotfl2:,) then he wanted to go shop for new luggage (Um....we're leaving and already packed :rotfl2:,) then he wanted to go see one of his friends and I was getting SO MAD because I just wanted to get there!! :rotfl2:

About ten years ago I had a trip planned out almost a year in advance. As always, I was geeking way before the trip and started having dreams at least once a week about desperately trying to get to Space Mountain for the entirety of the dream. For some reason every dream I could not get to Space Mountain no matter how hard I tried, getting diverted or Cast Members keeping me away for my own safety. The dream always ended with me getting there and then ending abruptly before boarding. Funny thing is, Space Mountain isn't my favorite attraction or anything, so I started thinking that this was going to be a significant event in my life. Maybe I was going to die on Space Mountain? My heart was racing when I finally got to MK for our real-life vacation. I got on Space Mountain, and...nothing. The ride went on as usual and I survived the experience. Guess I'm not psychic after all! :confused3

These are 2 I had last year that scared the heck out of me for some reason. Both Spectromagic related:

First dream: I was in my house all alone, then suddenly, I hear the Spectromagic fanfare in my backyard, so I go to check it out. I go to the kitchen only to see a demented looking version of Piglet and a bunch of other Disney characters. I go out back to shake their hands and I see the opening float pulling up. All the Spectromen are on it. These were the masked Spectromen, only they were demented looking and had big heads. I really don't know why this one freaked me out.

Second dream: Me and my aunt are walking around in the plaza and a bunch of people are there, too, suddenly the 5 minute spiel for Spectromagic comes on, only it's playing in reverse. Then the Spectromen come up on their float, still looking demented and big headed like in my last dream. Everybody there gets freaked out and runs into a building with only one hall. The Spectromen start coming for us and they start speaking in their own language. This is where I wake up and freak out.

I had another WDW dream last night!! We are going down around the end of September and I had a dream we were at MNSSHP and we ran over to the HM and were getting our picture taken with the ghosts added in or something...and my moms camera (my mom isnt even going on this trip this year :rotfl:) was taking literally 5 minutes to take a picture. This huge line was behind us waiting and heckling us to hurry up. But each time we took a picture it came out blurry. I woke and thought to myself...why were we taking a picture with my moms camera..its not like we could add in the ghost effect ourselves :lmao:

I was soooo upset though!

I had a dream the other night that for some reason we had decided to take a quick trip down with free dining (which apparently is offered year round in my dreams!). The last day comes and I realize that we haven't used one single snack credit. We are at Wal-Mart getting junk food and soda's and I am begging everyone to go to The World of Disney and Goofy's Candy Company, which are right next door so that we can use our snack credits. Everybody kept telling me "no we want to save them for out Sept trip!" "No, we need them in Sept!"

So apparently not only is the free dining offered year round, Wal-Mart is right beside World of Disney and Goofy's Candy Company in Downtown Disney, and you can save your credits for another trip! Guess the trip planning is getting to me!

This is funny because I actually had a dream last night about Animal Kingdom, or about trying to go there anyways. My DD12 needed a permission slip signed for a field trip. I forgot to sign it and she needed it right then. So I'm trying to get it all filled out and it was about an inch thick. I had to make a composit drawing of her and everything on this permission slip. So I get it all filled out and run it to her on the charter bus and I find out they are going to the Animal Kingdom, which was just an hour away. (it's actually 16 hours away and who would take a charter bus for a place an hour away?). I'm saying " I WANT TO GO!!! Wait for me while I go back and get money. So I"m running back to talk my hubby to give me money to go to AK. He finally gives me the money and I run back to the bus and they left without me. What a bummer end to a dream!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
