Maybe this is the wrong spot for this..mods, feel free to move..OK, time for another "weird dream about my upcoming WDW trip" thread. I have to stop having snacks late at night because this one was a doozy..:rotfl2:

I was in Epcot in one of the Innovations buildings watching one of those little shows they have..a coworker was there, dressed in a cow costume..not the furry kind, one in a cotton material. I complimented her on the costume.:confused3:lmao:

Then, I all of a sudden remembered that I forgot about my ADR for Artist's Point..I started crying, which would so not happen in real life..I'd be mildy aggravated at myself, but certainly wouldn't cry over a restaurant. I must have been very disruptive, because a CM comes over and says "Ma'am, you're scaring the children, please leave." Cow Costume Coworker ditches me, because she's embarrassed. (SHE'S embarrassed? I'm not the one in a cow costume!;))

I'm walking back to the hotel, and I'm staying at the Poly, so this makes no sense. Anyway, some young guy tries to mug me. I yell that I'm having a crappy day, so don't mess with me. I push him down and run back to the hotel.

Once in the lobby, I see another coworker, one I work with every day on the same shift.(her Dad works for Disney and she goes frequently..probably why she makes an appearance). But, she's working behind the counter. Ultimately, I end up with her, my sister, myself and 3 cute guys sitting at a table in the lobby. I'm telling the story of how I almost got mugged..sis pipes up and says "that's why Mom always said not to carry too much cash on you" but she says it in the way she would have said it when we were kids..I tell her to shut up.

Then I wake up..I mean, I always have vivid dreams but this one was crazy..when I woke up, I was just lying there chuckling to myself..

Share your weird WDW dreams here!

I dreamed last night that left for our Sept trip to Disney.... we checked into our hotel and then on the news they said a hurricane was coming. We looked at each other like , "well, isn't this just our luck?" So we had to stay in our room for 2 days because the hurricane whalloped Orlando. Seriously, how much does this dream stink? :confused3

SO finally after 2 days we could come out of our room (don't ask what we did for food...that apparently wasn't a concern in my dream! :lmao:) and there was sunshine, but everything looked like, well, like a hurricane came though. it was a bummer.

I think I've been reading WAY too much about hurricanes on the boards. it's starting to freak my subconscious out.

I usually dream that I finally get to the MK and all of the rides are different. Instead of riding through the HM it's now a walking tour with a movie to start things off. One time I had a dream that in order for you to get to the park you had to go through a lazy river and get wet.

OMG!!! How funny!:lmao: I always have weird Disney dreams!! They usually involve not following the gameplan of the day, and missing an adr! And stressing over it, and wondering how I can possibly still try to get there on time and not miss it. Or somehow losing out on one of our precious few days there. I wonder though, what does this say about those of us who have these dreams?

a) We just love the world so much!
b) We are obsessive compulsive planners?
c) Nothing at all.

Shortly before our trip I had this dream: We were at Magic Kingdom for an early ADR. A CM came up to our family and asked us to follow him to a special meet and great. We follow the CM down a really long hall and go around a corner and there stood President Obama and his family. So after taking pictures with them they invite us to have breakfast with them. After breakfast they suprise us by telling us we get to spend the day with them. So we would go on a ride and then special agents would clear the next ride and we would just walk right on. If I remember correctly I think I rode Dumbo with the President's youngest daughter and my daughter got to ride with the President.

Omg I'm so totally glad you posted this. I had a dream awhile back, kinda similar to yours OP... I dreamt I was at Epcot with my family getting ready to go have dinner at Le Cellier. For some reason I end up taking off looking for something and send the fam along without me to the restaurant figuring I would just catch up with them later. Well, I got lost, ok so this could happen in real life too, not just in my dreams lol. So I end up getting to the restaurant late, and my family is already seated, but the CM refuses to seat me because my ADR window has passed. I got very flustered and started to get upset with the CM who finally decided it was ok to seat me because my party was already seated. :confused3:rotfl2: Anyhow, I for some reason wait for the waiter to bring me a menu, which took forever, and when I go to order a mushroom filet, the waiter tells me they are all out.... I woke up after that What a nightmare huh???:rotfl:

I have Disney dreams a lot- usually it's a situation where I go to the Magic Kingdom and it is totally different looking than it normally is, but I know it's the MK anyway. There is almost always a big white-painted wood coaster near the edge of a lake, and we have to walk through the grass at the bank of the lake to get to it.

The second dream is that we get to WDW, check into our hotel, and head out for the parks. Somehow, we end up spending all day every day going back and forth between the room and the bus stop- we keep forgetting things, or we need to go take a nap, or we decide to go to the pool, etc. We spend the entire week at WDW and never make it to the parks! I get very frustrated during these dreams, but my family doesn't seem to mind at all. I keep yelling at them to hurry up, we are missing the parks!!

I remember I once had a dream that Epcot was in Hawaii... It was a very weird and bizzare dream, and I have no clue where that came from. Everyone was trying to convince me that Epcot was in Hawaii, and I was like "no, its in Florida."

My husband has had many good laughs over how obsessed I am with Disney that I had dreams (nightmares!) about our June trip.

Most commonly I forgot something like to buy park tickets, to make dinner reservations or our luggage. It was always really drastic like I forgot park tickets and we did not have a dime to our names to buy them when we were there. Or we were on the dining plan and I did not make a single reservation so we had no where at all to eat. Alot of mine revolved around the stupid dining plan and our credits. No wonder I am pooh sized I dream about Disney food! I would have nightmares about messing up our dining credits and again we would be penniless with no food.

I had one really odd one like all of a sudden we were in Disney (my husband had made a joke about wishing we could skadoo there like Blue does in Blue's Clues) so in my dream we skadooed there (I sure hope you guys know what I am talking about) only we did not have all of our children. The children that we did have were not ours. So out of our 4 kids I had one of ours, 2 that I had never seen and no clue where my other kids were and no luggage for any of us and again no money. I am guessing my biggest concerns about that trip were that we had enough money and my dining reservations did not get lost in cyber space.

:rotfl: OMG, these are too funny! So glad to know I'm not alone in my obsession. The one I had the other night was about being on some sort of weird hybrid of IASW and HOP. We rode on boats through it like on IASW, but instead of the singing dolls, the presidents were there and they could all talk and even walk. They would each say a few lines and then they would walk to the water's edge and shake the hand of everyone in the boat just like real politicians! And some of the more obscure ones would say things like, "I'm Millard Fillmore and I know you don't care", or something like that. It was just too weird!

:rotfl2: Funny thing is, I can completely picture this. Must of been kind of creepy though!

I posted this on another Disney Dream thread.

I arrived late for a dinner show (didn't appear HDDR, the only one I have been to). I get to my table and I'm seated with strangers. They all have drinks and food but the CM's won't bring me anything. They move onto dessert and I haven't had anything to eat. I still can't get anyone to bring me food and then I wake up.

I have dreams where I'm at Disney or even just some random place but in my dream I know its somewhere in Florida, and I realize that its the end of my vacation and we haven't done ANYTHING! I start panicking in the dream because it'll be the last day of the trip and I haven't gone to the parks or anything I have planned. I also have dreams where I get there and realize I don't have ADRs but it's not as common. Discovery Cove also shows up but it's totally different in my dream, and it'll be something like an orca in a giant sized swimming pool, and I get to ride it but I'm not excited, or I walk all around but I can't find the dolphins. Very weird stuff...no cow costumes though. :rotfl2:

I had a Disney related dream last night.

Apparently for some reason I was in Paris with my parents the SAME day I was to check in at the WL! I'm walking with my older 2 DD's with my youngest in a stroller to the bus to take us to this hotel my mom booked and she's going on and on about it. When we get on the bus I look at my phone and see the time and start to freak out on my mom saying I have to go to the DME bus to go check into the WL. By this point I'm getting a behind chewing about how much money she's going to loose! I turned around and looked at her and said "Explain the situation to them at the front desk and ask for a downgrade and a refund." then I run off the bus and head back to the airport. Somewhere along the way I realize I dont have my Camera! I start digging through my carryon thinking "well I have my middle daughters in here somewhere." At this point my older 2 children walk off leaving me searching through the carryon looking for the small kodak my middle daughter has. I then realize I dont have my tickets or gift certificates for WDW and I start to cry. It was then that I woke up shaking my head.

Now I need to go and make sure I have everything we need for our trip packed and ready to go. Camera included.

These dreams are a riot! Especially the one about Obama...I would have been totally ticked if my carefully planned schedule was all fouled up in the name of the first family being able to mold their image by having photo ops with an average family. :D

Thanks for letting me know that weird dreams about Disney are normal!!

I have them more frequently the closer we get to a trip. Sometimes in these dreams we have forgotten major things like tickets, money, strollers for grands, trip binder with ADR info. Then the following two dreams that are just strange.

The first: I dream that I am in Moroco in Epcot only it is not Moroco as we know it. I am standing in a tiled pond with about 5,000 people watching a show that involves live tigers. Not real sure why Disney didn't think of it first, maybe tie it into the whole Aladdin theme.

The second: I get to the parks, they are open but all the rides are closed. So, I think I'll just walk back to the resort and try again tomorrow. It is dark outside and I am walking through a small village, for miles and miles. As I am walking the price of real estate is dropping along the way. I finally arrive at my "resort" it is a shack.

I dreamt that we had to go on a massive long quest to get to Disney World, it was like something out of Indiana Jones, i woke up before we got to the park :(

These posts are always funny. I tend to start having the crazy WDW dreams as it gets closer to my trip. I ALWAYS have one involving Spalsh Mtn. and like pp have said it's usually a weird version of the real attraction. I dream that instead of the solid logs you have to get on an inflatable raft to ride it...makes that final drop pretty scary:scared1:
I also have one involving Haunted Mansion where I'm going through it in a rolling chair (like an office chair) and it's always really weird. I've had the dreams where I make it into a park and spend the entire day trying to get to one attraction and never make it.

Does this make us crazy?:rolleyes1

I just had one a couple of nights ago. We were at WDW at our resort (strange looking place I think it was the treehouses). Somehow I had slept and lazed around and we wound up missing our MK day and an Epcot day, so I was trying to get the kids ready to go at night once I realized this but it was no use, it was almost closing time we got to the park (epcot or a combination of Epcot and Mk) I think looked strange) and nothing was open. I think in the dream we had missed several really good low crowd days and I had lost track of the days and I was really panicked and undone. It was quite a stressful dream. I've got to stop over planning and obsessing about best park days.

I have a recurring dream that we get to Disney and everything goes wrong and we never, ever get into any of the parks for different reasons every time. We do generally make it to the hotel but that's it. We lost our park tickets, we get lost, we get on the wrong bus, it rains, someone gets hurt. It's always different but in every dream whatever goes wrong ends up taking the whole week to resolve and we never get into the park.

Can you tell I am worried that something will ruin our trip?
