Weird movie yesterday

I decided to go to a movie yesterday, alone, for the first time ever in my life. Just needed some alone time and really wanted to see this movie and knew it was too old for DD11 and DH doesn't like those kind of movies... so off I go.

Well, I know I was going to the movie alone, I just didn't think I would be watching it alone. I got my popcorn and drink and went into the theatre and not a soul was in there. I found a seat and settled in and watched the previews alone, it was a little creepy. Thank goodness it wasn't a scary movie

Finally a few minutes into the movie a couple came in a sat behind me about 3 rows. I just thought it was weird that the first time I ever go alone I almost had the theatre to myself, guess I got my alone time.

BTW, I saw Elizabethtown and it was really, really good.

I like to go to the movies by myself. Particularly if it's a movie that I don't think DH, DD, or my mom would enjoy. Then, I don't have to worry about my companion hating it.

Plus, I don't have to share the popcorn.

I'm glad you had a good time! I'm looking forward to seeing Elizabethtown myself.

I enjoy solo movies too...but I've NEVER had a theater almost to myself...that's kinda funny!

Good for you!! I LOVE going to the movies by myself like for a Matinee show. I have had the theater to myself before, and it is fun, but creepy at times.

Glad to hear you got your alone time...I think we all need it at times. And glad to hear that you had a good time!! I have a $15 gift certificate to Cinemark, and I just can't wait to use it!

I've been to the theater several times where I'm the only one in the room. It's kinda fun cause I can put my feet up, burp, fart... make any bodily noises and no one's gonna care!

Love it. But then again, I love going to the theater solo. No sharing popcorn, no talking during the movie, I can go in my jammies...

When I went to watch Star Wars Ep 3 at midnight, I was a solo and sat next to a solo and we ended up chatting afterwards about the movie. That was fun.

I love going to the movies alone. I go on Sunday mornings. I always end up in a theater with only 1 or 2 other people who always want to seem to sit within three rows of me when the entire theater is empty. Drives me nuts.

Paula deen is in that movie. She is my favorite cook on the food network. Went to her restaurant on the way to and from wdw last summer in savannah.
