Weird MMVCP Ticket info

I just returned from a week at the Beach Club (trip report to follow). While there, I tried to buy tickets to the 12/16 MMVCP and was told that this was a day of purchase only event.

However, I just was able to order online. Anyone heard this?

You can pre-order [on-line and on the phone only I beleive] but you cannot actually buy and have the tickets before the day of the event. When you pre-order you have to pick up at MK guest services window on the day of the event.

I bought tickets last year online and they were mailed to me quite a bit in advance, like in September.

the one and only time we went in 2000, I purchased the tickets in advance on line and they were mailed to me months in advance.

We ordered our tickets online several weeks back for this december and we received our tickets in the mail already.

I have bought tickets at the front desk when we checked-in for a party 3 or 4 days away.

I also bought my tickets when they first came out and they were sent to me. I have had them for months.

I ordered mine for the 16th and they charged me the extra $3 and said that they would arrive in about a week.

I bought mine way back in the summer for Dec 13th using my AP discount. I was told they couldn't mail them because I had to show my AP and ID, but that I could pick them up when I went down there in Sept. Well, when we were there in Sept I went to guest relations and the CM just laughed and said they always say that. He looked my confirmation number up in the computer and gave me the tickets with no problem. He did ask me if I wanted the tickets now or if I wanted to wait until Dec. Duh, didn't I just ask for them? Anyway he said that if I lost them it wouldn't be a big deal, because they would still be in the computer and they could just reissue them. When I asked if he needed to see my ID or my AP he said 'No, obviously you have it or you wouldn't be offering to show me'.

Aubriee(sp?) when you used your AP to purchase the tickets, were you given the discount off the pre-day fee or the day-of fee? I figured it out, and you only save $2.00+ using the AP on the day-of fee. Thanks, in advance, for the info.

I ordered mine a few weeks ago along with our park hopper tix over the phone. We are going to MVMCP on 12/13 and I have had our tickets for 2 weeks now. They came in the mail.

To tell you the truth I don't know the fees. I paid $35.10/adult though, if that helps. My credit card was charged $70.20 for me and my mom.

I paid for mine over the phone with ress & picked them up when we got there. (didn't order them tell about 4 days before leaving so they wouldn't have made it in the maiL!)

OOPS---sorry -my tickets were for MNSHHP--not the other! SORRY!
