Weird Holiday Traditions.

Seeing how it's Easter, it brought to mind a tradition that our family has done for years.... Egg Spinning!

After you boil and color the eggs, the family gathers around the table. Everyone grabs an egg and spins it. The object of the game is to knock other people's eggs off the table. You also set one egg aside for the final spin off. The person who's egg rotates the longest wins.

Anyone else have a strange holiday event?

Egg spinning sounds like fun!
My DM used to hide our easter baskets - usually in the place having to do with our chores. She once hid my brother's easter basket in the trashcan and mine in the dishwasher!
We always have a lamb cake, which was made from a lamb form, iced with white icing, covered in coconut and jelly beans for eyes. This year, I get to make my first one.... I probably should have made it yesterday.....

We used to get that same lamb cake: Frosted, coconut, jelly bean eyes, etc. I don't remember why we stopped (DDs grew up is the most likely reason).

My great-grandfather's birthday was in April so we always gathered at Easter for our family reunion & then had birthday cake after our Easter dinner. No matter how many times, I tell the story, DH can never understand why I insist on buying a cake to have after dinner!
