weird/bad dreams

Do you get bad dreams a lot?

I used to have really bad nightmares but for the most part I havent had any really bad ones in a long time. Until last night that is.

I dreamt that I was was out with friends with dh and the kids were at home with 3 sitters ( why I dont know.) I looked up in the sky by where we lived and saw 3 fighter planes overhead dropping bombs. Then I saw the pilots bailng out right after and letting the planes crash. It was terrible! We finally got home and found everyone safe but none of the girls were able to reach their parents ( I guess they all lived further up the hill where the planes were) it was so vivid and real ... wow it was really scary!

DH woke me up this morning and I must have jumped a foot!!

I think I need to stop watching the news before bed.

I had a horrible dream once about ants..they were huge and crawling all over me and everything. I seriously would not get out of bed and walk on the floor. DH thought I was nuts.

I don't have many bad dreams. One dream that I have had since I was a little girl, shows up every few years. I dream that I am in Humble, Texas at my grandmother's house and I see a plane that is going to crash. The worst part of this dream is an overwhelming feeling of helplessness. I just watch the plane nosediving and I can hardly breathe.

I have dreamed that my husband put hundreds of snakes under our bed. That one wakes me up just really terrified and furious. I imagine Freud would have fun interpreting this one

I have another recurring dream about tornados. Once again, I'm always at my grandmother's house but this dream puts me at the little apartment on her property. I am having a birthday party with lots of 2 and 3 year old kids and I'm desperately trying to get them in a safe area but there <i>isn't</i> a safe area.

This one wakes me up too, it's a terrible feeling.

I haven't had a really bad dream in a couple of years now.

I always have weird dreams. A lot of times when I'm dreaming, I can't scream in my dream but while I'm trying to scream in my dream, I'm screaming in my sleep and Gene has to wake me up.
