I am currently booked in the BWI for October. I went to check today if there was availability to make our stay longer. We are currently booked for a Tuesday to Sunday. If I put in Saturday to Saturday it showed availability. If I checked Tuesday to Sunday again it said no availability. I tried Tuesday to Saturday thinking that maybe Sunday was the issue. Still no availability. How is it available for the week but not a shorter part of the week?

We are hoping for an AP or room only discount so I am trying to get our second choices figured out in case we need them.

I have seen that several times and I'm not sure why it works that way. Even with discounts, sometimes adding a night or two at the beginning and/or end shows availability when a shorter stay does not :confused3. I don't know if Disney figures you will book the longer stay and keep it rather than book and cancel the night(s) you don't need or want, but I always try adding nights if what I want isn't available and most of the time I see availability for the longer stay.

No real minimum for us market, but if you want to use ME I have seen it not allow anything shorter than three days. Guess they figure if they are gonna transport you around they want you there for three days worth of hotel fees at least. Lol! I tried to change once and it was just a day on either end and it was a mess! So we left it as it was!

There is no minimum stay requirement (beyond 1 night I mean) to use Magical Express.

Thanks! Glad it is not just me. I will have to play around with the availability some more.

I've been able to book online and use DME when staying only one night. OP, I'd guess it's the glitchy web site. The new site has had LOTS of issues and continues to have issues. I would not take the web site's word for it. Try calling.
