Hey is anyone else trying to lose weight for an upcoming trip? if you are please pm me im trying to but its harder to try and do it myself.
 
I'm just trying to lose weight for the heck of it...but it's not working.
 
I'm not really looking to lose for a trip but I'd like to for the summer. And I am doing very well at it. :) I'm starting to eat better. And I get plenty of exercise from vball practice.

As for you trying to lose, I wouldnt do so much of a diet where you only eat certain foods but cut down on the junk and eat more fruits and veggies. And maybe run or workout either everyday or every other. :upsidedow Whatever you do, DO NOT STOP EATING. That is the worst way to lose weight.

And maybe talk to your mom about losing weight. Maybe she'll have some great tips! :)
 
When i asked my mom a while back she got me into this program which helps alot but its not working as much as i hoped lol. Maybe it just seems like that because i want to lose alot in a little amount of time.
 

Moderation is key = Don't cut your diet entirely, yet don't over indulge in foods.

Exercise = Don't exercise like, 5 hours a day. 30 - 60 minutes 3 - 4 times a week should be fine.

If you'd like, start eating healthier foods.
 
All I can say is, that if you're trying to lose weight to please or impress other people, then don't do it. That's the wrong reason to lose weight, and it can be dangerous.

If you're losing weight to make yourself happy, then go for it. I wish you luck, as long as you don't lose too much weight :)

I don't have to lose weight. But I want to, but only like a pound or two so I am going to be working on our treadmill
 
I am the same. 13 pounds underweight.

I want to loose a little weight though
 
Yes, for some reason recently I've gained weight. 120. And I feel weird. I'm trying to lost weight, me and my mom are going on a "diet" next week,

As in not really a diet, but just eating healthier.

Im doing it for my health but making myself happy is a added bonus :cool1:

I'm pretty happy with my weight right now. maybe a pound or two.

Remember that when you work out as well as eat healthily, you are also gaining muscle as well as losing fat. muscle weighs more than fat, so it may seem like you're not losing anything. I always end up gaining but looking a lot better. :goodvibes

And j/w, if you're underweight, aren't you not supposed to lose more?
 
I don't want to sound arrogant, but the one thing I'm NOT self-concious about is my weight. My metabolism is super-duper fast, although I've noticed its starting to slow down. *sob* I'm incredibly under-weight, but still really healthy, for my age. Although I've 'filled out' more, over the last year. I was literallt sharing cothes with my eight year old sister until I was about 12, now shes bigger than me.... Weight wise, not height wise. XD She can beat me up. :p

So anyways, I have no plans to diet this summer, but I do need to eat healthier. (I say this as I'm eating Taco Bell at 10:30 in the morning) :rolleyes Taco Bell is my weakness. And its SOO fattening. I need to eat healthier, but I'm scared to loose weight, because I can just now fit into the juniors, shirts at least, pants are still kids. XDD I'm 2 sizes+ bigger in the height than I am in the waist. I need like a 0 or something to fit the height, but I'm still in like kids 8-10 in the waist. Therefore, I don't have a single pair of pants that fit. Although being small will help me in later-life as everyone says..
 
Not for a trip.
But I need to lose some.
I've probably gained 5 pounds since Christmas.
I look horrible in dresses and bathing suits.
Both of which I need to buy.

I got braces yesterday, and I might end up not eating as much because more than half of the food I eat, my mother won't let me, even if it's not a big deal.
 
I've gained weight over the past few months too. My friends and my mom keep telling me that it's muscle weight because I've been working out 4 days a week, but just seeing that number on the scale makes me paranoid that I look like a blob, you know?

I'm trying to start a fitness plan this summer, but it's not going very well so far.
