Manda - Start slowly. Walk and add in jogging/running for just a few seconds at the time (maybe 30 seconds for every 5 minutes). As your knees adjust, you can alter the ratio to more running. As for the migraine, I have such a chronic problem with them that if I didn't go on with my plans I'd never get anything done!
Vicky - Congratulations on your half! What a great time! Good job getting the gel in.
Beth - I've read recently that the budget experts strongly recommend only one trip to the grocery store instead of daily trips for that exact reason. It's way too easy to spend $50 every time you go in. Much less expensive to make a weekly budget and get it all in one trip. I try to alternate between Sam's and the regular grocery store - that way I can buy milk and OJ at Sam's where it's cheaper and supplement at the grocery. Fortunately, with just DH and me now, we don't need much of either!
Cindy - Joining you in coming down with something. I think mine is just allergies, but I felt really bad on Monday and actually left work early to come home and go to bed. Slept for about 4 hours, but I've been really stuffy ever since. Hope yours doesn't develop into anything serious!
DH and I ran Sunday night, and had planned to run Monday, but I obviously slept through our run. Still felt really run down on Tuesday, but was determined tonight to run regardless. Managed 4+ miles, but I could tell I'm not anywhere close to 100%. Had a really hard time breathing the last mile, but I'm still glad I got out there and was active. I've been mostly good with my eating habits - we did break down and go to our favorite fast food burger joint after the run tonight - have NEVER EVER had a bad experience there, but tonight's burgers and fries were HORRIBLE. I think there may have been a message in there somewhere...
