Good morning Lean Meaners. I am glad Debra stopped by......I was feeling lonely!
Debra: I am impressed that you hung in there to get all that testing done. What a big pain, but good that it is over!!!! You did a great job, I am proud of you. You must take care of your health!.......now I need to schedule my mammagram! I know what you mean with the torture side of the mammagram! Never a nice way to spend your time!
Fueling my runs/exercise has not been a treat. It's a struggle for me, and I don't think I am doing such a hot job of it! But, I will hang in there in the attempt to find the right mix! Nice that you met up with Cam and Howard....such nice folks!
AFM: My double dipping was taxing yesterday.......my early AM run on the TM was the worst! I kept saying 'I need to just quit!' but hanging in there for the whole 3 miles (lumbering I call it). I did have to miss Pilates last night, as the only parent around to take both boys to baseball.......but I ran 6 more miles on the trail, so not a total loss! So, this morning was made up of 10 to 15 minutes of bartering with myself to get on the TM again. I logged 9 miles yesterday, and sure did feel it today......but if I didn't run this AM, I would have logged no miles today since Pump class is tonight......so, finally I got on the dreaded TM and got it done......and it was much better than yesterday (because my 'boyfriend' Angel was very engaging today)!!!!!! I love him!
(and my dh wasn't home, still in bed.....I hate that too!)
A big shout out to the Meaners to check in today (Please????)
Beth

and accolades!
to everyone else!

Cindy's way is much healthier.
Just little things here and there that needed to get done. At least my eating has been under control - but I haven't hopped on the scale to see if there's been any loss. I'll do that tomorrow.
Seriously, as I understand it some people just have so much that no matter what they do, medication is the only way to treat it. DH was borderline and changed his diet and started working out, and it went away, so we were very lucky. I don't think you can work out much more, and your diet is already plant-based! I will echo Cindy -- we'd love to do a mini WISH meet in Boston!
Did I mention my basement is actually an in-law apt? It has it's own entrance, kitchen, fireplace and bathroom. Just a little incentive...

And like you pointed out, you're doing it safely and without injury. Your base has got to be much stronger than it was only a few months ago. Woo hoo!
Bah, you're too young to know what I'm talking about. Just trust me, it's good for you (and I think eggs must be, too). It's especially good for after a short run.
